It looks so promising! Just the summary itself is an art already, definitely looking forward for any kind of content <333
It’s gotten too quiet. Far too quiet. The wind doesn’t rush through the jagged rocks and twisted metal, the eagle doesn’t cry out high overhead. Not even the haunting static, nor the low mechanical hum. In this canyon, walls of glass and stone and shattered metal, no sound enters. No sound escapes. No screams of the dying, just the silence of those long dead.
Long dead. Like you.
Lost Birds is a post-apocalyptic story of survival and revenge, set in a distant and bleak future where everything that could go wrong, has.
You see, the end of the world wasn’t too bad. A flash of light, a searing heat, the taste of metal in your mouth. Waking up in a scorched plain to skies as black as the soil, to the first rain you had seen in years. Alone, you set off. One destination in mind. One purpose in mind.
You were not the only one to survive. The wilds have come alive again, stranger and more beautiful than ever. The people have come alive again, rebuilding on the frontiers, escaping the few cities left unscathed.
You find yourself an outsider amongst outsiders, a desperate seeker, searching for something lost to time and memory. A past hidden away from prying eyes, a future that relies on answers to a question you cannot ask. The promise of information brings you to a city sunken into the earth, secrets buried in the catacombs below. Your journey begins and ends there. Betrayed, dying with a question on your lips.
Dying wasn’t too bad. A fading of the light, a bitter coldness, the taste of blood in your mouth. Waking up, however, was as unpleasant as it was unexpected.
What to Expect:
Semi-customizable MC: choose your gender and personality, make impactful choices.
A blending of genres, from solarpunk to post-apocalyptic, with influences from westerns, cyberpunk and traditional science fiction.
A beautiful, surreal, and often dangerous new world to explore.
Immortality, as long as you’re not too picky about the definition.
A non-linear story, jumping back and forth between past, present and future.
Revenge. Maybe.
Your Companions:
The Ghost [nb]: A… being… from the place where nothing grows. A master tracker, as silent, swift and deadly as the prey they hunt.
The Traitor [m]: A young man wearing a battered uniform and a plethora of wounds, as lost morally as he is physically. The folks out here don’t take kindly to those with flexible loyalties.
The Deputy [f]: The judge, jury and executioner, both lawman and lawmaker. She may be harsh, but never make the mistake of calling her cruel to those she governs.
The Gunslinger [m, f, nb]: A fellow mercenary with a rather peculiar moral code. A fast hand and a faster wit.
The Archangel [f]: Your protector, a voice that woke you from death itself. A flickering hologram of a dead woman.

It’s official! I’m writing The Watchwood again (finally, I know it’s been a year). Thanks for being patient, y’all.
For those who missed it, I put Watchwood on the back burner because of, well. Y’know. Everything that happened like right after we released the first demo build. The Watchwood is a story that deals really heavily with trauma and recovery, and I just could not write scenes that were intended to be traumatic for characters, or scenes that were intended to refer to characters’ past trauma, while living through a new global traumatic event.
Obviously the pandemic isn’t over yet, but things are looking up- at least in my corner of the world- so here I am, picking it back up. Can’t promise a when, but we’ll be getting a new demo build out in the nebulous near future.
There are a few changes being made! Namely, we’re switching to Twine. This was a big decision and we aren’t going to get into the whys of it, but it is ultimately the best option for us.
Secondly, the ROs will no longer be gender-variable. I’ve realized in writing them that I have very specific thoughts and feelings about gender identities and gender presentations that I want to write through each of them, and while it would be possible to write that in if they’re gender variable, it would be much, much harder to orchestrate ways to actually have those thoughts and feelings be part of the text of the game!
I want the ROs to feel like real, fully-fleshed people, and I’m going to be much better able to do that with their genders locked in place.
So instead of S, B, and V, your romance options are now
Salomón de la Puerta (he/him), the spacey and kind of airheaded fortune teller who operates Greyvale’s metaphys supply shop.
Bridget Schmidt (she/her), a determined and friendly painter who runs Greyvale’s gas station & convenience store.
Vi Dearborn (they/them), a curious and clever writer who has, after a fashion, taken up residence at the local bakery.
Looking forward to getting a new demo build out to y’all soon. <3

Ohhh in the Gakuen Heaven game-novels the main character possess extreme luck gift! It would be super fun to see something like this implemented 0:
Is it bad that I want a skill that's literally just "dumb luck"???
ooo! thank you for mentioning it bc now that i think about that would be really fun lmao. just kind of blundering your way through the contracts and being like “yeah i meant to do that!” i’m not sure how i’d implement it, whether it’d be its own independent stat or some hidden one but i’ll see what i can do. if anyone has any suggestions let me know!
Thank you for giving me ideas for the next ask in ur tags 😊
ok- ok- bUT what if the roles were reversed? Huh? The heir is RO, but their personality is still the same. Whether or not such ROs would fall in love with MC?👁️👁️ (especially in X's route...)
Aand because I'm infuriatingly spamming the inbox, - what would happen if, while doing the bed-tango, someone walks in on RO and MC?👁️👁️
hubby i'm afraid to ask but WHAt is the bed-tango
and about the roles switch KJDKJK i guess it depends
X likes flirting with their archnemesis because they're on the bad side, but would they do the same if it was the opposite? (yes
W would go even more professional KJDKKM one thing is the heir fliting with the squire, another is the squire flirting with the heir
R would most definitely enjoy it KJDKM it would be a way out of all the fanciness
C would probably be a little more scared of relationships since it's a title better than their actual, so scandals would be even harder to control
The Potential RO’s (AKA the students who can crush on the MC)
Vitalius Ornstein/Astasus Ehrenreich:
Human Male, 9 - The stolen and presumed dead prince of the human Ornstein Empire, Astasus is the original Carmine’s love interest, and the source of her demise; in the first book, through his heroic deeds he managed to bring the Ehrenreich Organization to its knees. Now, he is but a boy caught in the plot of the story you know, eager to please and determined to have your back no matter what.
Eratine Ehrenreich:
Male Blood Elf, 11 - Among the first to die originally, Eratine is a snarky and abrasive brat determined to make your nightmarish life in Ehrenreich all the worse. The second he lays eyes on you he hates you, though he doesn’t seem to get along well with his other classmates either. Still, when you need him most he will do his best to rise to the occasion and his constant nagging seems to be a cover for the very real concern he holds for the others.
Bernadine Ehrenreich:
Female Electra, 12 - Bernadine is a quiet and observant genius who always keeps to herself. Using her inborn abilities to handle and use tech, Bernadine spends her days skipping class and experimenting in her room. The others avoid her and she goes out of her way to avoid them - she has plans, and the other students would only get in the way.
Brigid Ehrenreich:
Female Fae, 11 - Upon learning that her iridescent eyes link her to fae royalty, Brigid will only respond to the name she chose from the historical records of Theun: Princess Hesychia Meloda Ionnina. She’s haughty and high strung, believing that her placement in Ehrenreich is some mistake, and that any day now she’ll be taken to the Theun Organization: Libraria. Believing it to be her ‘noble’ duty, she’s the first to help you when you need it and the first to hide behind you when danger approaches.
Miki-Tane Ehrenreich
Male Xidhe, 12 - Despite his academic genius, Miki is always looking to have fun, often at the expense of others. He’s the first to chant: “Fight!” when fists fly, and he’s the first one blamed when Eratine wakes up with scribbles on his face. Still, when things go bump in the night he’s the one baring the door and when the others are in danger he’s the first to step in front of them.
Diacinth Ehrenreich
Male High Elf, 10 - In the original book, Diacinth was the last of the other students to die - his constant use of invisibility charms and hatred of talking meant he was able to outlast most. He’s painfully shy, though you’d need to be able to see him first to try and start a conversation. He doesn’t sleep in his bed, opting to sleep underneath it, and the few times you catch him unawares he runs away. Still, when you need a pencil sharpener or an eraser, one will magically appear on your desk where the wasn’t one before.
Nonnatus Ehrenreich
Human Male, 10 - Nonnatus wasn’t raised in the church; abused and neglected by a cruel merchant for his powers, he sees the Church as his saviour. Despite the danger lurking around every corner, he refuses to believe the Church or the teachers are behind it. Fiercely loyal and determined to turn a blind eye to all the horrors Ehrenreich has to offer, he sees the others as doubters in the Church’s majesty, you included, and antagonizes them at all costs.
VERY UNIQUE idea of having to run from your own family!!! As you're supposedly cools-bananas mage whose potential can be reached only through the suffering....or is it?
Hey guys, this will be the tumblr for my Choice of Games WiP, Runaway. Thanks a lot to my friend Kaycie, who helped me set this up and showed me some of the basic functions!
Here’s a link to the forum page: https://forum.choiceofgames.com/t/runaway-wip-small-update-18-february-2021/95121
Game Summary:
You are the only offspring of a prominent noble family in Luce Prima, when you are tested for high latent magical ability. In this world, magic is unlocked in individuals through highly traumatic or stressful events, dubbed an awakening. Due to potential conflicts in the future, high ranking officials decide to force awaken you through inflicting mental trauma. You overhear this plan ahead of time and run away, hoping to find a lead to awaken through untraditional methods. This leads you to a chase after the myth of the first mage and to the undiscovered secrets of magic itself.

i just now realized what you guys meant by crushing/relantionship stage and urgh what a dumb bitch i am
I THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT YOURSELVES
So, long story short, every year before the actual study process we have to go though the test, which allegedly should check our English, and then, according to the score, we would be divided into appropriate for one's skill groups.
