obsessed with sketchup. its so easy to use, theres a free version, i use it for work every day. but it can be so stupid sometimes. like, when you export your screen as an image. the size of the image depends on your physical screen size. as soon as you change monitors, the image size changes. this is very annoying when scale is something relevant to your work - im sure artists find it difficult, but as an architect its REALLY annoying. and yes, you can change the image size in settings (better hope you remember what your original image size was!) but you cant change the ratio in settings. meaning you cant decide individually how tall and how wide the image should be. you do THAT by manually inching the properties side bar with your mouse pixel by pixel and hoping you land on the right one.

i love sketchup anyway tho

Reminder that Project 2025 is a thing; basically, if a Republican presidential candidate is elected next year, they have every intention of instating a full-on fascist government. Among many other horrible things, Project 2025 intends to criminalize anything trans-related as pornographic, and imprison anyone putting out such "pornography."

We really, really gotta do whatever we can to make sure a Republican candidate isn't elected. I know we're probably gonna be faced with shitty choices yet again (and how I wish it wasn't so), but we cannot afford to let this happen.
