Yay!!!!!!!!!! So happy that you got out your paints a made a snail!!! Always need more snail paintings in the world!!!! What a cutie!!! What lovely spots!!
About 70 days ago I commented on @astro-axolotl 's watercolour snail saying I wish I could get the watercolours out and paint a snail myself. I haven't painted in months. I haven't posted art here in maybe a year. I haven't painted a snail ever.
Here's my snail
“The moon will sing a song for me
I loved you like the sun
Bore the Shadows that you made
With no light of my own”
Listening to The Crane Wives “Moon Will Sing” and this image dropped directly into my brain. Another wolf shapeshifter? In this house? More likely than you think.
Image Id: A young man with short brown hair falls through the sky. His right arm dangles limply and his left reaches for a yellow waxing gibbous moon. He wears a long sleeved cream shirt with an x pattern stitched around the wrists and black claw-shaped buttons. His brown belt has the same x pattern. He wears black pants and brown boots with black leather laces and soles. A wolf pelt hangs around his shoulders bound by a white tooth beneath his chin. The wolf’s head is a hood over his troubled face. His eyes are open; the skin’s are closed. He’s lit above by the moon and below by three blue clouds.
Introducing Violet Death, the most terrifying teenage gunwitch in the whole West. Her truth bullet will make you spill your guts-- in both senses of the phrase.
I love how delightfully strange ancient whales look. They haunt me. This one haunts these walkers too.
Another sea slug because I love painting them and cannot be stopped by man or god.
Little Western concept I'm toying with. Where'd she get that giant coyote skull you ask? Stay tuned!
Happy Halloween from town best buds!
Back to the Isles....
Image Id: Luz Noceda in her end season 2 outfit holding Owlbert in staff form. She looks up and to the side with a determined but nervous expression. Owlbert’s head is pointed in the direction of her gaze. The ground is dark and cracked.
Art blog of Ari Coester. He/him. Mid 20s. I post comic concept art, cute animal watercolor, and surrealist illustration. My favorite things to draw are animals and monsters.
