Okay, Going On Last Post, Here's Idea Number 1 Of The Trope:

Okay, going on last post, here's idea number 1 of the trope:

Johnny Norrington is your normal 17 year old who's due to graduate soon. He's not very excited to graduate school, but life will just go on whether he'd like it to or not. His father, Gary, has just recently begun plans for making housing area around a lake for a new town.

One night, about a week and a half before the plans are set to begin, a shooting star falls from the sky and lands in the lake. The next day, after hearing about the comet from a friend, went down to the lake and finds five cats on the shore:Lionblaze, Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, Dovewing, and Ivypool, as they are my favorites to write about and would realistically be the most marketable for the team.

The cats would at first be wary, but eventually soften up to Johnny enough to follow him home. Dovewing would be the quickest to adjust to Johnny's presence, with Lionblaze and surprisingly Hollyleaf quiet close behind. When Johnny questions aloud what happened to the cats, he gets a total shock when the scarred white and grey cat starts hissing on about Starclan in their dreams saying that they must save the new lake by finding the 'cloudy heart of an unexpected warrior'. The fluffy gray cat beside her also explains about the sight of a hawk's feather covered in nearly blinding stars.

Johnny, although clueless about Warrior Cats and dealing with his own school and family problems, decides to help the cats with their magical prophecy and stop his father's company in only a week in a half. From making a new clan in New Jersey itself to having Twoleg warrior training to having cheesy bonding situations with the unfortunate prophesied three, Johnny may just make this cheesy family cash grab flick a more down-to-the-lake experience than the Sonic Movie, while also making a fan clan trope come true.

Warrior Cats Burning Suns AU Dark Forest

Before I touch on the allegiances and begin the fic, I wanted to touch on the part of the AU that's going to be important for the second protagonist:the Dark Forest, i.e. her home before Thunderclan.

Before the Dark Forest, cats like One'eye and Nettletail roamed about the edges of Starclan. Then Mapleshade came, her and her surviving kit being persecuted unfairly by Starclan. In her fathoming anger, grass began to die around her paws, a thin red outline graced her pelt, and her eyes turned black, with piercing yellow pupils. Suddenly, a dark and gloomy forest burst from around her, sending Starclan cats fleeing as the ground began to crumble and crack open. Beneath it, scorching molten fire split the ground apart, sending cats plunging into a firey second death.

One of these cats was Oakstar, who burned beneath the dying grasses. As he felt his spirit fade away, his essence began to gather. Many moons later, this essence would reform into another Thunderclan tom, to reform Oakstar's spirit in the light of reincarnation.

Meanwhile, the Dark Forest grew as the evil cats at the border began to flock to Mapleshade and her kit's new hunting grounds. In this forest, cats no longer aged, and Starclan could send the evil and vile cats to rot forever in pain.

Now, in the twisted and dark trees, organs of cats hang askew for all to see. Blood drips down the blackened branches, and charred remnants of leaves occasionally fall to the ground. Cats wallow in pain and suffering, avoiding the dark pools filled with blood and grime. Some say that large scaly creatures with claw-sharp teeth will grab cats and drag them into the depths, where they tear their bodies apart. Some also say that large water snakes swim in there as well, and will electrify the grimy water with lightning when they have caught their prey.

When you enter the Dark Forest in your dreams, the only way to leave is through a dark tunnel with a bright light at the end. If you stay in for too long, your real body will wither away into ashes, and your spirit will be stuck in the Dark Forest forever, your fur charred and burnt like the ground beneath your paws.

There is always the chance that you will slip through one of the cracks and fall into the molten fire. If you do, your death will be painfully slow, as Mapleshade has found a way to manipulate it to do so. All the while, the essence of twice dead Dark Forest spirits will taunt you and cheer as you slowly die.

Anyways, past the gory stuff, thanks for reading! The allegiances will most likely come out later today, but it may be tomorrow if I'm too busy.

Burning Suns Pride Month Character Identities/Sexualities

Hey everybody, it's me again! Since we're currently in the midst of pride month, I'd thought I'd show off some character identities/sexualities that are canon for at least book 1 of my rewrite.

Just to state, this blog and AU are friendly with and welcoming of members of the LGBTQ+ community. As an asexual lesbian myself, I find no reason to discriminate or disclude members of my community from interacting and viewing this AU. Happy Pride Month, and welcome to the rewritten world of Warriors!

Bluestars:Bisexual, goes by she/her. Once had a fling with Oakheart, but lost romantic intention with him after bringing her kits to Riverclan. Later dated Yellowfang during her stay in Thunderclan.

Yellowfang:Pansexual, goes by she/they. Like Bluestars, once had a partnership with Raggedstars, but ended things after he cheated on her with Foxheart. Later dated Bluestars during her stay in Thunderclan.

Lionheart:Bisexual, goes by he/him. Once dated an unknown male rogue, but ended it after gaining feelings for Frostfur. Helped Firepaw figure out he's Bi.

Whitestorm:Pansexual, goes by he/him. Accidentally had a fling with Brindleface, but broke it off after realizing his mistake. Took responsibility anyways and helped raise Ashfur and Ferncloud.

Redtail:Trans FtM, goes by he/him. Born as a she-cat, but felt uncomfortable with her gender. Transitioned to a tom as an apprentice after speaking with a Trans kittypet. Hooked up with Runningwind around the end of his apprenticeship and had Sandstorm many moons into being a warrior.

Darkstripe:Gay, goes by he/him. Didn't know his sexuality until he became a warrior and developed a crush on Whitestorm. Decided to not pursue Whotestorm to instead pursue his plans with Tigerstar and Longtail.

Longtail:Aroace, goes by he/him. Never liked romance or mates since he could remember, but never figured it out until his friend Mousefur confided in him her shared feelings on the subject. Still close with Mousefur, but as a best friend.

Runningwind:Bisexual, goes by he/they. Always liked Redtail even before he transitioned. Was Redtail's biggest supporter when he first transitioned and ended up being mates with him and having Sandstorm.

Thrushpelt:Pansexual, goes by he/him. Once liked Bluemoon, but fathered her kits even though she didn't reciprocate his feelings. Found Mosskit in the snow and took her back to camp, where she was brought back to life by Featherwhisker. Ended up mentoring her and later one of the protags.

Graypaw:Bisexual, goes by he/him. Has kits with Silverstream still, but does crush on Firepaw. Helps Firestar hide his secret relationship with a rogue later on in the arc.

Sandpaw:Bisexual, goes by she/her. Does not get with Firestars in this AU, but instead with another cat. Still has Squirrelflight and Leafpool, but Firestars is instead a surrogate father/uncle for the kits. Doesn't have Spottedleaf drama in this AU and doesn't have to worry about a disloyal mate.

Sunpaw:Asexual lesbian, goes by she/they. Yes, she's kinda based off of me, but I've had her forever and I had to do something with her. Doesn't really ever come to the realization she's lesbian, she just kinda always is and falls in love.

Bonepaw:Bisexual, goes by he/they. I bet you all can guess who this guy is, but I'm just gonna say it outright:this AU does NOT ship BoneScourge. This AU instead ships him with another fruity guy.

Ravenpaw:Gay, he/him. He's still gay, but he gets to stay in Thunderclan this time.

Yo everybody no tags post but I need some help.

I'm gonna post the allegiances, but I have a problem:many cats have multiple roles. I want to put their descriptions, but I don't want to feel as if I'm overcrowding the lists and just repeating things endlessly.

If anybody is able to help me with this situation, TYSM.

Burning Suns AU Roles

(Thank you to @theanoninyourinbox for inspiring these roles! If you want to see more roles like this, please go check out their amazing Longstar AU)

Leader

This cat essentially keeps their clan running smoothly and well. From assigning mentors, to giving apprentices their warrior roles, and even making second paws, leaders do it all. This role was heralded by Thunderstar, son of the Stars Leader Gray Wing, and first leader of the forest. This role also heralded the creation of the Second Paw.

Second Paw

The role of deputy in this AU, the Second Paw lives to directly run the menial tasks of the clan. They will do anything from assigning patrols to putting in a word for choosing mentors and apprentice's warrior roles and dealing with oncoming battles and wars. This role was heralded by a cat of an unknown clan named Sparrow Fur, who suggested it after her paranoid leader could trust nobody but her. This role also solved the leader crisis with Shadowclan's first leader, Shadowstar, after her untimely death.

Medicinist/Lead Medicinist

The role of a Medicine Cat in this AU, Medicinists are the healers of their clan. They are trained in the ways of herbs by their mentor, the Lead Medicinist, and will take on the role as soon as they have healed enough cats successfully. This role was herladed by Moth Flight, the first medicinist of Windclan, in her grief after losing a dear friend. Although suggested otherwise by Starclan, Moth Flight saw past her grief and, unlike in canon, allowed Medicinists mates and kits as long as:

1. There was a second Medicinist or Lead Medicinist to take the place of the Medicinist

2. There was a queen in the clan who could take up nursing the kits

3. The clan must let the kits know of their real parents alongside their foster

Record Keeper

The duty of a Record Keeper is one of the most valued and beloved roles of a clan. These cats keep the stories and legends alive for all cats, often either through word of mouth or written on stone tablets. These cats only pursue this role, as it takes up most of a cat's time in the clan. It is considered bad luck when a cat kills a Record Keeper, and that cat is rumored to be banished to the Dark Forest as punishment. This role was heralded by the Stars Leader, Gray Wing, to first keep record of his vile enemy Clear Sky, and to warn future cats to not repeat his deeds.

Warrior Roles

Warrior

This role is a general role that every cat fits in. It used to be its own term, but now is used as a general term when addressing every cat of the clan. Once on this own, this role encompassed all the rest into one. This role was also heralded by Thunderstar in memory of a tom named Lightning Tail, who has been shown in records of the ancients to 'have been Thunderstar's best friend since the beginning.'

Catcher

The catchers of the clan are the main hunters. They are specifically trained in tracking, catching, and retrieving the specific prey of their clan. They will also be trained to catch prey from other clans in the off chance it stumbles onto their side of the border. This role was heralded by a she-cat lost to time, but surviving records show she had a swiftness almost like the wind and a quick nose that could track any prey scent.

Patroller

Patrollers are the caretakers of the clan territory and the clan borders. They go out each day and mark the borders, making sure no cat from any clan has stepped out of line. They will report their findings to the leader, and are sometimes sent out on peace talks with Enforcers to reset clan borders with another patrol. This role was heralded by an ancient Shadowclan tom named Thorn, and some kits destined to be patrollers will have thorn in their names in honor of the Patroller Herald.

Semi-Patroller

The semi-patroller is one of the most populated roles in a clan. These are part time patrollers who are often out during midday, as the direct patrollers often go out in the dawn and dusk patrols. Semi-patrollers are also allowed in peace talks if they have the enforcer role as well. This role was heralded by Thorn's brother, Raven, and was the first time a cat had a second role.

Enforcer

Enforcers are the cats of the clan who make sure every cat is doing their role right. If they're not, let's just say they have their own ways of enforcing these things. Cats of this role are the closest to the leader, which has ended up with some corrupt cats using this role for power. The cat who heralded this role was a vile tom named Clear Sky whose existence besides name and vileness has been erased from records. He is slowly being forgotten, but not every cat wants to be forgotten. Especially not him.

Clawstriker

Clawstrikers are the cats in the clan most specialized in fighting. Although every cat, even the medicinists, receive battle training, the Clawstrikers receive the most battle training. They are sat in the front lines of battle and war, their pelts flanked with blood from prey as a sign of intimidation. This role was heralded by a mysterious warrior of Tigerclan, but many cats doubt this even with the lack of records of a clan cat who made this role.

Builder Gaurds

Builder Gaurds are the cats of the clan who gaurd and help rebuild the camp. Cats with this role will switch out with each other every few days to pursue their other roles, which are commonly Patrollers and Catchers, as they can be the most easily fluctuated. This role was heralded by a Windclan tom named Gorse Fur, who learnt the ways of a Builder Gaurd from a mysterious tom only recorded as Branch.

Temporary roles

Mentor

A mentor is a temporary role that lasts for about a few moons. These cats will teach an apprentice in their line of work, with input of the kit's interests and skills before their mentor has been chosen. If a mentor has been deemed as not the best cat for the apprentice to be taught by, the apprentice has the choice to switch mentors or keep their original mentor. When a cat has finished their training, their mentor and a cat from each role the apprentice has been taught in will oversee their assessment and see if they're ready. This role was heralded by Riverstar, who mentored the first apprentice, a cat named Soft Furze.

Queen

Queens are the mothers of the kits in the clan. They watch over and protect the young until they are six moons of age, when they become apprentices in the clan. After this, the queens will return to warrior duties after a few days of recovery in the Healer's Den. Foster queens will also care for a medicinst's kits if the medicinist is a she-cat. This role was harolded by Violet Dawn, the mate of Thunderstar, along with the first Medicinist Moth Flight.

Role Fill-ins

Sometimes, when there isn't enough of a cat in a role or too many cats in one role die at once, a cat will temporarily fill in that role. They will be taught by a temporary mentor, the cat who has currently been in the role the longest. After a cat has filled their time in the temporary role, they will return to their regular duties. There is also the chance the leader will assign them this role if there isn't enough cats in the role by 6 moons.

Alright, that's all! This was certaintly a long post, but I wanted to get it out while I could! Like I said, please go check out my friend theanoninyourinbox's Longstar AU, as I can only give them credit for the roles idea.
