Decided to make some changes to my fursona and make some more extensive references for her. Wanted to give her facial hair and make her ears smaller to better show off her earrings and allow her to emote with them. I also removed the extra colors from her hair cause they were a bit difficult to work with at different angles.
Finally finished my half of the older Frisk/Monster Kid art with @evrgloww. It’s not much, but the project has been helping me get back into the swing of doing digital art (and art in general). I ended up drawing up half a dozen draft sketches before settling on something that looked good, but wouldn’t break the art side of my brain.
I’m also pretty sure their version of MK is much taller than how I just drew them.
[Image Description: A drawing of a thin, long haired cat walking with his tail upright looking at the viewer. Above the full body image is a closeup picture of his face in front view and the word “Firestar” written in an orange cursive-like font. The cat has reddish orange striped feet, tail, ears, and face that fade to gold as they approach the main pale cream body. His eyes are teal green. The background is a solid pale green. After years of not uploading, I have finally returned. So to get back into the swing of things, I’m going to draw as many Warrior cats as I can from the original series. Let’s see how things go.
When designing Firestar I wanted to really emphasize his connection with fire and take advantage of him being born a housecat. So I made him a flame point Balinese (or rather Javanese; most standards don’t consider red a valid color for that breed). I had to cheat quite a bit as even red sepia cats look pretty pale, and then there’s the matter of Firestar having green eyes while colorpoints can only have blue eyes. But regardless, I’m pretty proud of this pic.
Had this old drawing of Matonne sitting on my tablet for some bigger project, but decided to scale it back to a more proper ref sheet.
[[Image Description: The image is the reference sheet of a furry brown humanoid character. This character has the head of a rabbit, the tail of a lion, and the legs of a horse. They are shown in four different outfits.

[Image Description: Digital artwork of a Clefairy; a pastel pink, round, bipedal Pokémon with large cat-like ears, tiny fairy wings, a curl of hair atop its head akin to bangs, and a curly tail resembling a cinnamon roll. The background is dark blue with lighter blue stars on it, resembling a night sky. The line-art, shadows, highlights, and background all have a pixelated airbrush appearance to them. End Of Image Description]
It’s been a looooong while since I’ve posted any art. So to get myself at least a little bit back into the swing of things, I’ve decided to do a little drawing of one of my Pokémon faves, Clefairy. I played around with the Dissolve Filter and pencil tool in Photoshop, and I have to saw I am in love with them.
[Image Description: A drawing of a golden lioness laying down on a rock with a peach lion cub laying near her front legs. End of Description]
I’ve been watching a lot of Drawfee and The Lion Guard lately, so I was inspired to experiment with brushes by drawing Malka and his mother, who I’ve named Tafuta. The background I am not proud of, but the main drawing I quite like.
Some concept sketches of a few characters that have been floating around in my head for a while. On the left we have Alex, and on the right is Zahra. The center character I have yet to name, though I would like to give her one beginning with an M. More info on them should be coming soon. Heights not to scale.
[Image Description: Drawing of the Pokémon Granbull. Granbull is resembles a purple bulldog with a thick, grey collar and long, protruding lower canine teeth. End of Description.]
Damn, how long has it been since I last posted? Well, neither here nor there. Wasn’t quite proud of this drawing when I started it months ago, but thanks to the internet’s motivational words of “better finished than perfect,” I’ve cleaned this up and finally posted it. Not the best, but a fun exercise in reinterpreting another one of my favorite pokemon, Granbull.
[Image Description: A reference sheet of a fat, dark-skinned character with curly black hair that is tied back. He are wearing glasses, a black hoodie, pink t-shirt, gray pants, and black shoes. His name is written at the bottom of the image: Alex Anderson. End of Description.]
An old reference sheet for an updated design of my character Alex.
[Image Description: Four sketches of a humanoid creature standing and dressed in various outfits. This creature has tan fur, a rabbit-like head, a long tufted tail, and hooves.] [Starting from the left, in the first outfit she is wearing a pink jean jacket with art pins on it, a dark blue striped shirt underneath, and pink shorts.] [The second outfit is the same dark blue shirt and pink shorts, but without e jacket.] [The third outfit is a white cropped tank top, short black leggings, a red feather boa wrapped around the creature’s arms, and a golden choker on her neck.] [The fourth outfit is a purple and black striped button-up, a gray graphic t-shirt underneath, and black bejeweled jeans.]
Some sketches I did of an older character. Gave her some hooves, because I hate drawing feet and shoes and don’t really care about footwear fashion. Her name is Matonne, and I’m thinking about using her as my fursona, since I tend to mindlessly doodle creatures that look like this a lot.
