You may be thinking, why does she need so much, haven't we helped enough yet? While we complain about, let's say, the ever-rising price of eggs - 2€ here, $10 in the US - how much might these same eggs cost for Ola, in a country where all production is stopped & barely any food can be imported? Well, for Ola and her family, every single food item & necessity has prices comparable to what one would normally only spend on perhaps a trip or even rent - each egg, or fruit, or vegetable, is like a luxury item, and meat is out of the question entirely. On top of that, Ola is unable to work or earn any money, so she & her family are completely dependent on this campaign for basic survival. In this art piece, I wanted to portray Ola's dreams that were crushed by the current situation, where she can barely survive.

Hey people on Tumblr, I have a question for you : do you contribute to your community ? Do you take the initiative to make things better for the people around you ?

I’ve brought up many times about Shahed Abumousa. She’s a 20 year old Palestinian who is studying dentistry and she is doing her best to survive a whole year of horror and violence. Since October last year, she has gone through the bombing of her house, the multiple displacements, the hunger and thirst, the shootings and diseases.

Despite it all, Shahed has dedicated her time, energy, and effort for everyone around her. She has volunteered as medical aid when hospitals were being destroyed one by one, distributed food with her family when she is starving, and taught children who couldn’t go to school in between her classes. Speaking of which, she continues with her education to achieve her degree while fundraising for her family of 7 people’s survival and supplies for her students. She is carrying a lot on her shoulders when she is only 20!

I am asking you once again:, what are you doing for your community? The truth is that most people are doing the bare minimum, if anything at all. So if you want to make a difference, please donate and share. Your contribution will not only help Shahed and her family survive, but it will also help give back to her community. So give what you can because she's stagnating at the halfway mark that she reached only recently after 7 months. She deserves all of our support.

Ahmed Al-Nabih is a 30 year old Palestinian (@ahmedalnabeeh11). He and his twin brother, Abdul Al-Nabih, wish to look for a significant other and settle down.

Unfortunately, the opportunity to search for love has come to an abrupt end. They are now in a flimsy tent with their parents. There is limited food and water. No electricity. No A/C.

The extreme heat is taking a toll on them.

Especially their mother. She is a kind and loving woman who would love to see her sons happily married. But, she suffers from chronic disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

The IDF blocks off aid, so Palestinians do not have the proper access to medication, supplements, and other products that can help with their well-being. This includes insulin.

I have seen scammers impersonate Palestinians on this website. They also impersonate Palestinians with diabetes. In fact, I caught one a few days ago!

The most concerning thing about the scam is that people have donated to it when the money should have gone to Palestinians who are legitimate.

So now you have one. It is Abdul and Ahmed's mom.

I urge you to contribute. Not only will it help them evacuate, but it will give their mom the treatment she rightfully deserves! As writing this, €13,867 out of €30,000 has been raised.

Twisted Wonderland Personality Swap AU

So I’ve been experimenting and having a lot of fun with a Twisted Wonderland personality swap AU, where the Housewardens and Vice-Housewardens switch personalities. I ended up sketching a little comic (read left to right) and since this is my first ever attempt at a comic I think it ended up not half bad. I might clean it up later if I feel like it lol. (Can you tell I have no idea how speech bubbles work? Also- first time ever properly drawing Trey so yay for me ig?)

Riddle is much calmer and more light-hearted. He’s still Housewarden, but his dynamic with Trey (and the whole dorm) has changed significantly. He’s a bit more of a trickster and much more laid back. He now desires to ‘maintain peace and keep his school life stress-free.’ He doesn’t want to punish anyone for breaking the rules, but his scary Vice-Housewarden Trey does.

Trey is much stricter and is the one with anger issues. He is now the tyrant who holds up all the rules, but since he doesn’t have ‘Off With Your Head’, he has Riddle carry out the punishments. He's probably also very strict when it comes to dental hygiene. Heartslaybul is basically being ruled by Trey, who's forcing Riddle to be strict.

Is anyone else interested in this concept? If so, I'll try my hand at continuing this little comic page.
