I’m from the Carolinas, spent several years living in Louisiana, and therefore did not agree with the options the game presented. Any Obey Me fans who want to try something approaching devildom spice need to try:

Carolina Reaper in just about anything - it doesn’t have much flavor on its own, just shitloads of heat. I’d mix it up in a vinegar-based BBQ sauce and toss pulled pork in it, and you can cut the heat with applesauce if it’s too much. Actually, ema datshi with reaper or ghost pepper would be pretty good, I should try to make that.

Nashville chicken - ramp up the cayenne: brown sugar ratio for extra spice.

Gumbo, jambalaya, boudin sausage, or manque choux - again, you’re gonna be drowning your recipe with cayenne to make it spicy, and you can throw in a ghost pepper or Carolina Reaper if you want.

Just remember to wear gloves when you slice your peppers.

This reminds me of that National Geographic article that said, statistically, everyone of European heritage alive today is a descendant of Charlemagne. That is, everyone alive in Europe in the ninth century who had children is related to everyone of European extraction today (including Charlemagne’s unfortunately named kinfolk Drogo and Pippin). Not a request, just curious about something. Idk if I should say spoilers or not but just in case, spoilers. I just started playing but I know that MC is Lilith's decendant but doesn't that mean Lilith had kids and those kids had kids? Wouldn't it make more sense to say that MC is Lilith's reincarnation or am I just reading things wrong here?

MC is NOT Lilith's reincarnation.

Lilith got reincarnated as a human EONS ago and had kids and those kids had kids and then those kids had kids, etc...

We are, as MC, a descendent of Lilith. Like. A million and then some Generations down

I’m bi and probably not 100% the target demographic, but it doesn’t necessarily bother me that there aren’t dateable ladies in the game. I can play Arcana to hang out with my big tiddy GF Portia, I don’t need every game to cater to everything I like. That being said, we hear about other female characters in passing - witches other than Maddi, I think some succubi maybe? I think it would be cool to develop some characters like that in-game. Maybe an older witch gives us some lessons in magic, or we take Luke to hang out with Madame Scream to make some macarons, or team up with a succubus to prank Asmo, or maybe we go find the little girl Mammon takes care of in the human world and take her on a playdate with Little D. No. 2? Even if they’re not big characters, it would flesh out the world and be a good foil to the main characters we’re romancing (or adopting, in the case of Luke lol).

okay i'm gonna say it. to have one of the only female characters that appear in the game dead and the other, Maddi, who is a human witch, be obsessive and make most of the characters uncomfortable on multiple occasions does not look all too good for the game. just because it is an otome game does not mean that there can't be any female characters portrayed in a good light. i've had a problem with this for a while but didn't really say anything about it since it is an otome game after all, and i felt like as a queer (lesbian, nb) fan i have never been their target demographic to begin with.

i just felt like finally saying something since i haven't really seen anyone talk about it.
