I Love How Delightfully Strange Ancient Whales Look. They Haunt Me. This One Haunts These Walkers Too.

A series of brown board walks are suspended by stilts over a blue pool filled with lily pads. Facing away from the camera near the top, there is a black man walking on one branch of the boardwalk on the other branch there is a multiracial gay couple walking hand in hand. Near the bottom, there is a woman with a hijab walking. To her right there is a black woman running after a black girl. None of them see the skeleton of a basilosaurus, an ancient whale, in the pond in the far right of the canvas. Near the center one asian woman pauses to look at the whale.

I love how delightfully strange ancient whales look. They haunt me. This one haunts these walkers too.

A comic with dark blue on the outside of the panels.
First Panel (whole line): A crowded aquarium with two girls staring at a massive zebra shark whose tail bursts from the top of the panel.
Second panel (half line): One girl with short hair looking at the tank with complete awe.
Third panel (half line): Other girl with long hair looking at short haired girl and blushing.
Fourth panel ( full line): Close up of long-haired girl's hand reaching for short-haired girl's hand.
Fifth panel (full line): Close up of long-haired girl's hand pulling back. Short-haired girl has not noticed.

Lesbian pining at the aquarium. Yes I know I'm incredibly original.

A Water Color Snail. They Are A Cuban Painted Snail. Their Name Is Sheldrake. Might Make Some Snails

A water color snail. They are a Cuban painted snail. Their name is Sheldrake. Might make some snails for sale if they become popular.

Image Id: A snail on a light, warm gray background. The snail’s head has two gray eyestalks and one small gray tentacles. The head is red on top, orange in the middle, and yellow on the bottom. The center of the spiral is white. As it moves out it becomes yellow, then green, then white again. Then it shifts to dark brown, to brown and orange and finally to red and yellow.

A small humanoid that is bird from the throat down. Turquoise and royal blue wings pinned just slightly away from her sides with red sewing pins at the elbow and wingtip. Tail feathers compressed and rigid. Her chest feathers are golden and still, a red pin through the center of her chest. Another pierces just above her sternum. A bob of blue hair frames her slightly surprised, glazed eyes. A trickle of blue runs from her mouth, down her chin. The paper backing is rough and purplish off-white. A slip of paper above her head reads: M. faerie. All is contained in a shining brown frame on a dark brown background.

I do like strange faerie concepts and taxidermy. Have both.

A photograph with a black background of four people in Winnie the Pooh onesies. The left most person is the tallest and is in a piglet onesie. They have light skin and long pink hair pulled back in a ponytail. They smile sheepishly with their hands in a big pocket. The person next to them is in a pooh onesie. They are Indian and are holding a piece sign over their right eye. They are grinning. Next to them in an eeyore onesie is a black woman of the same height with the ends of her natural short hair dyed purple. She has her arm around the person in the pooh onesie and has a half-smile. There's a red diamond-shaped pendant on a cord around her neck. The last person in the line up is the second tallest and wears a tigger onesie. They have white hair, a happy smile, and a black choker around their neck. They're doing nya paws.

Some young punks in coordinated Winnie the Pooh onesies. Surprisingly, Chel's idea.

Kira (piglet): Hey Chel, why are we wearing these again?

Chel (eeyore): Halloween!

Kira: Yeah, but why Winnie the Pooh?

Midas (pooh): Cause it's fun! Now smile! The timer's about to go off!

Lace (tigger): Everybody say punk's not dead!

Everyone: Punk's not dead!

Profile of a woman silhouetted against a yellow sunset sky with clouds in the red barren desert. She wears a black long sleeved shirt and a braid curls over the top of her left shoulder which is closest to the camera. An abnormally large coyote skull covers sits on her head and covers her face down to her nose, but her stern expression is still visible. Her eye peers out from the eye socket. Through holes in the top of the skull, two coyote ears emerge.

Little Western concept I'm toying with. Where'd she get that giant coyote skull you ask? Stay tuned!

The first four pages of a zine. The background of all pages is cream paper with blue lines. The top page says Classroom Monsters! in black letters. The M in monsters is covered in blue fur with two teeth at the bottom of the M. Below that it says Ari Coester and @astro-axolotl. Around the edges of the paper are a piece of each of the monsters in the pages of the books. Clockwise from top: an insect mouth with sharp teeth, a blue snail tail leaving a trail of dark purple glittery slime, two eyes on stalks, two triangular horns, an insect leg, and a scaly tail with a yellow paper airplane on the tail.
The next page is titled Munch Box in red. It is an orange lunch box with a red devil tail, blue furry legs with white claws, and a red forked tongue coming out from between sharp teeth. It has two cream horns near a gold handle. Its eye stares at the viewer. The text below reads "looks like a lunch box to trick you into putting food into it. DO NOT FEED!!"
The next page says Pencil Eater in Red. It is a red pencil sharpener with 4 black insect legs on the left and two on the right. The hole of the sharpener has three sharp teeth, two on top and one on bottom. A crest of pencil shaving comes out of the back. Two eyes on stalks are on the opposite side of the hole and stare back at the viewer. The text below says: "Eats pencil lead. Keeps wood shaving on back to look bigger. "
The last page is titled Eraser Crab in red. It's a pink pencil eraser topper with an eye in the hole and a small red semi-circular mouth beneath it. In the mouth is a pencil shaving. It has eight red legs, four on each side. The text below says "scavenge pencil shavings. switch eraser shells as they get bigger."
The last three pages of the zine. The top page is titled Spider Plant. It is a terracota pot with a succulent in the dirt. The center bud of the succulent is red purple and the rest of the leaves are green. The pot has one large eye and two stickers: a star and a rainbow. It has 8 legs arranged in a circle around the water catching dish. The text below says "gives the plant a home in exchange for sugars. Plant also helps camouflage."
The next page is titled in red "Paper Griffen". It's a yellow paper airplane with blue squiggles drawn all over it and an eye near the nose. Two orange bird legs with sharp talons are curled beneath the body. A green scaled tail comes from the central crease and curls around the plane. The tip has a smaller paper air plane. There are black motion lines near the tail. The text reads "can't fly, only glide. uses tail for steering." The last page is titled in red Snue. It's a purple glitter glue bottle with slightly off Elmer's branding and lettering. The orange cap has two eyes on blue stalks coming out of it. The foot of the snue comes out of the underside of the bottle. It is light blue and leaves behind a trail of purple glitter glue. The small text reads "Can pull whole body into bottle for safety. Leaves behind a glittery slime trail."

A silly comic about some monsters that live in classrooms. Look more closely at your school supplies.
