so... I actually written this right when Hazbin Hotel had dropped the first season on Amazon, and just never got around to actually posting it lol. But I thought I might as well since I do still think this might have some merit to it, so tell me what you think!
ok hear me out- ik someone has probably pointed this out before but i was thinking that with the latest episode in the the show that maybe when an angel “falls” or a demon “ascends” that it’s not just them becoming “other” and changing.
Maybe it has to be a sort of trade. I know it sounds kinda strange but i was re-watching from the first episode and Adam’s line of “an eye for an eye” in his song kind of stood out, which yeah ik it’s probably meant to be a throwaway line aimed at the idea that humans are where they are because of what they did while they were alive, like you get what you give. but re-watching after the finale, where it wasn’t until Adam had essentially “fallen” or died that Sir Pentious had “ascended”.
And it also plays with the idea of what hell and heaven are meant to be in terms of the show, as a balance that when looking closely has a very fine line between them. It just strikes me as odd that it’s not until both of them essentially die that we actually see a sinner “ascend”. And with the news of Adam and the excorsist exterminating sinners being a surprise to most of the council along with the shock of seeing Sir Pencious in heaven at the end sort of clues us into the idea that this most likely has never happened, or at least not to such a public display. and maybe that’s the whole point of both heaven and hell not wanting the news of that being a possibility getting out. It would cause caos and war, demons would realize that there might actually be a way to get out, but that also means taking the spot of another soul, and ik you could argue “well then why doesn’t lucifer know”, and i don’t think he was ever supposed to.
Or when it did become known by heaven they wanted to keep it as hush hush as possible, because I mean realistically would you want to risk the possibility of the first guy to have “fallen” (more like banished) know a way to get back when he was exiled by the same people with that information in the first place. And another point would be “what about fallen souls, why wouldn’t they say anything”, would you? being banished or falling from heaven for something you did so bad, even after death, that they decided that you had to leave, wouldn’t be something that i can imagine a lot of people saying in their everyday conversation. Or maybe they don’t even make it to hell, we know heaven is already scared of their numbers through their regular arrivals, but having fallen souls in that mix would be even worse, with them actually knowing how heaven works, and maybe even harboring resentment for them. And we already know that they’re not turned off by the idea of killing human souls if it meant keeping the structure they have built.
So maybe they kill them twice, or maybe it works the exact same way it does when going to heaven. Being “reborn” having to die again to get there and then being targeted specifically to ensure that word of your existence doesn’t get out.

Thinking about what would happen if MC started to play this little joke with Mammon. They would ask, "Grimm for a kiss?" And he would sprint over and kiss them, taking the money out of their hand at the same time.
An adorable little inside joke that started off innocently between the two of them.
But now he can't look at money without suddenly thinking of the feeling of their lips against his. He can't pay for anything without immediately thinking of them, of where they are, and if he should get them a matching pair of what he's getting.
Anytime he passes a coin on the streets, he pauses. He used to pick them up and call himself one lucky demon. But nowadays, he almost passes them by, instantly brought to memories of his beloved human and feeling that he would only be luckier if they were by his side at that very moment.
For every transaction he makes, he subconsciously tallies it down in his brain, making sure he gets what he's owed when he's with MC again, completely forgetting the fact that it started out with them owing HIM. But does it even matter anymore?

“Don’t,” you warned Lucifer. You saw that self-assured grin on his face. You knew what he was planning.
“What? I just came to see what you were doing.” He leaned on your shoulder with enough weight to tilt you several inches sideways, no matter how much you pushed back. “Don’t mind me, carry on.”
“Don’t you have more important things to do?” you retorted, but it was too late. The others were catching on.
“Hey, hey! What’s going on?” Mammon came over and pushed against your other shoulder, tilting you back upright. “What are two of my favorite people doin’?”
You tried to shrug them both off, to no avail. “We’re not doing anything. We can stop this.”
You couldn’t stop it. Asmodeus was on his way and wasted no time crossing his arms over your back, happily leaning into you from behind. You tilted forward. “Hey! What’s happening here?”
You sighed, “we’re not doing this again.”
Asmodeus teased you with honeyed innocence, “doing what, hon? Something on your mind?”
These three demons thought they were so funny.
A passing Satan made eye contact with you. In that exact moment, you used every bit of imaginary telepathy you could muster. Surely Satan would understand. He could save you. He could free you before it really was too late.
He observed what his brothers were doing, nodded, and approached with a congenial grin. Mission failed.
“Traitor!” You regretted ever agreeing to join this exchange program as Satan slowly fell back into you. You didn’t even try to catch him, you were too busy trying to remain upright under the combined weight of four demons. They were hardly even holding back.
You couldn’t see who was running up, being too busy blowing Satan’s blonde hair out of your face, but at this point it didn’t matter. They were all coming for you.
“Let me in on this!” Leviathan said cheerily.
“Yeah!” “Come on!” Asmodeus and Mammon gladly made some room for Leviathan, which was difficult because you were sinking lower and lower, and you felt another weight pile onto your back as Levi cozied up to your torso. This scenario had played out enough times now that the brothers could somehow keep you from falling over like a Jenga tower, but it was still only a matter of time.
Belphegor squeezed his way in between Satan and Lucifer and wordlessly collapsed onto you as if overcome with narcolepsy. He sure looked cozy. He smirked while you lamented, “I’m never forgiving any of you, ever.”
“Beel? Are you coming?” Lucifer summoned the cherry on top of this ridiculous parfait. You braced as Beelzebub licked the crumbs off his fingers in preparation. He knew what had to be done.
“Are you ready?” At least he had the decency to ask, unlike six other degenerates. The six lumps of dead weight each grabbed a part of your body, shifting from leans to awkward hugs. There was no way to run.
With an exaggerated “hah!”, Beelzebub’s weight and outstretched arms were enough to send everyone crashing down. You were protected from any real damage by the shell of demon brothers, but they soon had you pinned down against someone’s chest in the world’s most embarrassing cuddle pile.
“Aren’t you guys too old for this?” you asked. “By like, ten thousand years?”
“We were just checking up on you,” Lucifer said.
“Yeah, how did this happen? Hmm..!” Asmodeus’s voice dripped with sarcasm.
Satan draped his leg over yours and not-so-accidentally kicked Lucifer. “You should have told us what you were doing.”
“I think it’s fun.” Belphegor was the only one to admit the truth.
Hands were running through your hair and over your stomach. Somebody was pushing the edge of your mouth up into a smile with their finger. If these guy were so touch-starved, they could have just said so, like sane people.
“My! What do we have here?”
You groaned, partially because everybody was really heavy and partially because you really didn’t need Diavolo to arrive just then.
“My lord, it appears we have walked in on something quite interesting.” Et tu, Barbatos?
”Indeed! Is there room for two more?”
Your “no!” was drowned out by seven resounding yeses.

Katsuki Bakugo Headcannons
-In the mha universe it's cannon that people's quirks can affect someone's health or person, an example would be with Ururaka and how she gets dizzy or with Aizawa and how he gets bad dry eye and has to use eye drops. I think the same can be said for Bakugo, after years of just using his quirk and the close proximity, his hearing has deteriorated. It's because of this that from a young age, he started to learn sign language as another way to communicate, and around middle school started wearing hearing aids. And usually, everyone just assumes the reason for his yelling is because he's rude or loud, but it's mostly just because he has a hard time hearing his own voice and it makes it easier to talk to others.
-Because of his looks and personality a lot of people may say that Bakugo is exactly like his mom, which to an extent is true, but I think he also takes a lot from his dad. Growing up he learned how to observe people and their emotions, whether they be explosive or small he's always been able to read people in a way that left them a bit vulnerable. For example, when one of his friends or classmates is feeling more down than usual he knows that some may want to be comforted and others may want to be left alone, and though he won't ever admit it, he'll do the smaller things to help like maybe a comment, snack, or just giving them an option (even if they don't realize it) of what they want. This was something he saw with his parents, and with his dad especially when it came to trying to cheer up or comfort either of them.
-Just like with Izuku, he didn't realize that being trans was really a thing till he was told about it and his reaction was mostly just 'Oh, so that's what it's called'. And because of the high-paying jobs, his parents have it would've been easier for him to get the funds for top surgery, I think he would've wanted to as soon as he could, so maybe around the summer before his first year at U.A or around the end of his third year in middle school.
-He loves animals. Like, if he sees an animal on the street or in the park he'll stop and try and pet it, doesn't matter what he was doing before he will stop and try and pet it. Mid convo? Well, now he's across the street feeding and petting a cat or trying to feed a squirrel. It's a subconscious reaction really, he sometimes doesn't even realize it.
-He might call Izuku a nerd, but this guy is 100 times worse than him when it comes to heroes (they're also his special interest), he's just more "lowkey" about. He might not have a lot of posters or figurines of heroes but ask him anything about All Might and he will know, the year, month, day, and time. And he's just as much of a fanboy, he just doesn't like to show it as hardcore.
-Will do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING out of spite. If told he can't do something he'll do it just to say he could. If a teacher or peer tells him that he shouldn't do something he's gonna do it anyway. Say he doesn't have to do something if he doesn't want to? He took it as a challenge. He's a spiteful person, and he is driven by that alone.
-A lot of people might assume that the reason why his skin is so clear is a result of his quirk, but in reality, this man has an ass whole skincare routine and he follows it religiously. He might get teased for 'going to bed' at 8:30 but honestly, two of those hours are just spent on his skincare before bed. It's a routine he picked up from his mom growing up and it's now just a permanent part of his daily routine.

Hi :D this is my first time posting any of my writing/headcanons, so I apologize if there are any grammar mistakes.
-He's a mix of afro Latino and Japanese, with Inko being afro-Latina (specifically Colombian) and his dad being Japanese. Both his parents were born and raised in Japan, but Inko spoke both Japanese and Spanish, and that rubbed off on Izuku with them speaking both languages at home.
-Though there is the common hc or stereotype for Latino characters to start rambling in Spanish only when they're really mad, I think it happens for him with any intense emotion. Whether it's him happy, sad, anxious, or even just mildly annoyed I think he turns to Spanish in those moments (he got it from Inko).
-He's autistic, and his special interests are quirks and heroes (obviously), but he has pretty bad sensory issues. Like, he can't stand the feeling of someone else's skin on his skin, he can tolerate it if he initiates the hug but other than that he hates the feeling. The same goes for crowded spaces, when he has to do things like joint class activities or is in the cafeteria he'll often be wearing noise-canceling headphones.
-I'd like to think that he's a bit of a mama's boy, but not in the way that Inko would do everything for him. But in the way that he was attached to her hip and wanted to do everything she did. And because of that, he picked up different skills and hobbies, like crocheting, knitting, and cooking, and he even has a bit of a green thumb. I like to imagine that when he was little all he would do is follow Inko around and have his own little set of everything she did, like a mini gardener sat with a shovel and gloves, and a little bag with his yarn and child safety hooks.
-He's ftm trans. Growing up he didn't really know the difference between "gender roles" because all he really had was his mom, so when it came to stereotypes and gendered clothing he didn't even know that it was a thing. He actually grew up till he was around 4 or 5 believing he was born a boy.
-Boy is biromantic and demi-ace. I don't really have any backstory for this one except that he just thought everyone was attracted to both women and men. It wasn't until he was around 14 that he found out everyone was in fact not attracted to both men and women.
-Comfort items and food. His absolute comfort food is Katsudon, but only the kind Inko makes (and he's learned to make) because every other ones he's tried just aren't right. Those t-shirts that have the writing on them that either say pants or tux, he finds them both funny and comfortable. The same goes for his red shoes, though others might say they're an unsettling bright red, they're the only brand and type that fit him in a way that doesn't make him want to scream.
-Anxiety. With how much anxiety he has he's had to both go to therapy for it and even take medication. And it's not something he's ashamed of, it's something his mom does too since it seems to have been a common genetic thing in his family.
-Chronic pain after he started using One for All. Like, we all have seen how much he's either broken his bones or been extremely injured, I think that it's had a toll on his body. He can still move around and train just fine, but there are still times when he has to take a break because of the pain he's feeling. And there are even times when he has to actively massage and work the muscles in his hands and arms since he sometimes feels like they're either stuck or painful to move.
-We all of course know him as the ultimate All Might fanboy and just how much he tries to emulate him as a hero. But at the core of it, I like to think that he takes a lot of heart and inspiration for being a hero from his mom. Growing up she was all he really had, so he tries to emulate the strong and emotionally vulnerable person that made him feel so valid and safe in his own emotions when comforting and talking to both civilians and the people around him.
-He's not allowed to be alone with Hatsume for too long. It happened once and they ended up drawing out and even creating over 30 support items based on their collective observations and notes of hero student's quirks. They had even made a few inpo boards on what students they would be able to monetize on the most and showcase the quirks in the same time period.
