crazy how fanfic authors drop the most beautiful and gorgeous pieces of work ever, leaving you speechless and sobbing at three in the morning as you quietly contemplate the masterpiece you just read
and they don’t get paid for it they just do it because they’re having fun and they want to share their joy with you
like I would literally die for all of you fanfic authors out there reblog to swear your allegiance to fanfic authors
this may be my favorite turn i've ever had (i still lost)
I don't give a fuck if you hate Biden, but remember if T***p gets elected again, we will be going back to where abortions are illegal, LGBTQIA+ people have no rights, more hate, more police killing people, and tons of other shitty things
I don't care what you think about Biden, we just can't have the orange douchebag in the white house again
the pilot for Pieces of Powder hit my yt recommended today and it absouletely floored me. the artstyle is wonderful, the animation is super well done, the voices are fantastic, it's beautiful in really almost every way. the dynamic between Powder and Marcy was so cute they fit eachother so well
i fixate on things easily but i can't remember the last time anything, especially an indie project, made me feel like this
powder is just like me -- the overthinking, hating the "get to know people" projects, etc. -- and i'm genuinely happy she has someone to gel with
10/10 please go watch if you haven't already
The beast is weakened...
Wuh oh wuh oh sick alert
yeah but then i pose a risk of my parents coming home and seeing me do nothing... will save this advice for when that's not an issue anymore though
im so serious about this but if youre autistic and especially if youre chronically ill creative labour cannot be your only way to relax. working on a creative project is still working. take time to do nothing. its good for you i promise.
here's the newest in the steaming batch of revelations about Google AI: it doesn't understand the concept of time
genuinely one of the worst things that’s happened to television in the last few years (exacerbated by streaming services) is death of Filler. going from 20 episodes to 8 because “we didn’t really need that episode where the main characters went to the beach right? it had no long lasting effect” but we DID!!! we needed to see how they act without the Big Bad Plot and to establish the dynamics between the characters and lay in the sun (do they forget sunscreen? how do they react to a thieving seagull? do they get buried in the sand or do they do the burying?). the plot isn’t everything. the action doesn’t hit as hard without the quiet moments. give us character development and our little scenes back
just finished Indigo Disk and man i can't believe the power of friendship got me twice in one Pokémon game
my sweet sweet doofus children just bawling their eyes out, learning kieran pushed himself to the point of emptiness all because he looked up to us, the ending cutscene with the friends bit and possibly the happiest kieran yet, man this dlc broke me in a good way
Scarlet & Violet might possibly be the most fragile switch games ever (honestly $95 per game+dlc is probably double its actual worth from a technical standpoint) but i'll be damned if these games don't have the actual best writing in the series and i am so excited for the actual official release of Mochi Mayhem (already seen it from a yt video but god damn i'm excited to play it for real, maybe they'll add some stuff in between now and the 11th)
