🌊 ~ Being a caregiver came naturally to him. He’s one of the people that randomly found out about age regression online on some random Tuesday night and instantly knew what he had to do.

🌊 ~ Literally carries you everywhere. Like, everywhere. Ever see those movie scenes where a mom is trying to do a million chores at once whilst simultaneously cradling their baby? Yeah, that’s him. He also likes carrying you on his shoulders.

🌊 ~ Doesn’t have many rules but absolutely stands by the ones he does! Dessert before dinner will always be a no-go, no matter how many adorable art pieces you draw him.

🌊~ Probably a Disney connoisseur. Constantly plays (pirated 🙃) Disney movies in the background of any activity. Gets absolutely decked out on Halloween in matching Disney-themed costumes with you.

🌊 ~ He’s kind of a minimalist but he still insists on hanging up all your artwork on his walls and showcasing every handmade gift on his desk.

🌊 ~ The Homosapien embodiment of a mama bear. His biggest nightmare is seeing you hurt whatsoever. At first he tried not to be overprotective, but seeing you scrape your knee every few days was genuinely making him lose sleep with the guilt.

🌊 ~ Doesn’t use pet names that often, but he has a wide variety when he does. Most commonly uses kid, bud, and tiger. Definitely a papa caregiver.

🌊 ~ Best person to go to when you’re sick. Sticks with you literally 24/7 and makes the most bomb chicken noodle soup you’ve ever had. Does not care about getting himself sick, as long as you’re not alone.

🌊 ~ A sucker for physical touch. Holds your hand, cuddles with you, lets you doodle on his arms…And you know this dude gives THE best massages.

I’ve been working on pacing a bit but it’s very difficult for me for whatever reason. I’m gonna take creative writing again next year so I’m hoping to practice that and be able to post more (and better) fics in the future!

I don’t really like writing dialogue, hence why this is so full of description, but I’ll try to get better because the lack of speaking is honestly bothering me too😭

I’ve been trying to do an agere bkg oneshot but I can’t find the motivation to finish it so here’s smth to feed yall while I do that

🔋 ~ At first, he had virtually no idea what agere was. The second he figured out one of his friends was a little though, he insisted on playing a role in your regression. “I swear, I’ve watched kids before! Trust me!!”

🔋 ~ Milkshakes at a random burger joint with him at midnight would go so hard. He’d ask what money you plan on paying with and would immediately regret it when he sees the betrayal on your face.

🔋 ~ Don’t even get me started on nicknames. Little dude, bug, rockstar, rascal, silly goose, and kid/kiddo are his usual go-tos. Refers to you as his partner in crime.

🔋 ~ Physical touch is his main love language. You’ll always catch him slinging an arm around your shoulders, holding your hand when you cross the street, or ruffling your hair.

🔋 ~ Pushes you around in the shopping cart at the grocery store. I’ve got nothing else to say about that.

🔋 ~ Sits at the edge of your bed after a nightmare and rubs your back while telling you about his most recent fixation until you fall back asleep. (I feel like he’d really love Fairy Tail!)

🔋 ~ He doesn’t really know how to comfort people, so instead he resorts to telling jokes or playing games. Even the most mundane of tasks, like folding the laundry, is turned into a challenge to see who can fold and put away the most clothes in five minutes.

🔋 ~ Absolutely adores helping out with anything and everything possible, even if it’s unnecessary. Ties your shoes for you, helps you brush your teeth, buys any of your food cravings…Don’t tell him not to, he takes offense to that.

🔋 ~ Treats your stuffed animals/toys like real people. He talks to them directly and pretends they’re replying. “Damn Teddy, new shades? Where’d you get those? Ohh, Hot Topic. Coulda guessed.”

🔋 ~ Poor guy does not know how to prep a snack. He tries to make you pb&j sandwiches in the shape of dinosaurs like he saw on Pinterest one time but they turn out looking like really scary blobs. He didn’t realize there was a mold to cut them.

✨ ~ Honestly, she probably didn’t plan to be a caregiver at all. She was really anxious over upcoming exams and her little friend asked if she wanted to try age dreaming. Instead, she ended up looking after them and it turned out to be the biggest stress relief ever!

✨ ~ Okay, she loves reading you bedtime stories. But she is not a big fan of short, beginner books. So she compromises with children’s chapter books! Her personal favorite is The Witches by Roald Dahl.

✨ ~ Is an absolute master at getting littles to sleep. Nobody knows how she does it. Within a minute of rocking and singing lullabies, they’re out like a light.

✨ ~ SPOILES her kiddo to no end. You think that paci’s cute? You mean your paci? You’ve been eyeing a new toy online? Consider it an early Christmas present in March!

✨ ~ Much prefers a reward system over punishment. She keeps a sticker chart for every set of chores or routinely tasks completed. Positive reinforcement and corrections are just her go-to.

✨ ~ For pet names, I think she’d be mommy. She’d probably call you honey or sugar.

✨ ~ Goes all the way overboard when her baby’s sick. There will be leftovers of alphabet soup to last a week for the entire dorm. Makes you tea with honey and plays with your hair until you fall asleep. She’d probably sneak your medicine in a juice cup or something. You’ll be on bed rest ‘til the last sniffle.

✨ ~ Speaking of hair, she is unsurprisingly an amazing stylist. Her favorite things to do are braids of any kind. When it’s hair-wash day, she’ll wash and detangle it for you while you watch cartoons.

✨ ~ Activities like strawberry picking and pottery painting are her favorite. She believes in stimulating but low-energy leisure time to unwind.

✨ ~ Sooo protective. She hates the ideology that you should let kids do unsafe things and they’ll find out why it’s unsafe. She has to constantly stop herself from being a helicopter mom.

Agere Katsuki is constantly on my one track mind I love him so much it hurts…my shayla…

I’m probably gonna make a moodboard of him soon cuz I just realized my lack of MHA moodboards 😟

💥/💣 ~ Katsuki is mostly a toddler regressor (4-5 ish) but depending on the trigger, he can also slide to about 14. 100% trauma based and involuntary.

💥/💣 ~ He started impurely regressing directly after the sludge villain incident, but it became more frequent post-kidnapping. That came with a buy-one-get-one-free deal of unbearable panic attacks. He refused to look it up or seek help at first, but eventually it got to the point Aizawa caught on.

💥 ~ He doesn’t have a set caretaker, and nor does he really want one. Aizawa gave him a basic list of rules just to get by, but he likes to be little alone. Sometimes he’ll go hover around Eijirou or Izuku if he wants attention or needs something from them.

💥 ~ Struggles with selective mutism, especially in front of authority. This brings on some pretty bad meltdowns and aggression, mostly out of frustration. But nine times out of ten, he is VERY verbal and expressive.

💥 ~ Little Einsteins and Bubble Guppies stan. He likes everything educational. Would absolutely hate shows like SpongeBob because he thinks they’re idiotic. (He’s a lot like Squidward honestly.)

💥 ~ Pretty limited gear, but only because he’s ashamed to get more. Owns one All Might sippy cup, a Best-Jeanist themed notebook that he made into a regression journal, a childhood stuffed animal and a pacifier (courtesy of Eijirou because Katsuki was too uncomfortable to buy it himself.) However, he has acquired a questionable amount of Pokémon cards and tech decks that he busies himself with.

💥 ~ A biter. He doesn’t even need the straw on his juice box, he just stabs puncture wounds right through it. Ever since he started allowing himself to be comfortably little, he’s had to replace about eight torn shirts. His wallet isn’t too supportive of his new coping mechanism.

💥 ~ He owns only one stuffed animal that he’s had since he was five; a floppy, gray dragon with green wings and horns. It’s ripped about a million times and he’s had to reluctantly ask Izuku’s mom to stitch it back to health over and over, but he refuses to get rid of it or buy a new one. He named it Randy.

💥 ~ Very particular about physical affection. Prefers to initiate and hold rather than be held. Has strict boundaries against being touched on the neck and wrists. Huge fan of subtle touch like hand-holding and leaning, but he cannot handle hugs. They’re too restricting.

💣 ~ In his middle headspace, he’s very easily triggered by certain people. More specifically his mom and Izuku, ironically. Because he’s a bit older, he’s more conscious, but no less reactive.

💣 ~ Strangely, he takes a liking to Yaomomo and Iida. He’s very anxious and perfectionistic, so he appreciates their fixed routines and how collected they are.

💣 ~ Absolutely no physical contact. Even the thought makes him nauseous.

💣 ~ He really likes Minecraft and God of War.

⚡️ - usually regresses to around 4-6, but he can go younger if he’s sleepy or overwhelmed. he regresses pretty often and it’s almost always his choice. he just likes being small and thinks it’s really fun! he’s only ever forced into headspace after he uses his quirk too much and short circuits. it just takes a lot of his brain energy to make that much electricity and it needs to reset and heal by having some rest— which means he has to regress for a couple hours afterwards, minimum. he tends to avoid regressing when he’s upset or hurt because he hates how much more he feels while small. in terms of coping mechanisms, he mostly uses this one for stress relief more than anything.

⚡️ - very hyperactive kiddo! he has adhd and quite a sweet tooth so he’s almost always hyped up on sugar or dopamine. he can be very whiny about what his caregivers try to feed him and he drags his feet for pretty much any healthy habit. is it really too much to ask for dessert before dinner? or having juice that isn’t diluted with water? why does he have to brush his teeth so many times a day? honestly, it’s just ludicrous! he also really struggles in class to sit down and pay attention, and this is nearly tripled when he’s regressed. he doesn’t care about hero law and textbooks! he wants to go outside and roughhouse with his friends instead! he’s allowed to have fidget toys at his desk and he’s almost always doodling on his papers while he half-heartedly listens to his lectures, barely old enough to internalize any of it. his friends are nice enough to give him a crash course on the lesson when he needs it, though.

⚡️ - he really likes books and games! the only way to make him sit still is to put a game console or book in front of him. he likes reading chapter books meant for younger kids in english because it helps him feel like he’s younger and still learning to read, despite the fact that he’s actually pretty good at english anyways. he gets very excited and proud of himself when he finishes a book all by himself and doesn’t need to look up any words for it. as for games, he’s a handheld player! whether it’s a gameboy, DS, or a switch, denki is usually curled up around a screen (which his caregivers hate because it ruins his posture and makes his back ache). he really likes pokémon, mario, and anything that has levels or some kind of goals to meet. he’s really bad with more open games because he gets stuck not knowing what to do, so he never really got into animal crossing or minecraft because of how sandbox-y they can be, but he can still play them with his friends for a couple hours before he gets bored and drops them for a few weeks.

⚡️ - he doesn’t care much for regression gear. he finds that he doesn’t really use it as often as he’d like and it makes him upset that he can’t engage with his regression in a more “stereotypical” way. that said, he does like having a pacifier or some kind of chewelry when he’s doing something (homework, gaming, reading, anything that requires focus) because he uses it to orally stim. he likes sippy cups and straws for the same reason— though, he does tend to destroy the mouth pieces and the tops of his straws because he chews on them, even after he’s finished his drink. he does the same thing with headphone wires (which jirou hates for obvious reasons), the collars of his shirts (which his mother hates because he’s ruined every shirt he owns), and the end of his tie or hoodie strings (which bakugou hates because it’s “unsanitary”).

⚡️ - he gets really bad involuntary muscle spasms, similar to tics and bordering on seizure-like at their worst, because of his quirk. it’s especially bad right before and during thunderstorms, but sometimes it just randomly happens on bad days (or maybe it makes the days bad— he can’t tell). they sometimes cause the lights to flicker or black out entirely and it’s always exhausting and painful, leaving him sore and achey for hours or days afterwards. this is probably the only exception to his want to keep his regression chill and happy. it just hurts really badly and it’s easier to cry and be comforted when he’s really small and cuddled by a caregiver as he goes through it.

⚡️ - he really likes sleep overs and tends to crash in any dorm that isn’t his. he doesn’t like being alone and he loves his friends so much that he just prefers sleeping with them over being in his own room. he isn’t very picky about it either; denki crashes hard and is a really deep sleeper, and he’s able to sleep on just about anything. in sero’s room, he exclusively sleeps on a beanbag. in jirou’s room, he’s fallen asleep at the foot of her bed more times than she can count while listening to her play guitar. in bakugou’s room, he sleeps on the floor with a random blanket halfheartedly thrown on top of him. and in mina’s room, he usually cuddles with her in bed but he’s fallen asleep at her desk/vanity a couple times and if she couldn’t manage to wake him, she’d just leave him since he’s a bit too heavy for her to pick up.

⚡️ - I know this fandom is very split on weed hcs so feel free to skip this one, but I actually hc denki as being prescribed medical marijuana to deal with his seizure/epilepsy-like symptoms. Ik it’s illegal in japan but this is the future!!! because this is a quirk issue and not really a brain condition, it would make sense to me that traditional medications wouldn’t really work for him and that this would be something that can help because of how it can act as an anti-convulsant. he doesn’t take it all the time or anything, but he usually will pop a gummy when it’s a one of those bad/stormy days and ride it out (and he will sometimes just take one to chill out because ua is really stressful, it can really help with his adhd, and his prescription is pretty lenient about his doses). this also means that there are many times where he’s small and under the influence and it can help keep things running smoothly and more enjoyably for him. his caregivers have a rule that he can’t be small and high alone but, other than that, he’s free to do whatever and being high really helps him connect with the younger parts of his headspace in a way that he can’t usually— letting him play and pretend without the inhibitions that come with growing up.

🍜 ~ Izuku has a wide regression range, but it typically sits between 4-7 and 12-14. For very obvious reasons, Shoto regresses down to 2-5.

📓 ~ Yapper and listener. Izuku’s the biggest chatterbox ever. He simply cannot be a quiet coyote. He hums while coloring, reads his comics out loud, and mutters Disney movie analyses while it’s actively streaming. It can be a little overstimulating for Shoto, who’s non-verbal 90% of the time, but he refuses to complain.

🍜 ~ Shoto, when regressed younger, looks up to Izuku like an older brother. He mimics everything he does and listens to him with literally zero question (when he can physically ask one.) If he’s stomping his foot and huffing, Izuku steps in and gently corrects him within two seconds. It’s a bit embarrassing for his caregiver.

📓 ~ They have very different gear! Izuku actually doesn’t like pacifiers much, but Shoto could probably make a living off selling his collection. Shoto likes bottles and sippy cups, while Izuku will only drink water if it’s from his 13 year old, plastic All Might cup. They do share some things though, like comics and art supplies.

🍜 ~ Both struggle with impure regression. That’s how they came to find out about each other in the first place. Izuku experiences it mostly in his older/middle headspace and it’s pretty much always involuntary. Shoto started off by impure regressing every time he slipped, only getting hit harder whenever he tried to push it away. It was rough.

📓 ~ They’re iPad kids. That’s it. That’s the tweet.

🍜 ~ Instead of stuffed animals, they’re obsessed with figurines. Izuku bought a bunch of cheap ones that he wouldn’t care about too much if they broke and he literally sleeps with them. Prior to Izuku, Shoto didn’t have any toys whatsoever. When Izuku discovered this, he lended him one of his All Might figures. It was never returned, however, as it’s now one of his biggest comfort objects.

📓 ~ Hugs and hand holding aren’t enough. They need a magnetic force to keep them together or they will simply self destruct. If anyone tries to separate them, be ready to wrestle two kicking, screaming, 135 lbs boys off each other. You just can’t. They’re a package deal.

🍜 ~ Shoto has trouble regulating his emotions and understanding what he feels, so he tends to get extremely fussy. Izuku’s gotten the hang of helping him out in his older headspace or when he’s not regressed, going through a short checklist of things he possibly needs, like food, a bottle, a hug, etc. If he still can’t figure it out, they pull out the Feelings Wheel™️.

💚 - izuku has been regressing since middle school and he usually regresses to an age range of 2-4. he’s quiet and incredibly self sufficient after years of raising himself under a working single mother. even while regressed, he maintains a journal where he meticulously logs things and data collects about what he likes and doesn’t like. he has a system and it works for him. when he starts training for, and starts attending, ua, his regression gets knocked to the back burner while he focuses on everything else happening in his life. it basically leads to a year of him burning out and impurely regressing because he keeps putting it off.

💜 - hitoshi finds out about it when he joins the hero course and moves into the dorms. he’s a chronic night owl and while you’re not supposed to leave your dorm room after lights out, that’s a guideline at best and aizawa has too much favoritism to actually punish him for being out and awake at three in the morning. he finds izuku huddled up in the commons, crying after a nightmare, and genuinely stands there awkwardly for like thirty seconds before sighing and deciding that the better thing to do is to comfort him. of course, this leads to a lap full of his sobbing classmate/rival and a VERY awkward conversation in the morning where izuku spends two hours writing a super long text explaining age regression and apologizing for his behavior and hitoshi just responds with “ok 👍”

💚 - it leads to a never-ending cycle of little izuku seeking hitoshi out constantly since he’s the only one that knows about his regression and then big izuku furiously apologizing in the morning, swearing that it won’t happen again (and it always goes). little izu is very attached to hitoshi— he views hitoshi as this insanely rad older kid (you know, like a little brother would) and hitoshi is really uncomfortable with the attention but it’s like… a pleased discomfort. he’s never had anyone treat him like he’s the coolest thing ever so he just rolls with it. eventually, hitoshi tells him to stop apologizing after the fact because he doesn’t hate hanging around a baby that looks at him like he’s the literal definition of awesomeness and that leads to them having their first ACTUAL conversation about it.

💜 - they’re both autistic but in very different ways so their dynamic struggles just as much as it works. Izuku is very understimulated all the time (especially while small) so he’s constantly talking, stimming, and seeking out things to do. hitoshi, meanwhile, is insanely easy to overstimulate but he knows that if he says anything about it, izuku will shut down and never speak again just to make him comfortable and that’s not what he wants. the solution is a truly incredible amount of parallel play while they listen to hitoshi’s safe playlists music or while hitoshi wears noise canceling headphones (that one usually only happens when he puts on a show/movie for izuku or has had a really bad day). sometimes hitoshi will use little izuku to help him study because the kid’s literal special interest is heroics, he’s got an insane memory, and hitoshi has neither of those things so going over study cards with izuku or making up games quizzing him is both fun and beneficial for hitoshi’s grades.

💚 - hitoshi struggles a lot with physical affection while izuku is very tactile. it leads to a lot of back and forth where they try to figure out the middle ground or ways of signaling when something’s okay. hitoshi is fine with hand holding (as long as he has sleeves that can cover his hands or he’s wearing gloves) and he can cuddle in small doses, so that’s 95% of what izuku initiates. he’s always holding hitoshi’s hand and he’s very sweet and considerate about making sure that hitoshi’s okay with it (to the degree that hitoshi has to constantly remind izuku that he, hitoshi, is the older one who should do all the worrying). in return, hitoshi gives izuku a lot of large stuffed animals wearing his shirts (or cologne for smaller things) so izuku has something to cuddle with still. izuku’s favorite is this really dumb looking stuffed crow that’s wearing yellow rain boots and a yellow bucket hat that hitoshi offhandedly won him during a festival (could be school festival or the class deciding to go out for the weekend). hitoshi has no idea why he likes it so much but izuku is obsessed with it.

💜 - because of izuku’s excessive cataloging, it’s actually really easy for hitoshi to take care of him. they weren’t really friends prior to this point so most of what he learns about izuku comes from his journals. he learns his favorite food, his favorite toys, his favorite movies and tv shows, his favorite sensory objects, and what he enjoys doing; and, for the most part, a lot of this stuff either overlaps with izuku when he’s big or he states in his journals where his interests deviate and his theories for why that might be. it gets to a point where hitoshi will overhear someone asking about what izuku might like for his birthday or a holiday and he’s just able to answer despite the fact that he and izuku rarely hang out around other people so practically no one (except iida, uraraka, and bakugou) know that they’re even friends. it also means that hitoshi knows about izuku’s triggers and a lot of the traumas that he’s experienced. there’s a lot that izuku purposefully redacts when he lets hitoshi read his journals, but there’s still a lot there that makes hitoshi realize that they really aren’t that different after all.

💥 ~ Katsuki is a toddler regressor, while Eijirou is a middle regressor. They regress to 4 and 14 respectively, Katsuki a lot more often than Eijirou.

🦈 ~ Eijirou has an oral fixation that gets more prominent when he slips. A lot of the time, he’ll subconsciously chew on water bottle caps or his shirt collar, which Katsuki immediately shuts down with a chew necklace and a scolding for ruining his teeth.

💥 ~ Food is tricky for Katsuki. He’s not necessarily picky but his sensory issues get in the way. This has resulted in Eijirou having to get real creative with his snacks to incorporate healthy foods and even beg Aizawa to let them order takeout on multiple occasions, lest the boy starve.

🦈 ~ Contrarily, food is practically Eijirou’s love language. On the days his regression fog and insecurity won’t let him out of bed, Katsuki will deliver him a fresh, home-cooked meal. Every time, without fail.

💥 ~ It’s not uncommon for Katsuki to go non-verbal when he slips, especially in the presence of authority figures. After unveiling this discovery, Eijirou took it upon himself to make him communication cards. He let Katsuki write some too, which consisted of an ungodly amount of insults and vulgarity.

💥 ~ Katsuki has a fascination with insects, especially millipedes. Eijirou deliberately floods him with questions about bugs just to see his face light up at the opportunity to talk about them. His favorite pet name for him is bug.

🦈 ~ Eijirou’s random EBay shark and Katsuki’s IKEA octopus are best friends.

💥 ~ They both keep their gear in Eijirou’s dorm because it’s easier to hide. Eijirou doesn’t have much since his regression doesn’t change his behavior as drastically, mostly just chewelry and a regression journal. Katsuki didn’t allow himself gear out of shame, but Eijirou buys him some in secret and shows him when he’s little.

🦈 ~ Eijirou’s regression is completely involuntary and spaced out. No matter how hard he tries, he just can’t slip if he isn’t negatively triggered. But during bad stress highs, Katsuki treats him as if he’s regressed anyway to calm him down.

💥 ~ Katsuki hates being dependent, so often-times, Eijirou will give him small tasks to do like picking up his toys just to satiate him, even though he doesn’t mind doing it himself.

- He is the #1 SpongeBob SquarePants fan and he has proof

His favorite show is absolutely SpongeBob. When he felt overstimulated as a kid, he would shut himself into his closet and watch SpongeBob on his tablet for an hour. That habit stuck apparently. His favorite character is, unsurprisingly, SpongeBob SquarePants himself and he has a not-so-hidden collection of merchandise in his dorm room stashed under his bed. He believes Mr. Krabs is the worst character in existence.

- He has severe ADHD and stims all the time while in headspace

He has severe ADHD and cannot sit still no matter what while he’s regressed. He does a decent job keeping himself in check outside of headspace but completely loses his grip on his behavior when in it. Think always stimming, using his quirk just for the zapping noise, play fighting, swinging his legs, constantly climbing things.

- He loves climbing trees and will not get down if asked

Speaking of climbing things, he’s totally a tree-climber. Rain or shine, he’ll escape the dorms to climb up his favorite tree and go on the highest branch possible. When Mina or Kirishima advise him to get down in a panic, he simply cackles and moves up higher. He has fallen twice before and was given Pikachu bandaids for being strong about it. (He cried.)

- He IS Picasso and he is Sero’s muse

He thinks he’s the reincarnation of Picasso. When he’s not outside being dangerous or playing Nintendo games on his DS, he’ll draw pictures of his friends entirely with Crayola markers (or Cra-Z-art when they’re on a budget.) He shows it to them with the most prideful smile on his face, and if Bakugou dares to critique his masterpiece, Mina will defend him with her life. Sero is usually the most impressed, having no art skills himself. He adores the unmatched colors and incomprehensible scribbles. He does truly believe they deserve to be in a museum.

- He uses Bakugou as his personal schedule

Although Bakugou isn’t the most ideal babysitter, there is one thing he’s good for: routine. Katsuki is OBSESSED with routine and he cannot proceed with his day without one. That being said, Kaminari always follows in his footsteps. “Oh, it’s time for lunch? Right, I forgot about that!” “You’re going to shower? Wait, did I shower today?” “Bed time already..? Wait for me, you old geezer.” Bakugou doesn’t necessarily mind the extra company. He helps him out with duties like organizing his room and meal prep, lowering the volume on his hearing aids to tune out Kaminari’s inconsistent rambling.

- He has nightmares, but they are no match for cuddles and Studio Ghibli movies on a Wednesday night

He does have occasional nightmares, mostly concerning the USJ incident and the war. He gets incredibly claustrophobic and tends to accidentally electrocute anybody that tries coming near. But with the help of a weighted blanket and his stuffed animal Giraffe, he calms down slowly. If he’s lucky, his friends will sleep over for the night without admin’s knowledge and watch Studio Ghibli movies with him, which successfully lulls him back to sleep every time.
