I don’t want your future.
I've seen that on ig :
"I think one of my favourite things ever is the fact that before she watched Supernatural, my girlfriend literally thought that the plot was that two angels had fallen from heaven as children, and were found by an old drunk named Bobby who called them Sam and Dean , and chose the name "Winchester" after his favourite gun, then raised them to hunt monsters."
And you know what ?
I'm gonna write it. 🫡
I need it so bad rn
it's max time
It's just an idea I have in my head and I'm really lazy to do anything with it but what if there were a clone that was made out of Erik's and charles dna and they would have there powers combined so tgey have to co parent Idk it might be dumb but you can use it of you like for your fanfiction
Omg that sounds so much like Onslaught !!
Okay so I could totally imagine Erik having a mission with the Brotherhood to destroy a lab and in one of those labs he would find a child, barely older than 6, huddled against the back wall, covering his ears because he can hear everyone’s thoughts.
The child would have Erik’s hair, nose or lips and would have Charles’ eyes and kind smile.
Erik recognizes these eyes directly and think that the child might be Charles’ and that he had been abducted or something and he takes the child with him (the child wouldn’t show resistance because Erik is the only silent mind around him bc of the helmet and it makes me feel better).
Once he arrives at the Mansion, he goes to Charles who is in his office, and is mad to see that Charles doesn’t seem bothered by the disappearance of his child, so he screams at him but Charles is like “Wtf, what kid ?”
Then Charles sees the child and goes in Professor mode, making sure the kid is safe and not scared. After he realizes the child is also a telepath, and a powerful one, them asks him if they have a name, to which the child answers no.
They both get super worried but the child goes around Charles’ office and touches everything, since it’s his first time out of the lab.
Charles then realizes the ressemblance between the kid and Erik and asks who is the mother, to which Erik’s like “well YOU should know” and after arguing they arrive to the conclusion that the kid looks definitely like the both of them.
But they are sure of it the minute they walk into Hank’s lab to ask for a blood test because the child destroyed absolutely everything inside of it, using his metalokinesie that he inherited from Erik.
They both decides that the child must stay at the school, where he will be safe and sound, but Erik can’t leave. He wants to. He needs to. But he can’t. So after talking to Mystique, he decides to stay with the child. Just for a week. Just to help Charles and make sure no one will come for the child.
After a month, it’s clear of every inhabitant of the school that both Erik and the child are here to stay. And every time someone tries to talk about their concerns to Charles, he just says that the child deserves to have both of their fathers in their life.
Okay maybe I went to far lmao, but here’s what I would write with this idea !! Hope you like it <3
x-men: first class, mutant road-trip
Last post after rewatching x men apocalypse
I believe the trauma Charles endured in this movie is severely overlooked.
His first encounter with Erik happened through Cerebro, where he witnessed Erik’s desperate memories and the tragedy that befell him. Charles, as always, was ready to offer love and support, but Erik—broken and consumed by darkness—chose a different path. Given his nature and the betrayals he has faced, his reaction is understandable, though certainly not justified. After all, the very humans he seeks to destroy include his own mother, his wife, and his daughter.
Regardless, instead of turning to a friend, Erik decides to offer a sacrifice on a silver platter—or rather, on Charles’ metal wheelchair—to Apocalypse. He has no idea what the entity intends to do with Charles, but it’s clear that whatever it is, it will only bring him harm.
As for Erik’s betrayal, it wasn’t entirely surprising, but this time, it hit harder because of the circumstances.
Charles wasn’t just collateral damage in Erik’s plans—he was the sacrifice itself. Along with the psychological and physical violation he endured, this made his experience in the film one of the most brutal and impactful, yet it wasn’t given nearly as much focus as it deserved.
Yet despite all of this, Charles does not respond with anger or resentment. He still hopes Erik will see the goodness within himself (which he eventually does—but only after Charles loses his hair, of course! 🧍). But it’s all in vain.
For Charles, even when Erik betrays him, he doesn’t view it as outright treachery. Instead, he sees a broken person making destructive choices due to his pain. That’s why he never truly gives up on him. However, the problem with this level of understanding is that it makes Charles the biggest victim. He’s always the one who gets hurt because he refuses to set boundaries.
( in DOFP charles wasn’t himself)
Anyway!
Apocalypse attacks Charles in the one way he would hate the most—by forcing him to use his powers to manipulate others, stripping them of their free will. In mere seconds, we see just how powerful Charles truly is when Apocalypse compels him to disarm the world and send a global message of terror.
Losing control over himself was the worst thing that could happen to someone like Charles, who built his entire philosophy on free will and choice.
he was desperately resisting. And when he is finally rescued, it is Raven who falls into Apocalypse’s grasp.
Acopalyps calls out, Come Charles!
Tears fill his eyes—he was ready to surrender himself for Raven anyway, saying, He wants me. But the process reveals a terrifying truth: this was never about Charles as an individual. If Apocalypse controls him, he controls the entire world. We can see the tears in his eyes as he realizes this.
And so, Charles is forced to fight again within his own mind—only to lose.
And then, at long last, Uncle Erik decides to step in. (After Charles had already lost his hair, of course! 🧍)
I think people severely underestimate the trauma Charles went through in this film—the violation, the misuse of his power, the betrayal by a friend… I would mention the loss of his hair, but that seems to be the only part everyone actually cares about.( idont blame them though)
It feels like the everyone took Charles’ trauma for granted because he’s always expected to carry burdens without complaint. This is a recurring issue with leader-type or morally grounded characters—they’re expected to be strong, so their personal struggles are often overlooked .
It is frustration that the film / fanfics explores other characters’ trauma in depth that why my post was so long! To talk about it 🙂↔️🤍
And thank you.
The first time I watched this film, my attention was mainly focused on Erik and Peter. It’s strange how much one’s perspective shifts upon rewatching. (It’s still interesting, of course—just not nearly as much as Charles.)
I have like 5 million headcanons for the Hear Me Out au and I can't fit them all into the fic, so here we go, part one of character headcanons:
Charles:
He identifies as queer because he experiences romantic attraction and gender differently than others due to his telepathy (much more fluid). Generally he just uses male terms but he really just doesn't care all that much about pronouns.
he's nearsighted, and wears glasses.
he may not be able to figure out his own life, but he's got great advice for everyone else (and usually it works)
he's kind of been wanting to get his ears pierced for years but he's worried it'll clash with his academia aesthetic
If he's not wearing jumpers and button-ups he owns like five million oversized hoodies in varying colors
he collects converse
He likes classical music and pop and lofi
He just randomly has teabags all the time
Erik (sorry about his face idk what happened):
He generally respects people he'd just rather not talk to them.
Learned to cook and bake from Edie, it's become cathartic for him.
Knows how to paint and draw but will never tell anyone about it. He also makes sculptures from metal when he's bored.
Likes running and working out.
Angel:
Taylor swift girly to Raven's sabrina carpenter obsession (they've got all these records on their walls)
Does yoga and mountain biking
Makeup specialist of the house (since raven can just do it with her powers)
Will sometimes go flying with sean but he makes her nervous a lot because like, what if something happened to his suit?
Haunts the local starbucks
Raven:
Only wears gold jewelry and loves pink
Will kill anyone who hurts her friends (and they'll never find the body)
Has watched the sabrina carpenter christmas special like ten million times
does "natural makeup" tutorials for mutants with all different skin colors. People send her pictures of their mutation and she shifts into them, spends time making the look, and then posts it for them.
Sean:
Started to learn to cook when they all moved in together (just simple foods for now but he's getting better and really enjoys it)
Wayyyyy too much energy at any given moment
Has perfect pitch and is a great singer because of his mutation. He can also play any instrument by ear.
I’m cooking, kids 🤭🤭
Okay hear me out !
A modern AU (still with powers) where Charles and Erik are childhood friends and Charles falls in love with Erik but Erik doesn’t reciprocate because he thinks he’s straight.
BUT every time Charles has a date with another man, or when they are in a pub Erik gets jealous af and they fight about it. (A bit like Raven at the beginning of FC)
Charles doesn’t understand why his friend is behaving like that because he promised to never read his mind.
Then after days of fighting and maybe even silent treatment, Erik just pull Charles into a kiss and realize he is, in fact, not straight and ask him out 🫢🫢
Would people be interested in a fic like that ??
