Hi! I wanna share something special!
I have an OC named Manitari whom I adore. She’s a mushroom cat I made with @aposterous ! She’s been getting a lot of attention on Art Fight and the entires are absolutely BEAUTIFUL, so I want to show you them!
Firstly, this is Manitari:
She’s a giant autistic fluffer who lives in a cottage in the woods and her special interest is mushrooms! This ranges from cooking to gardening to… um… getting high…

Welcome to my art, where I only draw refs for characters I never use. Today’s instalment is Void, a character who used to have a purpose (and might again someday), but is currently just a cool design I have.
As their latest lore goes, Void is the spirit of death. They don’t do any of the soul collecting, though. They’re more of a shepherd. They oversee an army of little grim reaper creatures who bring the souls back to the afterlife, where Void tends to them. Void’s gender is ambiguous because they never speak out loud, and they have no obvious physical traits to identify biological sex. They don’t care what people call them, so people just pick whatever works.
This character has sort of been slotted into an idea I had that, in a dream scenario, would be some kind of game. Imagine Creatures of Sonaria but the survival aspects are better. Of course, I lack the motivation and skill to make that idle dream a reality, so it’ll probably never happen. In this hypothetical game, Void would be an NPC that you can do missions for.
Anyway, I’d write more (is it weird to make descriptions long on Tumblr?) but it’s almost midnight and I’m. So tired. See you guys (all 18 of you, wow) tomorrow. If things go to plan, I’ll be posting again on Jan 1st because I do a yearly redraw on New Year’s Eve/Day. I’m excited to work on it. I feel like I’ve improved a lot with my scene art this year, and unless I get lazy I'll probably try to paint it so that might turn out cool. Ok bye

Update: I redid the ref's background and changed her name, but I left the original description under the cut
New OC?? Technically. Not really. This is Anthropos, a character I made 3 years ago and redesigned a week or two ago. She has dug her claws into my brain and is refusing to let go.
Anthropos was one of my sonas in 2020 (although I barely used her). You can see her first design on the ref, but I also have a very underwhelming redesign from 2021 that I’m not going to bother with linking because it sucks, and I spelled her name wrong on it. What’s going on with the name? Reasonable question. It’s short for Anthropomorphic Aposterous.
You can see the old design on the ref. Look at it. It's so ugly. I can't believe I made that and didn't hate myself for it. The new version is a lot better imo. I tried to make the demon theme (because that's a thing) more apparent since the original is just an anthro cat with horns and four ears.
Note: she has a sort of mohawk and a set of long blue spikes at the base of her tail that I couldn’t include on the ref because it’d look weird. Her tail is also technically longer than seen here.

This is Toro! A silly little villain who had a not-so silly childhood :p || I gave him 2 quirks because I spun a wheel and it landed on yes for 2 quirks..so uh..yeah.

◉ - Metal manipulation~
- Toro can bend / break any kind of metal near them. The larger the object, the more energy it requires! For instance, if they wanted to make a building fall from a far, they have to concentrate to the point of passing out to rip out and bend all the support beams -
◉ - Animal transformation~
- Toro can transform into any animal that he wishes to! But he mostly uses his cat and bird form, usually used to blend in and escape a crime scene easily. A UA student accidentally found him in his bird form once, luckily they didn’t notice it was him
