It's about murder mystery and special powers. The show is is suspenseful, the foreshadowing is insane, the fight scenes are clean as fuck and the soundtrack is AMAZING. There are 2 seasons till now with 12 episodes each. It's brilliant and fabulous. Watch it. Please. Watch it.

Stop Cultural Appropriation and Whitewashing in MiHoYo Games

A petition for Hoyoverse to better respect and stop misrepresenting the cultures of the countries represented in their game !

Hoyoverse has repeatedly taken inspiration from indigenous cultures without proper representation and respect.

In particular, the many characters from Sumeru and Natlan in Genshin Impact, and from Penacony, Sigonia or the space travelers in Honkai Star Rail are all clearly white or only lightly tanned at best, with the exception of some enemy NPCs which has sparked concerns of racism among players and indigenous communities.

Cultural appropriation and whitewashing perpetuate harmful stereotypes and diminish the rich cultural heritage of indigenous communities. These practices not only misrepresent cultures but also contribute to ongoing marginalization and disrespect.

There is a serious lack of correct representation of the world's population, too many white-skinned characters even in countries where living conditions mean that they should have a darker skin. For example, characters living in a desert or jungle, but still have very white skin? That doesn't make sense.

When this petition was created, Hoyoverse had an extremely inappropriate reaction, citing that 'They are just games'. However, these are precisely games that take inspirations from real cultures...
