Things you can do to help someone while they're in psychosis in a psych ward:

Bring them necessities like soap and clothing and good toothbrushes. After being forced into gowns for a while it's really nice to be able to wear something personal and comfy. It's also nice to take care of yourself when coming back to reality. When realizing you haven't washed in ages a good shower is beyond awesome

Bring things to distract them like books and magazines that suit their interests. Hospitals can be incredibly boring. They can also most certainly feel like jail. It's brutal sometimes. These places have the bare minimum and any little bit of this helps a lot

Visit to show moral support even when they can't communicate or keep their eyes open from sedation. Physical company helps a lot of the time

Accompany them for walks when permitted. Feeling the wind or seeing trees or stars after being unable to for a long time is priceless

Keep them company by calling them after visiting hours end

Gift them coffee or comfort food. They can be big sources of endorphins. Something yummy will always be yummy no matter how detached from the world you get... provided things like delusions don't get in the way

Remain calm if they lose their composure. It personally tended to help me ground myself or lessen the panic I was having. People who were reactionary to me in a negative way defeated the purpose of being around me at the time

Show good vibes. When living a mental nightmare this can help improve state of mind or even delusions and hallucinations. Like even a smile can help tons ngl

Keep patient and don't take things personally. I had my own mother and doctors yelling at me because I wasn't acting the way they liked and it made things so so much worse

Understand that someone unwell might have a long grueling road of recovery ahead of them. Best thing to do is accept them regardless of what occurs

Advocate for their personal needs such as dietary preferences

This of course is all dependent on what's allowed at the psych ward

DPxDC Prompt where, for whatever reason, Danny enters Wayne Manor. Maybe for a gala, maybe while actually following a bat back to the cave. In any case-- how he enters the manor isn't quite as important as how he leaves it.

There are protections and wards around the Batcave and Wayne Manor, and, due to his halfa status, Danny can interact… strangely with these wards. There is one ward in particular that allows him to enter the premises with no issues, but, well-- He hasn't been able to leave now. And it's kind of a problem.

Danny has now been squatting in the manor for several days, trying to think up a plan.

Y'know what Danny Phantom really missed an opportunity to have one of the characters say "I'll do X when pigs fly" and then just have them stare in silence as a ghost pig immediately floats across the background and then look at the camera and really cheerfully go "sold!"

The first time the JL meets one of the batfam it’s when they walk into the tower for a meeting and find Batman passed out asleep in a chair and a young man in a black and blue suit drawing a mustache on him.

Their jaws drop. They know Batman doesn't kill but they're pretty sure they're going to witness a murder when he wakes up.

The man hears them come in and straightens up and tosses the marker behind him. "Hello."

The JL isn't really sure how to react as they shuffle in, but the noise wakes Batman up.

Everybody's staring at him and his mustache but he doesn't notice at first and everybody's wondering if they should say something. The young man winks and makes a shushing gesture.

"This is Nightwing. I brought him in because he's relevant to one of our cases. He will not be staying long."

Everybody hesitantly takes their seat. Batman tries to start the meeting, but they're still staring. "What? What are you all staring at?"

Nobody speaks but Superman pulls out his phone, turns the camera on selfie mode and silently hands it over.

Batman stares at his face for a few seconds, jaw grinding.

This is it. Everybody's sure shit's about to go down.

But Batman just takes in a long, deep breath. "Nightwing."

Nightwing just kicks back, putting his feet up on the table. "This is your fault, you know. You wouldn't've passed out like that if you hadn't stayed up for 3 days straight and made yourself vulnerable."

Batman is silent for a minute, clearly trying to contain his anger.

"This better not be sharpie."

Nightwing just shrugs his shoulders. "Guess you’ll just have to find out," he says cheerily.

The JL waits for more, for some kind of reaction but Batman just takes a few deep breaths, threatens that if anyone comments on the mustache they will not like the consequences, then carries on with the meeting.

The JL is baffled, sure that if one of them had tried that they'd be dead by now.
