Welp, to cope with stress I have gone ahead and started designing a plush pattern for Glisten. He's kinda designed to work like a fashion doll where I can make him clothes and accessories. Think I'll make him jointed too.
Right now im using adobe illustrator to plan out the pattern since vector graphic make it easier to edit things and adobe lets you measure the length of lines in inches which helps with scale. (If yall know an alternative that can do the same thing please let me know).
Figured id keep yall updated on the plush making progress, right now glistens hair is stressing me out, im planning on using a technique similar to The-Crafty-Kaiju's method on Deviantart wish me luck, definitely gonna test it when i can.
Finished Liam's zippers btw, ill post a pic or video when i can.
I got into a creature design kick, maybe I’ll use these guys for a story.
Still trying to figure out parts of the plush, namely the hair and feet rn.
while he's going to be jointed, i still want to keep this plush as simple as possible, so a lot of parts are two pieces (the arms, legs, and body) but im not sure how the feet will come out if its two pieces. So i may try to make something out of clay and get a pattern from that.
Wrists were originally supposed to be jointed but nah i dont want to complicate things, so ignore the line there.
the mirror with the face embroidery is gonna be a separate part sewed onto the rim (pray for me)
Hair is giving me the most headaches cause i abandoned the intial idea which you can see in the previous post. I was thinking about sewing on a back piece to the hair and stuffing it kinda like how you would do paw pads on a fursuit might actually make the back piece into the front piece instead so that the hair sticks out more and use embroidery to define the swirl. idk if that makes sense. Besides that I might give the bottom of the head a slightly flatter base so it stays on the body better.
Right now the plush is looking to be 15 inches so that some parts aren't too small to sew.
If y'all have any thoughts about it let me know.

While I try and get into the swing of things after escaping the horror of college, here's an old drawing of mine about two years ago.
Still planning to work on the second Insomnia video, here's a doodle meanwhile.
I also have a big doodle dump with designs and concepts that I'm sure you guys will like, once the video is finished.
My brother came up with an amazing idea. Bandana Dee in Kirby Air Ride folks!
So it turns out I can't use After Effects anymore until sometime in January (maybe the 15th), which was what I was using to make the Insomnia videos. I could try to pick up another software to finish the video, but I don't really know any free alternatives that could use a AEP file. While I still have the doodle dump and other things planned, I kinda still feel its necessary to do everything in order. I do have some other stuff to work on meanwhile unrelated to the AU, got other art to show off, plus I'm planning to pick up a sewing project Ive been putting off for a bit. I'll post some progress pics. I'm still planning on getting this stuff done, I've been pushing myself to get projects finished.
While I'm kinda set on this decision, I still want to hear your thoughts, maybe you'll convince me to do something.
Be nice though, I'm sensitive /j
It'll likely change over time, hope yall like it
This was made awhile ago, but I thought it would be cool if Olimar had to make a new suit from creatures around the area.
