i know why you still wake up in your "cr"
this is not aggressive shifting motivation or criticising your self-concept/methods. i have a theory.
if there is no mistake in shifting why do we keep waking up in this reality?
creating a reality is the most basic thing your consciousnesses does. when you go to sleep you'll have expectations about this reality so you'll keep waking up here. you have plans, worries, goals, things that make you want to stay in this reality. because you are curious about the future. plus you don't know otherwise if you never heard about shifting. that's a routine (you can still shift too btw)
so when you command your consciousness to create a reality and make it physical for your senses, why it's not happening?
i am 100% sure there is no mistake in shifting. you shift in the moment. then why it doesn't project on physical plane? i believe your consciousness may take "shifting" as something associated to your current reality. when you are about to wake up and started to open your eyes, your consciousness may choose to make your cr physical because you have a desire/passion/goal in your cr, which is shifting.
consciousness: what reality should i make physical? oh previous reality because i had things to do in there. a goal: i will shift. i have methods because i want to shift. i will try to shift again so i need to wake up in my previous reality.
for your consciousness "being shifted on your cr > waking up in your dr"
i don't have anything else to say. it's not new or groundbreaking info. this is most basic logic of a consciousness i think.

Okay, granted, not everyone has this problem - but a lot of people carry around this little assumption and expectation to wake up in their current reality again. No matter what they do. You've got your script ready. Your method is comfy and your chosen subliminal slaps. You feel ready and everything is in place. But deep down? Deep down you prepare yourself for your alarm in the morning. Prepare yourself for the same room, the same body, the same boring reality trot. It's like saying to the universe "Surprise me!", but also slipping in a quiet note saying "Please don't. Just copy yesterday". It's not new knowledge that your subconscious is running the show behind the scenes. But what we sometimes forget is that our subconscious picks its believes from us... from our habits, patterns, the things we repeat over and over again, even the ones we are not fully aware of. And since most of us are raised in a world that values logic, linear thinking, the "you only live once" mentality, it's no surprise some of us struggle with seeing any other reality as "just as real". Not your fault, it's just conditioning doing its work. Shifting goes basically against everything you have been taught to expect, so it can feel hard to rewire that believe on the go. You are a bit like a Roomba - just doing your little routines, bumping into some unexpected furniture on your usual way, programmed by years and years of subconscious patterns and habits. Cute, but kinda confused a lot. Doesn't mean you are broken, just shows you are human. What you can do is trying to catch that thought, the expectation of waking up here, before it starts to settle in again. Don't just say "I hope I shift". Hope is passive. Try something like: "I believe it's possible to shift" "I expect to shift" "My CR isn't the default. My DR can be the default too." You subconscious learns best from repetition, dominant believes and a sense of familiarity. So start feeding it those things, instead of doubt disguised as fickle believe. Once you start treating your DR as absolutely inevitable, it becomes harder for your brain to argue with that over time. You're not failing, just learning. And every single time you turn those pesky little thoughts in more productive ones, you are rewiring your believes. That's not small, that is huge! That is taking your power back from just letting things happen. You are basically standing in the doorway to your DR, you just need to find your way to step into it.

because what. BECAUSE WHAT??? BECAUSE YOU CANT COMPREHEND THAT THERE ARE OTHER REALITIES OUT THERE???

Idk if I've talked about this before, but I saw someone post about why people who have been trying to shift for so long might not be shifting (this might not apply to everyone, but it really clicked with me). They only explained why, so I'm gonna talk about the solution I came up with.
They specifically said that it was not tough love, but psychological facts: it's possible that your mind registers shifting as a goal in THIS reality.
Think about that for a second. This is the part that really got me when I started to think about it. When you are here, in your CR, your goal is to shift, right? So what if our minds interprets that as a goal IN THIS REALITY, as simple as going to bed thinking "oh, I'm going to unload the dishwasher in the morning." Because shifting is just aligning with your DR self, and guess what?? Your goal in your DR is not to shift! That blew up my brain a little bit.
"But i want to shift" you know how everyone keeps saying "you are already in your DR"? I interpreted that for so long as motivation. It's not. It's the process. To align with your DR self, just like aligning with another person in your CR you have to have the same goals.
So your goal is no longer to shift. Stop thinking like that. Your goal IS NOT TO SHIFT. Waking up where you are meant to has never been a goal, but an expectation. Your goal is to wake up and go downstairs to have breakfast with your DR friends or family. Your goal is to wake up and get to class on time to ace that Defence Against The Dark Arts quiz you totally forgot to study for until the night before. Your goal is to wake up and win that Oscar, to break that curse, destroy the One Ring, you fucking name it babes.
I don't know if this is really dumb and obvious, but it wasn't for me before, so I really hope this post helps someone else too.

shifting is supposed to be fun, so protect your heart, make those precautions and feel, the texture of your table, of your clothes, remember that your dr is exactly like that
take a moment, a breath, feel your cr then change that, take away the texture of wherever your sitting and it make it your dr. change the consistency of your clothes, change the scent of the air, change how your heart feels, deep down, feel that you are there and you will be.
