New updates for Sonic Frontiers for 2023 announced, teases new playable characters

In an unexpected update, the official Sonic the Hedgehog social media has confirmed that three major updates are on their way to Sonic Frontiers in 2023.

The one that grabbed fans' attention the most was the third update that teased the possibility of Tails, Knuckles and Amy being playable in a future update.

While I wait for my copy of Sonic Shadow Generations to appear, it'll never happen but I wish there was a cursed sleep over afterwards!

In the context of the newest post, I can see stone "getting captured" by Sonic and Co, and it's actually just him refusing to leave and wanting Eggman to come get him.

He didn't leave until Eggman picked him up.

Chaotix Headcanon

When Charmy has a nightmare, he goes to the other members of the Chaotix for comfort

Here's how I think it would go down with each member:

Vector: When Charmy comes to him in the middle of the night due to a nightmare, he doesn't act as much as the others. Instead, he immediately moves over to let him crawl into bed with him and they fall asleep with him holding him protectively and whispering assurances to help him fall asleep. He waits until morning to ask about the nightmare because he doesn't want to scare him into not sleeping. (Also, seeing him cry breaks him so he does it for himself too) This talk in the morning usually leads to the whole gang ordering pizza and watching movies all day.

Espio: When Charmy comes to him from a nightmare, he initially takes the whole 'it's not real so it can't hurt you' route as he doesn't really know what to do and doesn't want to deal with it, especially if others are around. But when Charmy says it's about his family, death, or abandonment, he will take him back to his room to sit on the bed with him and will explain how the dream is illogical because none of them will ever leave him because he's valuable to their team and their family. He will then either read some stories with Charmy or on the rarer and more severe occasion, he will sing a few lullabies he remembers from his youth. He also always stays in the room with him until he wakes up to watch over him just in case he has another nightmare.

Knuckles: When he was still with them and Charmy would go to him, he would say the same thing as Espio and tell him that they couldn't hurt him. He also assured him that they were just fears and all he had to do was pummel them into submission by realizing it wasn't real and wouldn't happen. Especially if Charmy was scared they were going to abandon him because he could be annoying sometimes. He also assured him that if the physical ones were real and got in the house, they wouldn't there be for long because he would get rid of it before it was able to get him. After their talk, he would follow him to his room to get his pillow and blanket and they would sleep on the couches because he felt that it was more efficient to get over a fear by sleeping in an open room where more things could get you, instead of a safe bedroom.

Ray: On the rare occasions Charmy comes to him, he will immediately panic because he is never prepared for it. Ever. After the initial scare is done, he will give him a hug and tells Charmy to think of something that makes him happy. If Charmy says he's too scared think of anything, he tells him that whenever he feels scared, he thinks about Mighty and how confident and loved he makes him feel, along with the adventures they've been on together. It ends up turning into a Q&A about their friendship and Charmy feels all warm and fuzzy on the inside, both from hearing the stories and getting lost in the familiar happiness of his own memories of his friends. But no matter how good Charmy feels, Ray always insists that Charmy spends the night because he knows that when he has a nightmare, the last thing he wants is to be alone.

Mighty: When Charmy comes to him after being scared by a bad dream, he is always ready to help out. He will take him back to his room to get his shoes before taking him outside. He tells him that whenever he feels uneasy or bad, walking outside helps clear his mind. They walk around for a bit and he never lets go of his hand to let him know he isn't going anywhere. He takes him to different places he's been during his travels that have such pretty views and just look breathtaking in general. He tells him about the coolest and weirdest things he's encountered on his travels to make Charmy hyped and laugh. Then he tells him about the scariest thing he's ever seen and his greatest fear and says that it's okay to be afraid of things and that even people with incredible strength can get really scared of the littlest things. They go to a fast food restaurant and he buys them food to take with them and they continue to walk. Eventually, they head back and they watch Charmy's favourite cartoons until they fall asleep on the couch.

Sonic 3 | ☆☆☆☆☆

I'VE COME TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT, I love this movie. I don't care if it was stupid at some points, it was perfect. I don't know if they were really references to the Fandubs, but every reference had me screaming. This was the most fun I've had watching a movie in a while and the AKIRA SLIDE! This movie was ridiculous and the animation was insane. It was perfectly comical and I loved it. I just love Sonic so much. And Knuckles and Tails. I love Tails. MARIAAAA!

he is THE big brother 🥹 he looked after sonic and tails the whole time, he was so protective over them.

i was 100% satisfied with what they did with knuckles in this movie. the only thing i missed was him interacting a bit more with his newfound parents but i understand there was too much going on.

I got bored and decided to do a tier list based on what I think each Sonic character's race/ethnicity would be. All of these are also my opinion as well so please don't get mad at me for this.

Here's my explanation for each tier (if interested):

1st tier: personally, I think Sonic could be a mix of literally everything. I couldn't think exactly what race he could be, so I made a special tier for Sonic

2nd tier: honestly what else can I say other than they all give off the vibes that they could be Latino (coming from a Latina herself :D)

3rd tier: come on, we all know Knuckles is black without a doubt. as for Vector, he was one of the few that I actually had trouble deciding where I should place him in. but the longer I was staring at him, the more I was getting my answer without anybody telling me 💀

4th tier: the first two were easy to place, Marine was the one I had trouble placing as well but I eventually put her there

5th tier: this is the tier where I feel like I had to explain why I place them there without having to make an entire specific tier for each one. So let's go on with that:

Tails: I think he could be a mix of white and Asian

Amy: the same goes with her, I think she could be a mix of white and Asian (and a little bit of Hispanic as well ^-^)

Silver: this is where the "I don't know" part comes in. I think he could be a mix of Asian and something else but I couldn't think of what exactly that could be

Jet: I feel like he's mix. with what, that I do not know

Wave: I got the vibe that she is Latina and black

Storm: honestly idk I just placed him there just because

Cream: I had trouble placing her anywhere so I just put there because it just felt (somewhat) right

6th tier: they're all white (no further explanation)

7th tier: robots :)

8th tier: idk why but I thought it would be funny if I made Metal his own tier like I did with Sonic, that's why he's there. now why specifically is he Hispanic? simple: I also think it would be funny as well

In all, all of this is based on MY OPINION and this tier list was made out of boredom and for fun.

SONIC AU

Composite AU (Composite is an adjective, noun, or verb that refers to something made up of separate parts or elements.) or simple "What would X character look like if they had Y character's features?"

Sonic Forces AU

I'm being too lazy to draw today although I had everything sketched out so I'm just going to write everything so everyone understands the AU basics

Chapter 1 Sonic is hanging out with Sticks with her trying to teach him how to swim when she gets a message and goes to answer it. She comes back and tells him Green Hills is in danger, hastily he goes to save his friends. Tails updates him when he gets to the lab and gives him a anti flammable compression suit which is resistant to most attacks. He runs off to find Eggman and put an end to the mass destruction.

Chapter 2

Eggman boasts he's upgraded Metal Sonic and that he's going to meet his demise today. Sonic banters with him that that's not likely. Metal Sonic is introduced and they battle until Eggman activates Metal's kill switch. A laser pierces through Sonic and he falls to his inevitable death. Everyone on the front lines see this and ceases fighting ridden with grief and shock.

Chapter 3

Amy is consumed by grief she falls to her knees sobbing when Knuckles and Rouge find her. Rouge immediately understands what happened and is frantic to get Amy out of battle before she goes into a rage and hurts herself. Knuckles picks up on severity of the situation and zones out realizing his friend's fate. As he rusheds off Shadow answers Rouge's alerts and retrieves Amy.

Chapter 4

They teleport to the infirmary that's connected to Tails' lab, Vanilla goes to find him to tell him there's wounded. Amy sits on a cot and cries while Shadow finds gauze to tend to her minor wounds. She trembles with emotions and beats his chest telling him he has no rival anymore and that he should be happy. He holds her close and silently cries with her telling her that Sonic was his friend and understands her pain. Tails comes in and tends to her while Shadow leaves to end the battle.

Chapter 5

Shadow returns to the battlefield to find the fighters giving up, Knuckles is a top a heap of robots screaming at Eggman. Rouge is trying her best to pull him down but can't calm him, Shadow knocks him out and teleports to Eggman and tells him to leave or die. He threatens Shadow with Metal but is quickly cut off as Shadow destroys the kill switch. Eggman retreats and Shadow searches for Sonic's body. He finds him being vainly healed by Silver although it's no use (lol ik that was uncalled for) Silver stops and tells Shadow their timeline will be ok just dim. Shadow takes Sonic and brings his body to an old Oak tree.

Chapter 6

Sonic is buried and everyone fixes Green Hills while grieving their hero, a statue is put up in his honor. Amy visits him everyday to lay flowers at his grave, rage eventually consumes her and she hunts down Eggman to give him his final battle.

Chapter 7

Eggman is defeated and swears to never make another robot as Metal is destroyed. Amy can't live knowing Sonic's murderer is still around and forces herself to leave before she kills him. Amy runs into Shadow on the way back to Green Hills and he questions her. She gets mad and tries to run away but Shadow grabs her and consoles her.

Chapter 8

A few years have passed, everyone for the most part have come to terms and Green Hills is brimming with new life. Shadow and Amy have a daughter who is entering early adulthood when Shadow is notified the Black Arms army is coming to Green Hills, he immediately tells his daughter who the Black Arms are and she has Chaos energy and that she has to train to fight them.

Chapter 9

Black Doom confronts Shadow about his offspring and demands her to join the army after witnessing her powers and deciding she's too weak. Shadow and Amy protest but she agrees to go to understand her DNA and history. She trains for 4 years before coming back and settling down.
