Just started our new campaign! Set 60 years after our last one ended, it’s a plucky group of newbies joining the Adventurer’s Guild. Can’t wait to see what shenanigans await!
Meet my new character, the level 2 monk Ava Sedroba!
I love her to bits already
This past Monday, I am delighted to declare that my Dungeons and Dragons group finished our first campaign this past Monday! This is the first campaign I ever played, and I had a blast all the way through.
In honor of the occasion, here is my deep gnome ranger/rogue Tovyn Turra and both the first and the last character art I drew of him.
Level 3 Swarmkeeper Ranger
Level 8 Swarmkeeper Ranger / Level 3 Inquisitive Rogue
Loved ya, you grumpy little dude
blue beetle II, aka theodore "ted" kord, was created by steve ditko and first appeared as a backup feature in 1966 in charlton comics' captain atom series. he later got his own short-lived solo, before the charlton heroes were acquired by DC in the mid-80s and integrated into the DC universe via the crisis on infinite earths crossover event. ted had a solo run in the 80s, but is perhaps best known for being a central and founding member of the justice league international, where he met his lifelong best friend booster gold.
booster gold, aka michael jon carter, was created by dan jurgens and first appeared in his 1986 solo series as the first new major character introduced to the post-crisis DC universe. booster soon joined the justice league international, and has since had two really good solos and featured prominently in 52. he's most well known as the fame-hungry time-travelling hero with a heart of gold, as well as the blue beetle's best friend.
together, they're known for being fun-loving heroes, the personification of the 'bwa-ha-ha' era of the justice league, and one of the best friendships in the DC universe.
i've compiled a catalogue of every single comic appearance of both of these characters, as well as highlighting what i consider 'essential' blue & gold reading. each issue is also marked with whether they're both in it, whether/to what degree they interact, content warnings, and my own personal notes (some of which might even be useful to people other than me).
read it, use it, share it with your friends, and please enjoy!
The dynamic in Rise between the rest of the team and Leo is. so fucking funny. Because like you've got these three extremely talented individuals who all seem like perfectly reasonable people at first glance, right, but then if you squint hard enough you realize they're actually all batshit insane (affectionate) and the clown boy standing behind them is secretly their common sense.
Clown boy will occasionally put himself and the others in danger to Prove Himself or Prove Someone Wrong (see Minotaur Maze and the movie) but like otherwise... i think people forget Leo's overwhelmingly the voice of reason in most situations?
Raph, Mikey, and Donnie are all incredibly powerful boys with very specific skill sets. They are also, as a direct result of this, the WORST decision-makers on god's green earth lmao. When presented with a problem, Raph will smash, Donnie will blow shit up, and Mikey will razzmatazz. They will all run straight toward death with the same oblivious enthusiasm of a dog about to run straight into a screen door. None of them realize this and all of them think they are Extremely Good At Problem-Solving.
And the guy cursed with the common sense to realize this is literally the LAST person anyone would expect.
When you look closely, the entirety of Rise is actually a chronicle of Leo trying to find new and creative ways to keep this team of superpowered fools alive while simultaneously white-knuckling his Cool Fun Guy persona so the others don't realize he's secretly the Boring Responsible One. Haha, you know what would be Cool and Fun, guys? Not going after the Spine Breaking Bandit lol. Getting home before the sun goes up lol. Evacuating that civilian lol. Not telling the guy dangling me off a roof "you won't, no balls" lol.
The sacred struggle of every iteration of Leonardo is thanklessly wrangling the most trigger-happy siblings in the world, and Rise Leo has not escaped it. He just does an occasional shenanigan to avoid detection and his brothers fall for it every time.
"Shinichi Kudo is sure lucky, isn't it? He has everything: friends, family, passion to fulfill his dreams as a famous detective...his identity.
He's unaware of how the world is not always black and white, that there's always a shadow behind the light. He is unaware that someday, his unconcerned attitude over the concept of danger would bite him.
If only he never let his undying curiosity get the best of him, he could still be having the life he ever wanted. Sadly, he had paid the price for knowing too much.
Now, as Conan Edogawa, I got the price of his mistakes. I woke up and grew up a brain, as I had lost everything...because Shinichi had been pulled in the darkness that he had innocently tried to eliminate for the sake of his stupid detective dream."

I used to enjoy Pokemon games a lot, but lately some of the newer entries have been kinda controversial due a variety of issues.
But instead of focusing on that, i'm here to bring you back to the past to the Nintendo DS era of Pokemon, where many (myself included) would say that the quality and care of the series was at it's peak!
Games included in this collection:
EVERYONE IS HERE!! Every single Pokemon game released for the Nintendo DS is featured in this pack. Two emulators are included in the set, just download and play

Do you ever see something and just go, “Damn, that’s really neat” for no discernible reason?
So anyway, here’s this bug

so if you're secretly a cop and he's secretly a cop and i'm also secretly a cop, then what's with the grade schooler running around our ankles exposing us?

in light of recent events as well as a new rise in creating nazi ocs I think this post is an important one to have on your blog if you stand behind your jewish followers or are jewish yourself.
reigen isnt a dangerous foe because he has excellent people skills or versatility in a debate hes a dangerous foe because he runs off the bugs bunny rule. sure he does actually have good people skills and holds his own in a debate but every technique that reigen has pulled out of his ass has only landed because it was fucking funny . reigen was able to roll up to tochirou and shoot him with a fucking gun because it was the funniest shit he could pull at that moment. everything's possible if its funny and that man is about to be the funniest man on the planet
anyway here are all my “how did molly figure out he has blood hunter abilities” ideas
the obvious: he’s a sword juggler he had to have cut himself on accident at some point and then accidentally did a blood maledict on a nearby yasha or something
he got into a fight and muscle memory/instincts leftover from lucien took over
at some point he was like “whoever had this body before me had to have gotten all these scars for some reason” and activated his swords out of sheer curiosity
the best option: he was getting one of his tattoos and the artist drew blood and was also going over a painful spot and he freaked out and put Blood Curse of the Eyeless™ on them
