The Codependency of Cherubs

Meant to post this weeks ago, but forgot.

Anyway, the cherubs are favorite characters (and fan-characters) of Homestuck. I find their twisted dynamic and relationships so fascinating, I could listen and talk about it for hours. There are so many ways to interpret their story and so much potential.

that odd feeling between "oh my gosh it was you!" and "wait you're real?" or even "oh dear, I'm so sorry." when I find Christians who act like the negative stereotypes I and my peers would get accused of that I thought were just straw-men until then.

it's just weird finally seeing a group or person after their essence was used as an argument against what you believe or an insult against you.

Yes, I know I haven't posted in months, I just had no ideas

Anyway, I started these drawings like a month ago and only finished them last night, I just wanted to draw my favorite/comfort show

Average Cupid and Mario interaction. She's so confused.

(Cupid has no idea who Dimentio is. There's just an eerie resemblance. She is a trans woman.)

The first one is Limbo/Ouroborous. She's a grumpy old lady who is bitter about everything and was a seamstress/midwife. She's actually very motherly to those she likes, which is few.

The second is my persona, who I call Mari, a little demon but also a "good Christian girl." Her name and design is a pun based on my middle name. "Mary (Marie) had a little lamb," I thought it was funny.

2 wonderfully adorable commissions I bought from the amazing @donnyclaws , who is literally one of my favorite artists and inspirations. You should all commission them, it's worth it!!
