i think villains in general provide better, more epic romances because they're allowed to go to extremes. they're allowed to put their love over the greater good. they're allowed to be selfish. the best a hero can offer you is number two, because their duty comes first. villains, though. villains will burn down the world for a last kiss goodbye.
Heathers (1988)
I was on a college campus, walking down the hallway checking on active classes. I walked past a room and Jack Black was standing next to the door looking out. For some reason Jack was my ex in the dream (which is super weird cause I'm a lesbian) and he followed me down the hallways to try and get back with me. I woke up after he grabbed my arm to pull me toward him. Very romantic.

so fucking upset about the lesbian ‘representation’ in euphoria. there are gonna be so many people who watch this and use their characters as proof for lesbians centering our relationships around men. this is why so many sapphics (+other queer ppl) people fight for bipoc queer women writers because when a white cis straight men like sam levinson write sapphics (but especially lesbians), they perpetuate incorrect and harmful notions about lesbians as a whole.
it was just so upsetting to go from the amazing scenes in jules’ special episodes that hunter schafer wrote talking about decentralizing men from sapphics, lesbians, and transgender women to whatever this fucking plot is this season.
i don’t want this to come off as me saying that all lesbian/sapphic relationships in film and tv need to be perfect. i don’t need them to be. but perpetuating these harmful stereotypes that men created about lesbians in their little fantasy world just harms us as a community and generally just fucking sucks.
