literally about to write some fics about these two cuz i didnt realize how totally underrated they are cuz it works so well??? are you kidding me????? wdym rare pair
todoiida is one of those ships that is really really underrated but is so good once you GET it.
the parallels of them both coming from elite wealthy hero families, both dealing with their own baggage from what happens to their brothers and the pressure to uphold the name. Iida’s desire for revenge similar to how Shoto refused to use part of his quirk. when they pick their own hero names i noticed shoto and iida were the only ones to pick their real names due to the circumstances they’re both under.
thinking abt the mutual worry they’ve shown for each other too. Shoto during the Stain arc and Iida when Shoto is confronting Toya/his family’s past.
It’s sooooo interesting to me. I’d even go as far as to say this ship is probably the most interesting to me after after bkdk and tgck! even if you don’t see them as romantic their dynamic is undeniably fascinating.

theory: bakugou can use mini explosions to emit a little bit of light.
Bakugou: getting dressed for an early morning run while still dark outside. queue quiet pops to find where tf he put his running shoes.
Bakugou: gets up in the middle of the night to piss. queue echoed crackling as he makes his way down the halls. gets scolded by iida in the process for being too noisy.
Bakugou: (reluctantly) joined his classmates to watch some stupid movie in the dark (to "fit the vibe") when Kirishima's phone falls out of his pocket and into the cushions. Annoyed pops to emit just enough light for Kiri to find it.
