Why a siren you may ask? Because Poseidon never wanted to hear someone as bad as Apollo sing ever again, so he sends sirens in a human form to teach Apollo’s kids early on to sing properly, and no one notices. They just think ‘What a great singer! Must be Apollo’s child!’ And then Poseidon is just there, happy that there isn’t a off tune voice singing ‘Sweethome Atlantis’ again
