Here's the thing.

At least you get a few years for it. You experience the time as it goes.

Jonathan Kent did not get such a reprieve.

It is over far too fast.

Puberty is hard. An experience. A transitioning, a rite of passage into something newer and terrifying.

Kyptonians aren't quite humans, you know?

Good thing Jon isn't quite either.

Walking is hard. His legs are too long for his body. (They're not. His body is too big for him now. Stretched and growing without him.)

He has to navigate through familiar rooms with unfamiliar dimensions- duck your head or you'll hit that doorway. Don't make that step or you'll stub your toe on that chair that used to be so much further away.

My last few posts haven't had any attention at all, really. And that's been bugging me, especially since my last few posts have all been vent posts. In any case, I certainly hope people are seeing the posts. I don't really want to learn that i've been posting to empty air. Especially not when it's about such complicated things as my existential feelings regarding being on tumblr for four years (and slowly beginning to lose a hyperfixation). So my vent posts have been pretty heavy. I hope somebody sees them. Because if they don't, my paranoia means i'm probably just gonna keep reposting them until someone notices (and thereby validates my feelings). So yeah. I don't really know how to end this post now, but I guess i'm just gonna end it here for now. sigh...

Strange ask but I wanna learn about scripting and storyboarding, do you know any resources online where to learn this stuff/Where you learned to do this?

Most of what I know and what I find useful is stuff I learned on the job and being a board artist/director over the past 7 years. I don't have anything specific but my pal Marie made a great online guide for resources~

Y'know that little bit of control you have over yourself while under mind control ? ( I saw a control type tumblr post I just read into ) I wonder if charlie used it to keep cody out of this . Like he was ordered to get the entire town , wouldn't that include cody ? It obviously would've been very easy since cody hadn't suspected something really bad was happening yet , though hes been suspicious lately . Which is why charlie immediately walked away . You could say " oh but why would he need cody he's just a kid " didnt the phones spread to the *entire* town. That would include the kids , not to mention frankie being the main one searching for cody and it's not because frankie's really smart . Charlie does think very highly of his son . I just thought it was sad , he tried his best to keep cody out of this , especially not chasing him down when he could mess up the " project " and even telling kade to stand down. It just really shows how much Charlie cares for his son ( safety and well being etc )
