Season One

First time using Tumblr! I like making comics and am currently working on a prequel to my Undertale AU (UnderAnger... Yes, it's a bad name.) called Before the Anger (Not much more creative). All of that is on Webtoon btw.

Ngl I'm kinda intimidated by Tumblr but it seemed fun so I downloaded it!

Before the Anger- episode 38, "That one Crybaby at the Store"

Lots of child psychology in this one! Side note- Sans is afraid of heights. Doesn't add much to the story but if you look at him in some UnderAnger panels, you can tell he is scared lol. He doesn't say anything about it, though. I LOVE PSYCHOLOGY!!!!

This episode was posted on my birthday! Congrats to myself for living this long :)

((One day, Elaine had come back from royal guard training with the question burning in her mind. She mustered her courage and asked, “Papyrus, why did you… quit?” He was sitting on the couch and slowly turned to face her, like he was expecting this. He sighed, “I assume they’ve taught you all about the Goddess?” Elaine raised her eyebrows. This was not the answer she’d expected.))

Actually, this side story has some spoilers for Under Anger: Secret Ending! I haven't got to the whole "Goddess" thing yet over there. This is some exclusive content y'all are getting 😎

I just read all of BTA and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

I love how you portray Alphys, and I love Siqua and the others as well! (funk Gaster tho) Their interactions are so fun to read.

The story is so interesting too and the art style is awesome. Keep up the good work!! ♡

Before the Anger, episode 4- "Yikes! Tomatoes"

note- I enjoy titling my episodes in a nonsensical fashion. Don't mind it.

Although these are old archives from my Webtoon, don't think you're getting the short end of the stick! There are actually a handful of mistakes that slipped by in some of my Webtoon episodes that I am able to fix when I post on here. For example, in one of the upcoming eps, I forgot to make Gaster's right eye bad and fixed it for Tumblr :)

Hey, look, it's baby Papyrus! From Before the Anger!

He's about one year old, and this picture is when he learns the word "hate".

Guys, the echo flower is a reference to the whole flowey thing in UT. Idk if I'm gonna add that plotline in BTA because idk if it'd work in my timeline... But you get a reference instead! Isn't that just as good...?

We have yet to get to the whole baby Papyrus plot in BTA. It's gonna take a while, unfortunately. That's the downside of having the story slowly unfold... Its slow.

Before the Anger profile: ASGORE

Age: 40 years old. 

Personality: a gentle giant.

Favorite and/or signature color: royal magenta.

Likes: Toriel, gardening, and his employees- all of them. He has no favorites. 

Dislikes: murder and humans.

Description: Asgore is Alphys’s kind-hearted boss. Although his stature is intimidating, his personality is cheerful and warm. He is a hopeless romantic, similar to Alphys, and hopes to one day meet Toriel again. However, Asgore is a very troubled man. He is despaired at his kingdom’s state and that his subjects have enforced a “kill-or-be-killed” ideology.

Before the Anger- episode 34, "...No. (pt. 1)"

Does this episode look different to you? If so, you are right. This was actually the first episode I ever made of BTA. I was testing the comic style and didn't think how much my style would change. So it's a bit odd, but I tried my best to edit it so its less jarring.

((Seeing as the conversion was finished, Elaine started to leave, but was stopped by Undyne. “Wait,” she said, “I need a name to refer to you as.” Elaine made a dreadful sigh, knowing this question would come up. “Legally? ‘Elaine’. But nobody has ever called me that before.”

“So what do they call you?” Undyne asked. Elaine shook her head and started a list, “Kid, Armless, Trippy, little Jailbird… really anything you can think of. It was the same with my mom and sister. I never even learned what their real names were.” Undyne tilted her head, shocked, “What a strange tradition. What about you? What do you WANT to be called?”))

A double decker for today's side story! This one is almost over. Afterwards, we'll start a new side story (in my opinion, a much cooler one)

Traditional art?? From Bri Jo??? Well, there's a first for everything (aka I was bored)

Yes, spoiler character is blurred.

I drew Sans, Papyrus, and Undyne as infants/ toddlers. They are very fun to draw: I love Undyne's tiny pigtails, Sans's huge eyes, and Papyrus's huge boots.

I will not give any context or elaborate further, to avoid saying too much 😅 (good luck trying to read my handwriting, friends...)

Before the Anger profile: GASTER

Age: 30 years old. 

Personality: an apathetic, cynical old man. Except he’s not old.

Favorite and/or signature color: grey.

Likes: revenge. And also science… kinda.

Hates: humans, Alphys, loud sounds, children, color, puns, bad grammar, etc.

Description: Gaster is Alphys’s only enemy. He is rude, sarcastic, and the overall foil to Alphys. He is a no-nonsense, realistic, cold person, which extends to his views on pacifism; he believes pacifism is a pipe dream in a kill-or-be-killed world.
