The reapings are rigged, not in the sense to punish specific people but to show that no one is safe. From what we know 12's tributes from the 73rd are two kids from the poorer side of 12. Compared to the tributes reaped in the 74th; two kids that are from the richer side (ik that prim technically isnt but she is known to hang around there a lot and from looks she is the from richer side and other districts/the capitol wont understand the class divide in 12). I think they pick specific people to make sure the game is interesting (hence why so many young kids get reaped despite the odds).

And obviously the 75ths was rigged genuinely theres no way that that game was a fair realing...

i wonder when like mania turns 10 or something will people be more loving towards her..

I always think about how a HUGE amount of hate for Fall Out Boy comes from homophobia and racism in the early 2000s. Like you look at old chatroom shit where people talk about why they don't like Fall Out Boy, most of what you see is "cuz Pete Wentz is gay". A lot of criticism for their music was (not explicitly, but pretty easy to extrapolate) about how they mixed punk with other, predominately black genres. IMO most modern hate for them is because people know we used to hate them but can't remember why, so they just go with it. Obviously people aren't obligated to like certain music if it isn't their thing, but I know damn well half of their discography would be ADORED today if people actually bothered to listen. The amount of people who I've shown old FOB music to who were surprised that they actually liked it? They have been done sooo damn dirty, give these boys the legacy they deserve.

The thing that makes the early fall out boy dynamic so compelling was that you had 18 year old patrick stump reaching his bullshit limit almost daily and trying to do his bassist genuine physical harm in retaliation while pete wentz seemed to be going haha look how cute he gets when he's mad <3 I should pee in his laundry again and see what he does <3 and Joe and Andy had to live in a van with them

fall out boy is one of the greatest bands of all time if you think about it…
