No need to reply to this, just wanted to let you know that I'm TICKLED by the latest answers. I think you write and draw with a lot of life in your responses and it's a joy seeing Frieza's reactions. Lively and funny. Thank you for the blog, it really feels like you put effort and skill into the storytelling, both visual and written. It's a TREAT!

my favorite thing in the world is getting so comfortable writing a character that they start making their own decisions and guiding the story themselves, and that’s about where I’m at! If I start drafting a reply or story beat and the muse “doesn’t like” something about it, he’ll swat me away and steer the ship on his own lol. Past a certain point they basically become “alive” , and that sort of interiority is super fun for me… Once you understand what their core conceits are you can extrapolate a motivation for literally every decision they ever make, even something as simple as what they want for lunch. I guess getting all analytical like that is where the two of us intersect haha

my Other favorite thing in the world is writing superpowered characters in mundane scenarios—i enjoy drawing battle scenes occasionally but what really makes my heart sing is shit like. Idk. Frieza just doing normal stuff like brushing his teeth. taking his medicine. watching a bad movie and making fun of it. I spend probably too much time imagining the ins and outs of his daily life so that’s what comes out here

Normally comfort characters only last maybe a year for me, but he’s stuck around since 2020 so I think he’s not going anywhere anytime soon!! I’m really happy you like reading what he has to say, and I hope I can keep making you guys smile!

He’s asleep. Spent the day indulging in all his favorite activities: story time, puppet shows, and- as of only recently- baseball practice.

With a sumptuous platter of desserts to cap off the celebrations, of course.

The fact that Frieza, an all powerful space tyrant who is obsessed with making sure no force of good can ever overpower him, is implied to be into Yamcha, the good guy who gets constantly dunked for being weakest of the group, will never not be funny to me.

Some Dragon Ball fans have the gall to be homophobic when this is the show they are watching. You just can't deny the obvious homoeroticism in these scenes.

As much as I love dogging on Super and criticizing the sheer amount of inconsistencies in its writing........it did do some things right. I do appreciate how they handled this moment in BoG with Goku.

He's backed up against the figurative wall, faced with power greater than his own that threatens to wipe out Earth and everything on it..... The first person who flashes in his mind is Chi Chi.

This isn't the first time a scene like this happened either. There's moments scattered in *Z* of Goku thinking of Chi Chi and Gohan in times of crisis, having nightmares n' whatnot of them in danger.

Annnnd yet, some people still say that Goku doesn't love his wife. Doesn't love his kids. Unreal.
