Doom regarding Reed, interview excerpts from Doctor Doom writer Christopher Cantwell
I do believe Reed can psychologically torture Victor in ways that he might not even realize. Reed is Doom’s Achilles heel. Always will be. Reed will always be in his head. And Reed is smart enough to know that, so the question becomes obvious: why isn’t Reed doing more to correct that dynamic? Perhaps he knows he’s a fixture in Victor’s head and is glad to stay there and stir things up.
Doom brings Reed up whenever he can no matter what the topic of conversation is. ’Hey, I’m gonna go to Starbucks, Victor, want anything—’ ‘I would like Reed Richards’ stretchy head on a platter.’ Reed is like, ‘I’m doing these experiments and saving the world.’
I feel like Reed thinks about Victor maybe once a week. I feel like Victor wakes up and Reed’s face is the first thing he sees in his mind. At Victor’s funeral, Reed would probably be stoic and say something like ‘His was a tremendous mind’ and that would be that. At Reed’s funeral, Victor would be sobbing and wrapping himself around the casket. He would be crying louder than Sue for god’s sake.

There's just something about these brief interactions between Jazz and Prowl in this comic that I really like.
Even beyond thinking of this in a shipping way (I know what you are🫵), it's kind of a shame these two haven't interacted that often in the more "mainstream" TF media because they definitely have the potential for a fun dynamic.

Let me tell you a little something's about that "85-year-old cartoon," miss Zegler.
It was the first-ever cel-animated feature-length full-color film. Ever. Ever. EVER. I'm worried that you're not hearing me. This movie was Disney inventing the modern animated film. Spirited Away, Into the Spider-Verse, Tangled, you don't get to have any of these without Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937.)
Speaking of what you wouldn't get without this movie, it includes anime as a genre. Not just in technique (because again, nobody animated more than shorts before this movie) but in style and story. Anime, as it is now, wouldn't exist without Osamu Tezuka, "The God of Manga," who wouldn't have pioneered anime storytelling in the 1940s without having watched and learned from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the 1930s. No "weeb" culture, no Princess Mononoke, no DragonBall Z, no My Hero Academia, no Demonslayer, and no Naruto without this "85-year-old cartoon."
It was praised, not just for its technical marvels, not just for its synchronized craft of sound and action, but primarily and enduringly because people felt like the characters were real. They felt more like they were watching something true to life than they did watching silent, live-action films with real actors and actresses. They couldn't believe that an animated character could make kids wet their pants as she flees, frightened, through the forest, or grown adults cry with grieving Dwarves. Consistently.
Walt Disney Studios was built on this movie. No no; you're not understanding me. Literally, the studio in Burbank, out of which has come legends of this craft of animated filmmaking, was literally built on the incredible, odds-defying, record-breaking profits of just Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, specifically.
Speaking of record-breaking profits, this movie is the highest-grossing animated film in history. Still. TO THIS DAY. And it was made during the Great Depression.
In fact, it made four times as much money than any other film, in any other genre, released during that time period. It was actually THE highest-grossing film of all time, in any genre, until nothing less than Gone With the Wind, herself, came along to take the throne.
It was the first-ever animated movie to be selected for the National Film Registry. Actually, it was one of the first movies, period, to ever go into the registry at all. You know what else is in the NFR? The original West Side Story, the remake of which is responsible for Rachel Ziegler's widespread fame.
Walt Disney sacrificed for this movie to be invented. Literally, he took out a mortgage on his house and screened the movie to banks for loans to finish paying for it, because everyone from the media to his own wife and brother told him he was crazy to make this movie. And you want to tell me it's just an 85-year-old cartoon that needs the most meaningless of updates, with your tender 8 years in the business?
Speaking of sacrifice, this movie employed over 750 people, and they worked immeasurable hours of overtime, and invented--literally invented--so many new techniques that are still used in filmmaking today, that Walt Disney, in a move that NO OTHER STUDIO IN HOLLYWOOD was doing in the 30's, put this in the opening credits: "My sincere appreciation to the members of my staff whose loyalty and creative endeavor made possible this production." Not the end credits, like movies love to do today as a virtue-signal. The opening credits.
It's legacy endures. Your little "85-year-old cartoon" sold more than 1 million DVD copies upon re-release. Just on its first day. The Beatles quoted Snow White in one of their songs. Legacy directors call it "the greatest film ever made." Everything from Rolling Stones to the American Film Institute call this move one of the most influential masterpieces of our culture. This movie doesn't need anything from anybody. This movie is a cultural juggernaut for America. It's a staple in the art of filmmaking--and art, in general. It is the foundation of the Walt Disney Company, of modern children's media in the West, and of modern adaptations of classical fairy tales in the West. When you think only in the base, low, mean terms of "race" and "progressivism" you start taking things that are actually worlds-away from being in your league to judge, and you relegate them to silly ignorant phrases like "85-year-old cartoon" to explain why what you're doing is somehow better.
Sit down and be humble. Who the heck are you?

Fry being like "maybe I should look for love closer to home" and then turning to Leela and Amy instead of the guy who started a robot uprising because Fry didn't pay enough attention to him (selling his own child in the process) and then not only dragged an eldritch being back from another dimension to get Fry back but did the whole thing with a pirate theme to impress him. The guy whom Fry clearly missed in so called "heaven" because he immediately went behind Yvo's back to contact him. He really is the dumbest boy on earth...
No intention of offending the "Americans" but I'm so tired of seeing posts crying about the election results. Please stop bothering the rest of the world until, idk, the orange man starts a 3rd world war or smt.
And before you get all pissy: I'm from Latin America. My democracy is younger than my mum due to a military coup YOU GUYS funded. I know about bad leaders, we've seen bad goverments literaly massacring their populations and face no consecuentes and international media didn't bat an eye. I mean take a look at Venezuela. Nicaragua, too, has been under a cruel dictatorship for years and no one cares. And things in Cuba are crítical at the moment. And let's not talk about Africa and the Middle East, where the idea of democracy is simply a joke.
You're going to survive this, so stop believing the hysteria fostered by the media. And stop hating those who vote different than you, because division is what keeps you from being educated, benefiting groups who want to hold all the power. If you want a better country you need to find the positive things among each other, not the negative ones.
Believe us: we know.
Your sutuation isn't this bad. Your government can't kidnap and murder Americans without facing consequences. As much as you say you don't you DO have freedom if speech. You have clean, free elections.
I'm going to say it again: you're going to survive this, like your ancestors survived war by fleeing from Europe, sirvived famine by working alongside each other, and survived poverty by educating yourselves.
You're going to survive this.

I’ve never stopped thinking about this line, so! What the fuck is up with Prowl and Bumblebee’s relationship? (Spoiler alert: I do not think Bee is another ex 😔)
They first met millions of years ago when Bumblebee went to Orion Pax for help regarding horrible dream he’d been having, and from there remained in each other’s orbits, though not really friends.

During the war, they got along fine, but in the one snapshot we see there’s not a lot of friendliness between them: Prowl is talking about the futility of their war and Bumblebee happens to be someone nearby. There’s a familiarity to the way they talk to each other (I doubt many people would bother or could get away with calling Prowl “bud”), but it’s more like coworkers who have been stepping on each other’s toes for a long time than real friends. The conversation begins and ends with Prowl’s internal monologue, while Bumblebee’s perspective is just a device used to draw out more of Prowl’s thoughts. Little is shown of their relationship because at this point, it just isn’t there.

(”the ‘Bee” lol Costa’s Prowl is a specimen) Half a million years later, they’re on Earth, Bumblebee has been elected and then demoted, and Optimus is leaving with most of the Autobots while assigning them to investigate the illegal weapons trade. Prowl has thoughts on Bumblebee’s leadership, which will be the ongoing theme of their relationship for the rest of the series. In typical Prowl fashion, he will never speak these particular thoughts aloud. (continues under the cut!)
