Had the lineart for this sitting in my iPad for several months and decided to just bite the bullet and complete it last week. Here be my current versions of Ahadi and Uru with their currently three kids, Mufasa, Taka, and Jamaa. (I’m on the fence about giving them more kids.) Given that he’s just a scruffier Mufasa, I decided to make Simba’s uncle from An Unusual Choir biologically related to him through Mufasa.
I’m also really in love with the idea of Ahadi having a bi-colored mane where at least one of the colors doesn’t match those of his sons. As for where Mufasa gets his red mane from, well Taka/Scar’s and Uru’s mane/tail tufts are actually an extremely dark and saturated red, so I figured Ahadi’s much lighter mane would give Mufasa his red one. Or maybe it’s a recessive trait on Uru’s side of the family. In some scans of The Brightest Star, Mohatu’s mane is reddish.
The green eyes and brown nose are definitely recessive traits from Uru.
Had some doctor’s visits that took me away from art, but I am back at it with JayeBirde’s a colorpoint kitty. Decided to play around with some color filters given how quick I pumped this one out.
I came across a tree that was just too pretty to not take some pictures of.
Yet another gal to fill out the furry universe Matonne inhabits. Hopefully I can get these out quicker and then start doing some real art with all these guys.
Just a list of some of the nonbinary genders I interpret some of the UT characters as, along with my reasons for such.

The actually first piece of Murderbot fanart I ever made (over a year ago now). Drew this up immediately after finishing Network Effect fueled by queerplatonic Murderhelion feels.
So yes, this is technically ship art of a technologically advanced ship named ART and its security unit.
No, the binary does not mean anything.
[Image Description: A drawing of a thin, long haired cat walking with his tail upright looking at the viewer. Above the full body image is a closeup picture of his face in front view and the word “Firestar” written in an orange cursive-like font. The cat has reddish orange striped feet, tail, ears, and face that fade to gold as they approach the main pale cream body. His eyes are teal green. The background is a solid pale green. After years of not uploading, I have finally returned. So to get back into the swing of things, I’m going to draw as many Warrior cats as I can from the original series. Let’s see how things go.
When designing Firestar I wanted to really emphasize his connection with fire and take advantage of him being born a housecat. So I made him a flame point Balinese (or rather Javanese; most standards don’t consider red a valid color for that breed). I had to cheat quite a bit as even red sepia cats look pretty pale, and then there’s the matter of Firestar having green eyes while colorpoints can only have blue eyes. But regardless, I’m pretty proud of this pic.
Been playing quite a bit of the Sims 4, and these two are among some of my favorite digital dolls. Darrel is the first child of the first two sims I made in the game, and Roberto is from the third household I ever made. Currently, they’re married with two kids. While the unmodded base game doesn’t allow for it, in my head Roberto runs a small game dev studio, and Darrel watches the kids in between being a music tutor.
I hit the random character button on ArtFight and came across taffypet’s cute furry pink polyamorous boygirl. I just had to draw him with my own furry pink(loving) polyamorous boygirl. It was a fun challenge designing their outfits and playing around with the colors. Went with a sleeveless top and shorts for Henny because I just love her patterns too much to cover them.
[Image Description: Drawing of a sitting cat with curly, grey fur. Above the cat is a drawing of their face from the front. Below the cat is the word “Graystripe”. End of Description.]
Took me a while to fully figure out Graystripe’s design. Originally, I was going to give the rex coat to Firestar’s family, but then in terms of personality, I feel curly fur better fits the comedian of the OG apprentices.
This was gonna be part of a larger project years ago, but this is the only part I even started on.
Guess it counts now as vent art, of the frustration of being both sick and/or disabled and having to go through so many hoops just to get the care you know exists, with some of those hoops being financial in my case.
