En la cultura de milenio, todo es instantáneo, la gratificación es instantánea, y supongo que eso tiene que ver con lo instantáneo del post, de sólo copiar y pegar, en un instante. Asi, si escojo un post con millones de likes, de alguna forma me hago famoso por escoger algo de otro, con otro, y aseguro mi vistosidad. 

Todos vemos cosas distintas, todos vemos siempre lo mismo, y lo que vemos nos define absolutamente. Y amamos instintivamente a los que ven lo mismo que nosotros, y les reconocemos al instante. Coloca a un hombre en medio de una calle y pregúntale «¿Qué ves?» Y en su respuesta estará todo.

You Inspire Me: To Writing Groups Who Become True Friends

Writing isn’t as solitary a pursuit as many think. Inspiration comes in many forms, but most often, it comes in the shape of people. All month long, we’re asking writers to write a Not-So-Secret-Admirer’s Note to the people who’ve inspired them to take up the pen. Today, participant Suzanne Shaw celebrates her writing group:

Dear Colleen, Kay, Niki, Teresa, and Traci,

Yes, my wild, inspired sisters—you are the reason I am able to write, not just reclusively as writers must, but also as part of a small but vibrant writing community. Aren’t I lucky to have this opportunity to write out loud about what a difference you have made in my life! 

How could we have imagined when we first met at Hedgebrook, a retreat for women writers in Washington state, that we would still be in almost daily contact over a year later? We were together in a historical fiction master class for only a week, learning from the phenomenal Deborah Harkness and reveling in Whidbey Island’s magic. Although Hedgebrook and its dedicated staff remain close to my heart, you are the gift that keeps on giving. Even now that we are scattered from the West Coast of the US to Germany, thanks to technology we are there for each other almost every day, and sometimes even in the middle of the night.

What we have in common connects us — our obsession with historical fiction, alternating fascination and frustration with the writing process, and a passion for red wine with salt and pepper potato chips. I have seen most of you at least once in the intervening year and I cherish those times, too. Only with true friends can you meet and take up the conversation again without missing a beat. And what conversations! Encouragement, sympathy, understanding, humor — each of you has these things in abundance and shares them unquestioningly.

Thanks for always being there, convincing me I can succeed, and cheering me over all the hurdles. Maybe I could do it alone, but I’m glad I don’t have to try.

‘BUENO BUENO QUIEN HABLA’;  Quizá el siglo XXI vaya a ser reconocido, como el siglo, donde las nuevas comunicaciones y los medios sociales sustituyeron al emisor, al hablante, al humano, a la persona, y entonces ya las personas no hablan, sino emiten mensajes pictóricos que suplantan a la palabra, o fotografías posteadas que avalan ideas, o esbozos de ideas en un post que insinúan conductas, o discursos de otros personajes, bajo seudónimos, alias, avatares, Poncios y Pílatos, barajas y cartas, pero el ser humano real es suprimido de la conversación real, porque no quiere asumir la responsabilidad de un discurso, no quiere asumir el “yo esto dije” como manera de ejercer responsable la libertad de expresión, y esconderse mejor, bajo los alias, bajo las cartas, sin recibir la responsabilidad del recibir aprobación o rechazo. 

“BUENO BUENO QUIEN HABLA’ para recordarnos que es el sujeto, verbo y predicado de la oración, los elementos de toda palabra que intenta comunicar un mensaje. Y esto esta siempre presente en todos los lenguajes español, ingles, italiano, francés, porque el sujeto, quiere decir el que habla (no dibujos, no quotes, no pictografías, no palabras de otro) sino es el sujeto el que habla para determinar una acción “Juan corre en el campo” dice que es Juan, un nombre personal desarrolla una acción: pero si se pone una foto de un hombre corriendo en un campo, quien dijo que corre en el campo? La pictografia, o la fotografía no suplanta al sujeto! 

Las nuevas tecnologias de comunicación están suplantando al SUJETO DE LA ORACION, y el  SUJETO DE LA ORACION esta siendo suprimido por Alias, seudónimos, fake names, avatares, cartas y barajas, que traspasan mensajes de otros (no personales, con propia voz) con posts de otros, con ideas de otros y si la comunicación entre los seres humanos es a veces difícil de comprender, sera mas difícil de comprender con las CORTINAS DE HUMO y con personajes y avatares ficticios que comprometen, dificultan todavía mas, la buena comprensión del oyente, que es nuestro objetivo principal de toda comunicación seria.

 “BUENO BUENO QUIEN HABLA’ para recordarnos que debe haber un sujeto real, que emite un mensaje real, avalado por una presencia real y cuyo mensaje dirige a otro ser humano en una disposición de entender, para comunicarse mejor.

Espacio Personal

Es este espacio, algo personal. Esta disenado para alguno que otro loco, entre familiares, parientes, excompaneros de clase y amigos. Tiene este espacio, alguno que otro detalle (como los buenos regalos que se envuelven en navidad) e intentan transmitir buena vibra, sentimientos a veces encontrados, emociones a flor de piel, situaciones que se intentan condensar para narrar, para transmitir, para transportar al escucha a una serie de contenidos que pretenden tocarlos, acerca de la naturaleza humana. Con arte, con delicadeza, con tino, con armonia, con belleza en su formas. Es como un desvan, donde se guardan las cosas apreciadas por el tiempo, para su utilizacion en un futuro cercano. Entre las experiencias vicarias, personales, ajenas, blogueros de tumblr y amigos, se construye la materia prima de sus contenidos, esperando siempre que sean del agrado de aquellos que entran a estos espacios perdidos.
