It’s Beautiful
Will getting/stealing? Winston (it was such a sweet introduction to his character after the abruptness with Jack and Hannibal, it’s the scene that got me hooked on his character! <3)
Hannibal getting slapped by Bella (this got such a big laugh out of me and made my heart hurt at the same time. Definitely laugh a lot more now knowing how many times they shot that scene and how Gina Torres connected those slaps every. Single. Time.)
A Rare Gift
Alana/Will in the hospital with Abigail (again, sweet moments. I can never really hate Alana like some (weird imo) people do, she’s just generally a likeable character even if I question the things she does.)
Will running after Buster in the snow (just finished this episode. My heart hurts for the little man. </3)
Peter’s Confused
Bedelia bathing Hannibal (haven’t gotten this far, but I dislike sexy stuff so idk. Maybe it’ll be sweet non-sexual intimacy, but considering I could scoop the sexual tension in the latter half of season 2 like shortening and put it in a cake, I’m erring on the side of caution).
Hannibal and Sutcliffe having dinner and talking about Will (didn’t feel particularly strong about Sutcliffe. I did kind of appreciate him getting sliced open after the malpractice but then I wanted the same repercussions for Hannibal for letting it hurt my favorite character.)
Red Dragon eating Frederick Chilton’s lips (first of all, haven’t seen it yet. Second of all, that’s Gay. Third, I don’t like Chilton because he’s a little creep but I also like him bc he’s fun to beat up. Can’t put this anywhere else out of fairness.)
Atrocious Aftershave
Social worker in the horse (wtf was this? I literally had to sit and stare off into space for a solid 10 minutes after this episode ended because I couldn’t wrap my head around the beginning of the episode. This one was weird, even for me.)

The one scene in Hannibal where Will had his small hands around Abigail’s throat trying keep her blood in and Hannibal took his place; his hand fitting perfectly around her neck… yeah.

Why is Hannibal such a bitchless loser in s2 but somehow has a wife when Will comes back.
Will shocking Hannibal by showing up at his office unannounced, covered in sweat, apologizing for the intrusion and telling Hannibal that he doesn’t know how he got there.
Hannibal doesn’t care, he thinks Will’s most beautiful when his emotions are raw. Grabs Will by the back of the neck as he watches him nod feverishly when Hannibal asks if it was: “a bad dream..?”.
Hannibal smiling as he rubs his hands down the sides of Will’s head and neck, whispering that he was okay and that he’s there. Feeling ELATED when Will leans his head onto his shoulder as he makes his way through another mild seizure.
Hannibal trying not to sound happy as he talks to Will knowing he will remember his voice and nothing else. Always happy to know a plan is working.
“I’m here. See? No one else. Just me and you.” Grabbing Will’s face in one hand and using the other to cup the back of his neck again and acting as if he’s never even thought of doing such a thing when Will gains consciousness an hour later.
“All better now?” His voice hazy as he watches from his chair as Will’s eyes scanter around the room before leaning forward and brushing his hand against his neck in the pretense of checking his fever.
“You had an episode. Nothing too bad but…nothing is going to hurt you.” He leaned back to rest comfortably in his chair and watched as Will fought to either give in or ignore his blatant manipulation. He knows Will would question why he heard him but doesn’t remember ever leaving his bed. Knows that Will is apprehensive of the situation because he was just feeding his dogs. Know that Will is breaking and needs a constant thing for balance.
“Not with me here…”
Hannibal’s willing to become that constant.
“Will is my friend.” This “Will I’m your friend.” That. We get it Hannibal. This is your first time carrying for another person and it’s so heavy that the only possible explanation you can think of is friendship because no one’s ever shown you the slightest morsel of love yet you find yourself caring about the way this unstable man thinks of you. A feeling so foreign for you that that’s what you think friendship is like even though you have the sneaking suspicion that it’s something more; willing to break the very thing you’ve found yourself needing to breathe in an attempt to understand it.
I’m sorry, Hannibal being all dark, mysterious and scary is so sick but then I see him climbing that stupid little ladder in his study and I can’t.
My own descent into madness was not understanding how people found Mads Mikkelsen attractive, then watching a bunch of videos about him for research purposes, and then ultimately becoming a rabid fangirl
If I ever end up smoking cigarettes, just know that it wasn't me giving into peer pressure, I made that decision all by myself
idc what anyone says this is such a romantic moment like the domesticity is real.
If someone put a blanket on me I'd fall in love, you don't understand the significance of this, the simple act of taking care of someone this way is proof enough that Hannibal loved him so much
there was no reason for Hannibal to be so touchy, he saw an opportunity to be affectionate towards Will, already feeling an immense guilt about what he had done.
and here Hannibal lowering himself, putting himself lower than Will, to show he acknowledged that Will was his equal is so significant like can you hear me screaming

Okey everyone is talking about similarities between inho and hannibal but what with lucas and sangwoo like damn
I think the thing that I've taken away from this panel is that it's okay if you don't like your work because there are people who will love it.
And I didn't take that away because there was any implication that Hugh or Mads disliked the work they did on Hannibal but because they so obviously loved it but even they couldn't remember all the details of the things they loved. Hugh wouldn't stop talking about S1EP2 Amuse-Bouche but he could not for the life of him remember Eldon Stammets' name, and Mads and Hugh had to be reminded of Donald Sutcliffe's name.
And those details of the panel stood out to me because it's like wow I may forget about something I've written or recorded or drawn, but someone somewhere out there, even if it's just one person, probably loved what I made even more than I did and they might've committed parts of my work to memory that I've completely forgotten about or thought were insignificant.
I guess the panel just reminded me how thankful I am for fandom spaces and the fannibal community and just generally people who are kind and uplifting and share what they love with each other.
