I’m gonna try fasting for 48 hours!! I already have 14 hours, so only 34 hours left!! That means I’ll be done by 10 pm tomorrow. But who knows, maybe I’ll go longer because I’ll be sleeping by around that time. If anyone has fasting tips, feel free to leave them !!!

My rules for fasting:

-coffee, tea, and water only

-if I do start to feel really sick, eat a healthy, low calorie snack

-continue the 30 day fitness thingy but stop if I begin to feel ill

-gum is allowed

-if someone asks why I’m not eating, tell them I feel sick/my heard hurts

Signs a Spirit Has Visited Your Dream

Hey, Dark Academia community: if you’re interested in academic talks and intellectual discussion, I’d really recommend you subscribe to the channel virtual BRLSI on Youtube. BRLSI stands for the ‘Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution”: a respected organization set up 200 years ago as a centre for Enlightenment ideas and intellectual discussion in Bath, England (where Jane Austen lived!)

They organize lectures and interviews every month with leading academics and prominent authors, which are then posted online. My father is very active in BRLSI and would love for the channel to get some exposure - a lot of work goes into it. natural leader, writes and reads odes, her favourite thing to read is odes by horace, quotes the illiad and odyssey, adventurous, sometimes thinks of creative ways to commit murder, wears dark colours, has friends from all around the world and lots of pen pals, visits old buildings way too often

you’re sat in the library, there are thousands of leather-bound books surrounding you. it’s late enough that most people have already left but early enough that you’re still only on your first coffee. you’re reading an academic text on a topic you’re really interested in. you’re feeling motivated for the night ahead of you.

i always apologize for doing some stuff for myself only, for sometimes not considering anyone’s opinion, but then, she is not hungry and i just ask to go to one place, and we go where she wants, i’m not saying anything yet, they don’t serve us there and i’m hungry. once again i ask to go to the place i’m saying and she agrees until she makes a whole drama out of it, because once in a life time stuff didn’t go as she wanted and once again she takes me where she wants, and gets mad at me for not wanting to eat anything from there cuz i didn’t want, calls me piece of shit, ungrateful bitch, and says that i should die. honestly ?i think she is right

it just bottles up and up until you can’t hold it, and once you spill it, you don’t feel anything anymore
