Katsuki Bakugo Headcannons

-In the mha universe it's cannon that people's quirks can affect someone's health or person, an example would be with Ururaka and how she gets dizzy or with Aizawa and how he gets bad dry eye and has to use eye drops. I think the same can be said for Bakugo, after years of just using his quirk and the close proximity, his hearing has deteriorated. It's because of this that from a young age, he started to learn sign language as another way to communicate, and around middle school started wearing hearing aids. And usually, everyone just assumes the reason for his yelling is because he's rude or loud, but it's mostly just because he has a hard time hearing his own voice and it makes it easier to talk to others.

-Because of his looks and personality a lot of people may say that Bakugo is exactly like his mom, which to an extent is true, but I think he also takes a lot from his dad. Growing up he learned how to observe people and their emotions, whether they be explosive or small he's always been able to read people in a way that left them a bit vulnerable. For example, when one of his friends or classmates is feeling more down than usual he knows that some may want to be comforted and others may want to be left alone, and though he won't ever admit it, he'll do the smaller things to help like maybe a comment, snack, or just giving them an option (even if they don't realize it) of what they want. This was something he saw with his parents, and with his dad especially when it came to trying to cheer up or comfort either of them.

-Just like with Izuku, he didn't realize that being trans was really a thing till he was told about it and his reaction was mostly just 'Oh, so that's what it's called'. And because of the high-paying jobs, his parents have it would've been easier for him to get the funds for top surgery, I think he would've wanted to as soon as he could, so maybe around the summer before his first year at U.A or around the end of his third year in middle school.

-He loves animals. Like, if he sees an animal on the street or in the park he'll stop and try and pet it, doesn't matter what he was doing before he will stop and try and pet it. Mid convo? Well, now he's across the street feeding and petting a cat or trying to feed a squirrel. It's a subconscious reaction really, he sometimes doesn't even realize it.

-He might call Izuku a nerd, but this guy is 100 times worse than him when it comes to heroes (they're also his special interest), he's just more "lowkey" about. He might not have a lot of posters or figurines of heroes but ask him anything about All Might and he will know, the year, month, day, and time. And he's just as much of a fanboy, he just doesn't like to show it as hardcore.

-Will do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING out of spite. If told he can't do something he'll do it just to say he could. If a teacher or peer tells him that he shouldn't do something he's gonna do it anyway. Say he doesn't have to do something if he doesn't want to? He took it as a challenge. He's a spiteful person, and he is driven by that alone.

-A lot of people might assume that the reason why his skin is so clear is a result of his quirk, but in reality, this man has an ass whole skincare routine and he follows it religiously. He might get teased for 'going to bed' at 8:30 but honestly, two of those hours are just spent on his skincare before bed. It's a routine he picked up from his mom growing up and it's now just a permanent part of his daily routine.

Izuku Midorya

A/N

Hi :D this is my first time posting any of my writing/headcanons, so I apologize if there are any grammar mistakes.

-He's a mix of afro Latino and Japanese, with Inko being afro-Latina (specifically Colombian) and his dad being Japanese. Both his parents were born and raised in Japan, but Inko spoke both Japanese and Spanish, and that rubbed off on Izuku with them speaking both languages at home.

-Though there is the common hc or stereotype for Latino characters to start rambling in Spanish only when they're really mad, I think it happens for him with any intense emotion. Whether it's him happy, sad, anxious, or even just mildly annoyed I think he turns to Spanish in those moments (he got it from Inko).

-He's autistic, and his special interests are quirks and heroes (obviously), but he has pretty bad sensory issues. Like, he can't stand the feeling of someone else's skin on his skin, he can tolerate it if he initiates the hug but other than that he hates the feeling. The same goes for crowded spaces, when he has to do things like joint class activities or is in the cafeteria he'll often be wearing noise-canceling headphones.

-I'd like to think that he's a bit of a mama's boy, but not in the way that Inko would do everything for him. But in the way that he was attached to her hip and wanted to do everything she did. And because of that, he picked up different skills and hobbies, like crocheting, knitting, and cooking, and he even has a bit of a green thumb. I like to imagine that when he was little all he would do is follow Inko around and have his own little set of everything she did, like a mini gardener sat with a shovel and gloves, and a little bag with his yarn and child safety hooks.

-He's ftm trans. Growing up he didn't really know the difference between "gender roles" because all he really had was his mom, so when it came to stereotypes and gendered clothing he didn't even know that it was a thing. He actually grew up till he was around 4 or 5 believing he was born a boy.

-Boy is biromantic and demi-ace. I don't really have any backstory for this one except that he just thought everyone was attracted to both women and men. It wasn't until he was around 14 that he found out everyone was in fact not attracted to both men and women.

-Comfort items and food. His absolute comfort food is Katsudon, but only the kind Inko makes (and he's learned to make) because every other ones he's tried just aren't right. Those t-shirts that have the writing on them that either say pants or tux, he finds them both funny and comfortable. The same goes for his red shoes, though others might say they're an unsettling bright red, they're the only brand and type that fit him in a way that doesn't make him want to scream.

-Anxiety. With how much anxiety he has he's had to both go to therapy for it and even take medication. And it's not something he's ashamed of, it's something his mom does too since it seems to have been a common genetic thing in his family.

-Chronic pain after he started using One for All. Like, we all have seen how much he's either broken his bones or been extremely injured, I think that it's had a toll on his body. He can still move around and train just fine, but there are still times when he has to take a break because of the pain he's feeling. And there are even times when he has to actively massage and work the muscles in his hands and arms since he sometimes feels like they're either stuck or painful to move.

-We all of course know him as the ultimate All Might fanboy and just how much he tries to emulate him as a hero. But at the core of it, I like to think that he takes a lot of heart and inspiration for being a hero from his mom. Growing up she was all he really had, so he tries to emulate the strong and emotionally vulnerable person that made him feel so valid and safe in his own emotions when comforting and talking to both civilians and the people around him.

-He's not allowed to be alone with Hatsume for too long. It happened once and they ended up drawing out and even creating over 30 support items based on their collective observations and notes of hero student's quirks. They had even made a few inpo boards on what students they would be able to monetize on the most and showcase the quirks in the same time period.

hawks - likes to sleep with his face buried in your chest, is absolutely unashamed at how much he LOVES your tits, it's not even always sexual, at least according to him, he just wants to feel close to you, that's why he's slipping a hand under your sweatshirt on the subway train, cupping it before rolling a nipple between two fingers. "Better stay quiet for me," he threatens, the growl in his tone making a shiver run up your spine, "wouldn't want anyone to know what a slut you are for me, would we?"

when hatsume is asking aizawwa for details on the class for the simulation game (OVA) he gives oddly specific details- bakugou's temperament, izuku's rambling, momo's indecisiveness, kirishima making sure everyone is included, hizashi using radio puns in everything he says, snipe having a texan accent, denki having a short attention span, mina incorporating street dancing into her fighting style, izuku not winning against bakugou (& vice versa), bkdk having cali accents bc they learnt english from All Might's interviews in america ("Aizawa-sensei had given a plethora of knowledge about almost everyone in the hero course- including teachers. The only thing written down under his own name was the word decisive.")

Thinking about Himiko again....

I've seen many artists drawing Toga with sh scars, and, while understanding where it came from, I still couldn't come to terms with the idea itself.

But now... What if these scars aren't only a manifestation of how Himiko couldn't accept her body and let out her pent-up emotions through pain, but also served a practical purpose?

Middle school Himiko grappling with her desire for blood. Drinking her own to avoid hurting others, which, while being a poor substitute, is her only solace?

Himiko, locked up in the bathroom of her so-perfect-so-plastic home, a box cutter at her feet, licking her bleeding wounds while tears are streaming down her cheeks and her trembling lips are curled up into a wobbly smile.

It's so painful, but it's the closest to feeling alive she has.

And Himiko can't bring herself to feel shame.

P. S. It goes perfectly with Himiko wearing her yellow cardigan (?), actually, the sleeves being so long that she has sweater paws. Like, not that Himiko would be ashamed of her scars, she would just hate that people would look at her with pity, so it'd be easier to cover them up.

With the League though... Not that they would pay that any mind. They literally have a walking scar that is Dabi and not like anyone pays attention, so yup, Himiko would become a bit more relaxed about her scars eventually. Maybe they'll even have that scar talk. That'd be cute.

I'm rewatching Hannibal and an AU came to me… unexpectedly.

(Togachako) Hero x Serial killer!AU (feat. pro hero!Deku and Dynamight) ~☆

tw: bad English, lots of rambling, toxic relationship, we're not romanticizing tgck so proceed with caution (and after reading the disclaimer, please), any tw you can associate with Himiko Toga is here (nothing graphic though), overanalysing stuff, amateur psychology and all, dark content in general

Ochako has been unsure what she wants to do after finally starting her hero career, so she basically tries anything she can reach.

Working in the sea with Tsu, galas and interviews with Yaomomo, traveling with Deku (I feel he'd want to spend the rest of his power to see the world and his lots and lots of friends overseas). This time she finds herself getting into the world of quirk-related investigations under the tutelage of Katsuki whose solved criminal case count rapidly approaches the one of Endeavor (his character arc calls to me to be continued after Endeavor's path, please don't pay attention haha).

And with all that, she still tries to save face, knowing that she could've stopped this particular deranged story with just a word.

Why? Well, maybe she knows that no person in the world can leave DNA of people long dead and flaunt bloody confessions on the walls at the same time. No person who's not Himiko Toga.

The traps are set, the cycle starts its turn…

The very start:

° Himiko has genuine fun taunting Ochako with killing civilians while wearing her face

° She thinks she'll give Ochako the "freedom of expressing love" in a way she assumes Ochako wants but can't afford

° Himiko doesn't hide the fact she kills for Ochako and with Ochako's name on her lips

° Himiko torments her victims being transformed into whoever strikes her fancy, but the final strike is always performed so the last thing the poor prey sees is soulful, most gorgeous brown eyes in the world

° Himiko steals blood from the organization Ochako donors for (it's her way of coping with the trauma left by the Final Battle)

° Knowing the traces of her DNA are left at the crime scene even if she certainly didn't leave them there slowly corrodes Ochako's mental defenses

° She starts dreaming and hallucinating about killing those people herself until she can't tell reality from these images

° At one point she sees herself killing people wearing Himiko's face

° Himiko certainly uses it to her advantage. Who'd know when she gets into Ochako's apartment to whisper about all the ways she torments people from the shadowed corners?

° Guilt-tripping Ochako into justifying her actions too

As the madness progresses:

° Ochako can't draw the line between herself and Himiko anymore

° They complete each other in no way that is socially acceptable, but it feels right

° Ochako still tries to convince herself she's a good person and now this applies to Himiko as well because Himiko is "her" now too

° It's like they're drowning and melting into each other, minds a mingled mess of issues and fears, clinging, warping, breaking...

° Ochako's hands are bloody and Himiko hugs her from behind, cooing sweet nothings into her ear as they stare down at the newest "masterpiece" together

° Clay, warm hands and shaking fingers

° Ochako feels phantom touches on her skin all the time

° Himiko is being all giddy and "affectionate" with her victims, calling them "cute little presents" which she leaves for Ochako

The final stages:

° Ochako has a dream of killing Izuku. She fantasizes about it a lot later. There are tons of guilt and self-loathing, but she feels it would be the right thing to do. Become a way to "thank" Himiko by showing her effort isn't one-sided. She somehow knows it'd end the vicious cycle, but she just can't

° The Devil and Stockholm Syndrome (it's kinda questionable, I know, so we're taking it with a grain of salt)

° Dissociation

° Devil's advocate

° Cases named after astronomical phenomena

° Christmas, and Ochaco finds a bunch of vials filled with blood, all wrapped in a pretty thick red ribbon with a pompous bow on top. It's the legacy they've created together

Note:

I don't see the two as a healthy romantic relationship (I don't say you can't, it's just my opinion), so this scenario is relatively close to what I'd call realistic. Ochako who sees herself as a good person in any case (even if she's just too selfish to confront herself deep inside) and Himiko who takes the role of the bad part where Ochako can't.

Psychobabble (I'm no professional, it's more about how I feel than anything):

I based this whole AU on the traits I found in original manga and just extrapolated/exaggerated them into whatever this is now

Ochako loses feeling of what differs saving others and saving oneself and chooses to save "herself" (aka Himiko) in the end

Ochako is outright childish. She can't let the mask of a "hero" slip only because it's her shield against the world. She's torn apart by the ideas society put in her head, she can't imagine the concepts of "protect the weak" and "everyone is valid" existing together

In the end, she just resorts to the Friend or Foe (mine/anyone else) worldview so it's easier to process. Of course, what is "hers" is always considered as right and justified

Her empathy for Himiko has gotten to the point where it starts to consume her. She projects herself, her fears and motivations on Himiko, and it only makes things worse

Although, her empathy is quite selective. She can't empathize with the families of those who are killed by Toga. She thinks she can, but it comes from the guilt brewing inside her (it's still focused on self), not actual ability to put herself in others' place

Ochako feels she can be "like Deku", that she can save and forgive "bad people" like him. She finds comfort in such thoughts and hides behind them so she doesn't need to acknowledge the drastic differences in the situations

About the character archetypes:

For Ochako I can't figure out just one, but if I name the type it'd be "Not Bad But Confused" probably. Issues come from the fact her personality is too adaptive, and her worldview has shifted severely and continues to do so. In this situation, her way of coping happened to be finding an anchor in the wrong person, it happens to people all the time in real life too after all

Himiko shows as a symbolic "Devil", her presence is more phantom/ephemeral. Yes, she poisons Ochako's thoughts greatly, but the most work is done by Ochako and her own insecurities

Deku is similar to her, more of a symbol than a character. He's needed more as a deity-like/almost religious presence. Kinda ironic that his original character is heavily under the Hero Myth's (not sure how it's called in English, sorry) influence which is connected to the Bible in some ways

Katsuki stands out a bit as he's clearly the "workaholic cop" (workaholic hero in our case), no more than that as per his role. He's here so Ochako can value herself as "above his way of thinking". Side by side she clearly comes out as more "understanding" and sympathetic (NOT EMPATHETIC, don't confuse the terms!). Well, he's the person to bring her back to earth. A stoic one without a prominent character arc (it's often considered bad, but a flat arc can also be fine when handled properly)

Btw, the Toga-snakes dynamic is saving my life a bit. I've been giving her more snake-like features (thin nose, the EYES, and in this piece THE Smile etc.) (Voldemort???) since forever even if she reminds me more of a rambunctious kitten haha. My mind works in strange ways (◍•ᴗ•◍)

1. It's gorgeous and underrated

2. I think it'd be a part of her accepting her past and disentangling from the toxic need to be perceived as "cute" all the time

🌊 ~ Being a caregiver came naturally to him. He’s one of the people that randomly found out about age regression online on some random Tuesday night and instantly knew what he had to do.

🌊 ~ Literally carries you everywhere. Like, everywhere. Ever see those movie scenes where a mom is trying to do a million chores at once whilst simultaneously cradling their baby? Yeah, that’s him. He also likes carrying you on his shoulders.

🌊 ~ Doesn’t have many rules but absolutely stands by the ones he does! Dessert before dinner will always be a no-go, no matter how many adorable art pieces you draw him.

🌊~ Probably a Disney connoisseur. Constantly plays (pirated 🙃) Disney movies in the background of any activity. Gets absolutely decked out on Halloween in matching Disney-themed costumes with you.

🌊 ~ He’s kind of a minimalist but he still insists on hanging up all your artwork on his walls and showcasing every handmade gift on his desk.

🌊 ~ The Homosapien embodiment of a mama bear. His biggest nightmare is seeing you hurt whatsoever. At first he tried not to be overprotective, but seeing you scrape your knee every few days was genuinely making him lose sleep with the guilt.

🌊 ~ Doesn’t use pet names that often, but he has a wide variety when he does. Most commonly uses kid, bud, and tiger. Definitely a papa caregiver.

🌊 ~ Best person to go to when you’re sick. Sticks with you literally 24/7 and makes the most bomb chicken noodle soup you’ve ever had. Does not care about getting himself sick, as long as you’re not alone.

🌊 ~ A sucker for physical touch. Holds your hand, cuddles with you, lets you doodle on his arms…And you know this dude gives THE best massages.

These are platonic but can be interpreted as romantic? ^___^

💥 ~ Katsuki is a toddler regressor, while Eijirou is a middle regressor. They regress to 4 and 14 respectively, Katsuki a lot more often than Eijirou.

🦈 ~ Eijirou has an oral fixation that gets more prominent when he slips. A lot of the time, he’ll subconsciously chew on water bottle caps or his shirt collar, which Katsuki immediately shuts down with a chew necklace and a scolding for ruining his teeth.

💥 ~ Food is tricky for Katsuki. He’s not necessarily picky but his sensory issues get in the way. This has resulted in Eijirou having to get real creative with his snacks to incorporate healthy foods and even beg Aizawa to let them order takeout on multiple occasions, lest the boy starve.

🦈 ~ Contrarily, food is practically Eijirou’s love language. On the days his regression fog and insecurity won’t let him out of bed, Katsuki will deliver him a fresh, home-cooked meal. Every time, without fail.

abt the quirk belt

so we have seen it being like... metallic. But honestly it would make it really uncomfortable for long-term use, not talking abt permanent... plus the way its built may cause scratches on the skin. So my theory is that it actually has some textile underneath the metal so its comfortable

Also i think yuga has a second belt which he uses in daily life. Its more thin and discreet. Why do i think he has it? Just look at hos manga profile page... theres no sigh of the quirkbelt showing. So i was like "oh he must have a thinner one"

So i think hes not pro-blogger at all, he prob just has a tiktok account where he could post some fandom stuff (im sure he has some fandoms), and maybe moots. I think he vents there sometimes, too, but its impossible to tell the whole situation because what if afo finds it there, too?

He may avoid letting his parents take his phone, being worried about them finding out about his vents and getting upset. (And if we are talking abt overprotectiveness of his family, they may also not approve him having moots, bc "what if they are old creepy villains?!")

He sometimes uses his phone if he is really, REALLY bored, not often

I saw a lot of people assuming that aoyama has never had friends before izuku, but i lean more towards "1 good friend in the past" theory.

Like what id aoyama had a friend before all that quirk thing ? Or some time after ? But some circumstances (going to differrent schools?) made them part, and they dudnt cross paths again.

So izuku isnt the FIRST friend for aoyama in general, but the first friend who he could build a deeper connection with, since a lot has changed since their childhood.

I think that their desire to give their child everything he needs led to them getting overly attached to yuga (i can picture that he couldnt even stay at home alone until like 13). Sometimes overprotectiveness goes overboard, and the afo situation they got thrmselves and yuga into illustrates it perfectly

headcanon abt aoyama and night lens

what is night lens, first of all?

-night lens, also known as orthocerathologic lens, work like contacts. Except you put them on for a night and take them off in the morning, and they are not as soft.

So i hc that Yuga's quirk is bad for his eyesight so he uses night lens (nl) instead of glasses, since you only wear them at night and at the day your eyes are free.

(I know a theory abt his quirk being harmful for his body, but its a theme for an another post)

But you cannot cry in night lens so he doesnt cry himself to sleep:(
