i think the rest of the bats probably forget that Tim actually has a full time job. like an important one. they probably text him all the time like ‘wanna help me with this case’ and Tim’s like ‘can’t sorry I’m in Germany for the next 3 days’ and then all the kids are talking for the next week like ‘wow Tim’s probably in some deep shit with this international case he’s working. can’t imagine what he’s dealing with rn’ and then the week after Tim’s at the manor for dinner and Dick’s like ‘so tell us all the gory details of the case in Germany!’ and Tim just looks at him lost.
‘what case’
‘the reason you had to go undercover in Germany and couldn’t join me and Jason’s stakeout!’
‘i never said i was undercover’
‘why the fuck else would you go to Germany?’
‘business convention’
‘…’
‘…i had to give a seminar- you guys know im a CEO right?’
‘well BRUCE never had to travel when HE ran the company-‘
‘BECAUSE BRUCE WAS SHIT AT HIS JOB THATS WHY A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD HAD TO TAKE OVER’
and Bruce is sat at the end of the table just slightly offended.
Stupid thing I thought of drawing ages ago when I was watching fruit basket
idk who popularised the narrative "i don't let my disability stop me" but it needs to be stomped on, pulverised by a meat grinder and then thrown into the depths of the sea never to be seen again.
it is by far the most popular ableist narrative and i see it so much and immediately just think i'm a bad person for not being able to 'get over' my disability despite the fact it's an incurable, permanent and severely disabling disability.
stop stop stop stop pushing the mindset that people have to persevere despite their disabilities in order to be a worthy person
leave me alone and let me be disabled in peace
AU where Zuko and Iroh join up with the gang in Book 2 while they're fugitives in the Earth Kingdom. Except when they get to Ba Sing Se, Azula doesn't realise this and still offers to take Zuko make to the Fire Palace
Zuko says yes and spends all of Book 3 acting as a spy in the Fire Palace
OKAY i just read this fic and im going slightly insane over it!!! it was so good
it has arthur dealing with living in the present after being dead for 1500 years
merlin tweeting about his time in camelot and how much he misses arthur
arthur getting on twitter and responding to him
and its just so good, found family and everything!!!!!!! so y'all should read "You Have to Chase It" by @arthurandhisswordbros on ao3!!!!! here's their summary:
“Oh, I don’t know who he really is—no one does,” she says. “Although, some people think he’s probably a grad student doing some avant-garde project for a thesis or something. Others think the whole account is just an elaborate advertisement for Budweiser.” Arthur doesn’t understand most of what she just said but nods anyway. Squinting her eyes, she gauges his confusion regardlessly. “It’s someone pretending to be the famous sorcerer. See here, this is his most recent tweet.” At Arthur’s odd look, she clarifies, “It’s like a message that everyone can see.” @asorcerersays: Guys why did he have to be so hot and like,,,funny? Like it’s been forever and I still miss him. He was pretty dumb though. Arthur knows his face must look disgusted. “For everyone to see?” Or, Immortal!Merlin goes on Twitter to complain about his dead king. Unrelatedly, Arthur joins Twitter.
Chronically ill people should be allowed to kill Anyone who tells them to be grateful or that they're "lucky" that their disease/disability isn't showing up on bloodwork/tests.
The idea that you're "lucky" if your disability/disease doesn't show up on tests because if it did, it would be worse is so fucking shit.
I need a wheelchair, I'm homebound, on heart medication, three different pain medications (and more!) and can barely navigate my house but according to doctors, I'm "lucky" my disease isn't progressive enough that they can figure it out. Apparently, since it doesn't show up on tests, that means whatever I have is considered "mild".
Personally, I think that idea should die in a ditch and chronically ill people without diagnoses should be allowed some kind of compensation for it existing in the first place.
“You wanna fight someone, you fight me” seemed like a silly rule at first. but after there was more than one batkid living in the Manor at the same time, suddenly the prospect of having to spar with Bruce on the mats because you couldn’t stop yourself from throwing a punch at Tim earlier is terrifying.
not aromantic but I believe in their beliefs.
"there's no platonic explanation for this" try harder bucko
they should hold 4 versions of every olympic event in this order to witness the full breadth of human capabilities:
primary schoolers
random nonathletic adults
olympians
olympians roided and doped up to the max
Sometimes I think about Zuko being the Firelord and I just giggle like yeah it is an angsty situation, yes it’s got great fanfic material but guys your just going to give a 17 year old a whole country. Like not even a normal trained from birth Prince you’ve got a guy that was officially the Crown Prince for like 3 years and then he was out at sea causing problems. His special skills include hunting the avatar, B&E, being buddies with mythical beasts, prison breaks and customer service and you gave him the ultimate power to do whatever he wants. Not to mention he’s got friends who are just as insane and feral and he’s got all the money. Toph and Sokka are going to talk him into the most insane purchases in seconds. Guys c’mon.
Bug || 22 they/them || pure chaos + lots of neurodivergent and Batman shit
