Are you feeling the 90s energy yet?
Superboy #1 (1994)
Have you seen that one episode of TTG…? yeah this is that!
This is old art, but i have a problem with finishing anything, ever, so honestly unless anything i post is particularly popular and i feel motivated to finish it,,, shrug.
I was going to come back to this before posting it, but the more i looked at it, the more i found i needed to fix, and i get bored redoing stuff all the time :/ but i was really proud of this when i did it, and past me would want present me to post it probably.
(But people supporting my blog is a big motivator — it feels like i’m creating with purpose! So i appreciate any and all interaction)
Also i know this is not tim drake or yj related but idk, it’s close enough
tim seems like the type of guy who is like sleep is for the weak and then sleeps for a week
i genuinely almost had a breakdown bc i thought you were going to tell me it wasn't grammatically correct or something
NB: this is a fan blog for spelling and grammar now sorry Tim Drake, i know he would be happy for me though🙂↕️
@lucifers-favorite-child @vinelark
I saw a thing about Tim making a game out of the number of people who want to kill him and I just-
Imagine
The core 4 have a tally board. It's stuck to the wall in the kitchen. The board is separated into 8 sections with their names each on it twice. They're playing 2 games at the moment.
In the first game they mark a tally under their name for every person who either wants to kill them, or wishes extreme ill will upon them. Tim's section has significantly more tally marks than the others, having inherited most of Batman and Nightwing's previous enemies when he took up the mantel. Though over the years the other three have gained their fair share of enemies too. Their tally counts were nothing to scoff at.
The second game they were playing was counting the murder/assassination attempts against them individually. Again, Tim's count was significantly higher because Gotham.
(There is a smaller tally board in the common room keeping track of their collective near death experiences.)
This is a perfectly normal game to them, they'd been playing it for years! However, after surviving an assassination attempt on an independent mission they realize it is perhaps not normal behavior to celebrate the attempt, by screeching "this murder tally's gonna put me in the lead!" and immediately calling whoever's at base so they could add it to the board.
They originally turned it into a game because laughing about it made it less scary, they were so young.
I love the trope where Tim jump scares people by reminding them he’s Janet Drake’s son.
*Robin stopping yj right inside of Gotham’s borders and not letting them into the rest of the city*
Cassie: “wait why can’t we go into gotham anymore!?”
Robin: “i- eh.. the meta rule!”
Bart: “we’ve been in gotham before, and you were the one to sneak us in! That is not a good excuse”
Anita: “yeahhh what’s the real reason?”
Robin: “well um. You guys have seen my face…”
Kon: “so what Rob? It’s not like the second we go into the city we’re gonna run into a giant billboard with your face and secret identity plastered on it!!!”
Robin glancing behind them:
Robin: “………..”
cute!
