For 43 days, Gaza has been under complete siege. No food is entering. No clean water. No fuel. No medicine. Children are starving. Parents are digging through rubble for their loved ones. Hospitals are collapsing. Lives are fading — and the world is watching.
My son is one of the wounded. He was severely injured in an Israeli airstrike. Shrapnel tore through his tiny body. He is bleeding and in urgent need of advanced surgery that cannot be done in Gaza.
As a mother, my heart is breaking — not only from his pain but from my helplessness.
Please, I am begging you: help me save my son’s life.

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! 15 months of displacement and famine have increased our suffering and difficulties incredibly.
I used all the words of sadness and sorrow to describe the situation we had reached, but these words were not enough.
We lost relatives and friends, my brother and father were injured, our house was destroyed, our car was burned, and everything was lost.
The scale of the suffering and tragedy is much greater than what you may have seen or witnessed on social media.

We are a family of ten trying to survive in northern Gaza. We have a rent of $700 that we won’t be able to pay without help, and we will be at the mercy of the drones and the tanks if we have to leave, on top of having to leave behind all of our belongings. The only food we have left is a bag of flour infested with maggots, everything at the market has become insanely expensive.
My sister Soso is only four years old, what kind of life is this for her? My mother and I have been sick and thankfully we finally got the help of a doctor, but that means we had to pay for the medicine as well. The little money we have left isn’t enough to buy anything in the north.
Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. Share at least if you can’t afford to donate.

My name is Alaa Siam, and I am a mother of three children who have been displaced several times. I live in constant fear, especially with my son Ahmad, who is suffering from severe inflammation in his eyes, and I am unable to afford the treatment.
My middle son, Ismail, excels in his studies, but the continuous shelling has stolen educational opportunities from him, causing him to suffer from fear and sadness. As for my eldest daughter, Raghad, who is 15 years old, she is devastated by the harsh conditions she is living in and suffers from severe allergies due to the heat and salinity of the water.
I cannot provide new clothes for them, and they feel embarrassed about their old clothes. My family is living in a hot tent, without any protection. I need help in finding medicine for my children or even providing them with new clothes to restore hope in their eyes.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Help a Family in Need
I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.
Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.
As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.
In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.
Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.
For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.
Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.
Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.
Thank you for reading his story and considering helping a man who has always done everything he can for his loved ones.
