This is your first time carrying for another person and it’s so heavy that the only possible explanation you can think of is friendship because no one’s ever shown you the slightest morsel of love yet you find yourself caring about the way this unstable man thinks of you. A feeling so foreign for you that that’s what you think friendship is like even though you have the sneaking suspicion that it’s something more; willing to break the very thing you’ve found yourself needing to breathe in an attempt to understand it.

But Hannibal never courted her like he did with Will, Bedelia came into Hannibal's life much before Will but he never pursued her like he did with Will.  Mads said he wanted a future with Will unlike with other people he hooked up with Alana, Bedelia or Anthony. He took her to Italy as a consolation prize when Will betrayed him. Even in Italy H was pining about Will all the time and telling Bedelia how much he loves Will.  I know he slept with Bedelia but he probably slept with Anthony too and he slept with Alana, Hannibal is a hedonistic guy who sleeps around. For him  sleeping with someone doesn't mean he is in love with them.  On the other hand he took a bullet for Will, went to prison for years for Will, made a human heart for Will, jumped off a cliff for Will, committed a whole massacre for Will. But when Will confronts Bedelia, she pretends as if Hannibal held them in the same regard which is obviously not true. Hannibal would choose Will over her in a heart beat and even she knows it  but yet she acts as if Hannibal sees them both equally. I don't understand why? 😭 Why do you think?why make herself seem like a competition when she is clearly not?

YEA YES YES, I love everything about this bc you’re so right. Hannibal basically sleeps with anyone he wants bc he doesn’t care. You have to remember that the man has fucked up morals so he probably thought that as long as it was no strings attached then it didn’t matter, unlike with Will who he would literally gift a dead body to as some sort of fucked up mating ritual. Hannibal loves to get under his skin and definitely knew Bedelia would say sum shit to set Will off.

Do you ever think about the fact that Will uses his glasses as his protection, a way to keep people at an arm's length but he never wears it in private with Hannibal. In fact during his first therapy session, he uses physical distance as a way to indicate he isn't comfortable or open to the idea of therapy, but not necessarily closed to the idea of talking to Hannibal because he's not wearing his glasses. During their second session, seemingly within a few minutes that physical distance is slowly closed, and they're both laughing and smiling despite the morose topic. In conclusion, they make me insane.
