sorry Vi, for putting you through many awkward positions.. you’re only gonna suffer for another 6-10 pages I think /o\
Dressing her up in things I have saved on my Pinterest like she’s a barbie doll is my favourite activity
Fun Story to Share.
I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.
Well - she got this email this morning:
The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.
Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).
Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.

Never question whether a fic is too old to comment on.
arcane really gave us a butch lesbian protag from an underprivileged city district whose parents were murdered by cops, then paired her up with a prudish cop. said cop later coerces her into joining the police force, leads a glorified SWAT team on an """anti-terrorism""" crusade against poor people, and commits literal war crimes against them, all while pressuring the protag to kill her own sister who she's desperately trying to rehabilitate. the cop also never apologizes or tries to make amends, nor does she really sympathize with the protag's conflict over having to kill her own sister or express regret over how she's treated civilians in the impoverished district. and we're supposed to root for them to be together at the end
but it's cool because she has a sexy eyepatch and a cool gun and a posh british accent!! ...right guys...?
Headcanons about ViJinx, please?
Vi and Jinx are broken parts whose jagged edges would fit together if you put them the right way but so sharp they keep gutting each other in their attempts to come back together.
Even though it doesn't look like it, Vi seeing Jinx as Jinx and not as Powder is progress.
The voice in Jinx's head that used to sound like Vi is starting to sound like Jinx. This is also progress.
Sex wouldn't fix them but sleeping in the same bed would. Sex and sleeping together after though? Hell yeah.
Vi wants to belong and her biggest beef with Piltover was that it made her feel like she didn't belong there. That is why she was so easily swayed by a small act of affirmation/solidarity.
Jinx will never accept that Piltover requires you to change to fit it.
Vi has started muttering Jinx's voice in her sleep.
Jinx works so hard on her traps because she is still trying to impress Vi.
Yk how in episode seven the disc intro thing changes to ekko and power which is a nice nod to the fact that they're in an alternate timeline but also that they're lovers and soulmates. Which means- normally we see vi and jinx disc which should also mean that they're lovers and soulmates that are just doomed, in this essay I will—
Modern babysitters (moms) ViJinx ((((I refuse to do shadows after so much time coloring the background))))
Modern Jinx isn't malnourish so she and Vi are almost the same height (i say as an excuse to explain why i made jinx so tall)
Finally someone articulates perfectly the issue I had with Isha's entire character and death scene in particular.
No, I’m NOT well.
The writers may as well have spit in her face by making her participate in gassing Zaunites with Caitlyn. Vi knows kids work for the Chembarons. She knows the dire situation in Zaun and what lengths people have to go to survive. She would never agree to it.
AND in S1, Caitlyn would’ve left her in Stillwater if she hadn’t agreed to help // said “The Undercity is gonna eat you alive.”
I’m going to SCREAM if I think about this any longer.
