Everyone is drawing BhA love children and I’m loving it- so I decided to draw tododeku love child. Don’t ask any specific questions about him or how he was conceived- I haven’t thought that far ahead lol don’t even know if I’ll draw him again but I really wanted to to draw some domestic tododeku

A continuation of my hogwarts and my hero academia crossover. This time I’ve drawn kirishima and bakugou and fight me if you don’t think both of them are in the gryffindor house.

I had a lot of fun with this piece- all inspired by a tree.... I kid you not XD

Rewatching fullmetal alchemist- my god it’s such a great anime. So many life lessons learned from that series

I finally came up with a kiribaku print that I can now sell at Otakuthon lol. Just took about 2 months to do so. I really like this piece and I think it has a lot to do with the cartoony and simple colouring job I think in the future I’ll go back to this style- it’s really fun 😊

Let’s participate in tododeku week she said..... let’s make detailed and coloured pieces she said..... woohoo my first time participating in a ship week, don’t know how this will go but I’m going to try my hardest to draw each prompt. Day 1- warmth.... no real story. Maybe midoriya was in a life threatening fight and was injured. Todoroki comes back from over seas immediately and visits midoriya in the hospital. To his surprise the little shit is up and walking around and when he sees todoroki his smile lights the room and todoroki only has about two seconds to prepare himself before his arms are full of midoriya. I feel like the warmest place is in someone else’s arms 😊

Firstly, a disclaimer: I’m no expert. Everything is based on personal experience and what I’ve learnt from other people and tutorials. It might not even work for you but I hope you gain something at least for your own art!

Choosing colours can be a conscious decision but with heaps of practice it eventually becomes intuitive. Have no fear, experiment and have fun!

Why hello there everyone it’s been awhile … My excuse is good this time.. I GOT A TABLE AT OTAKUTHON!!!!! It’s one of the biggest anime conventions in canada and I got a table.... I’m freaking out and not ready ahaha especially since I leave for a while month this summer… I’m fucked Anyways I’m making some new prints and I decided I wanted to draw the d. Gray man boys I’m just not sure which one I like more. I kind of like the simple background one but idk. What do you guys thing?

Hi! Was wondering if it’s okay to ask what your coloring process work (you know from start to finish)? Also your art has this soft sort of glow that’s really pretty and I’d love to know how you do that? You don’t have to do it if you’re busy hope you have a good day❤️

Truth be told, I don’t really have a fixed coloring process as I’ll often experiment and most of the time just roll with whatever I need at the moment (trying to follow a process is just counter-productive to me), but I do have some sort of base:

Mine: Standard Art Process • Lineless Art Process • Picking Colors • My Brushes • Lineart Pencil • Blending/Watercolor

The Ochako gif is your friend about how I do my coloring, but just in case the most important thing is I never use a flat tone, no matter how subtle the color blending/gradient is:

I really don’t know what is the “soft glowing” tbh ^^’ could be visual result of the color blending, a luminosity layer, a screen layer or just some very soft touch of a light color over the final piece.

Rec posts: Bri’s explanation on picking Colors • Basic Glow Effect SAI < not so complete, but covers the basic of the luminosity layer, I’ll add that you can use a hard light layer (use any rough/strong brush for the highlights) under the blurred one (any soft brush or blur tool over a hard brush works, just mind the pressure/intensity)

Fun Resource: Paletton! - To clarify, I don’t use it, but I think it could help your eyes get the idea of which colors could go well together, plus it’s fun to mess around and fall in love with some palettes.

Working on button deigns for conventions!- Not sure if I’m going to keep this colouring style or not, might explore a little more with my style- but I’m definitely keeping the poses. What other characters should I draw? And what other series would you guys like me to design buttons for? I have Voltron, supernatural, one piece, FMA and Naruto but I’m wondering if you guys would like to see something else!
