"By the ka'ra, I new Guard-GAR relations weren't great, but not this bad. Shows how much time I used to spend on Coruscant."
Bite starts talking as he helps Tumbler get his helmet off before moving on to his left glove and vembrance.
"I'll splint this now and check your head, then I'll wrap your arm properly. Sound good? And let me know if you want a painkiller."
Bite waits for an acknowledgement before he starts pulling things out of his pack and getting to work on Tumblers arm.
"Either way, impressed you managed to take out so many marines by yourself, we should spar some time."
He is just finishing up with the quick brace and was about to move on to the head injury when the marine closest to them pipes up.
"He got lucky, nothing impressive about it!"
If Bite had been annoyed before, now he was getting pissed. Do these guys not know to shut up when they are down.
"I recommend you can it before I march you back you your commander myself and have some words with your CMO about reminding his troops to stop picking fights while someone elses medic is stitching up your face."
Bite makes eye contact with the medic working on the marine, who nods in thanks before turning back to Tumbler.
"Kark, I hate marines."
:Incoming Transmission from: Coruscant Guard Holding ward:
We need any available medic to head down to the Holding Wards and tend to our local vent cryptid. Di'kut got into a brawl with someone from Bacara's lot and our on-hand medics are tending to the the Marines who jumped in.

"Medic Bite, on route, Over"
Bite stands quickly from where he'd been sat talking with one of the other medics in the mess.
"I've got this one. Flag it to the medbay in case things got extra rough, and I'll comm you when I have the facts."
Bite turns on his heel and starts running full pelt towards the holding wards. He'd only met Tumbler once, but after memorising his file, he was already trying to sort out a plan in his head.
As Bite skid around the final corner, he was greeted with the sight of injured brothers and very tired medics trying to stop someone from continuing the fight.
Turning to the trooper on duty at the entrance, he asked where to find Tumbler and was pointed to a dazed and injured looking vod in the back corner of the room.
Weaving around the clones still scattered around the space, Bite finally reached the corner Tumbler was pressed into.
"Hey vod, it's Bite. What happened? What do you need?"
"I know vod'ika, but we sent out an ARF trooper the second we got the news and they found nothing, right now we need you here incase we finally get a lock on the location. Your ARF status will be essential in a complex situation like this one. If you need to do something, tell the tech boys what you found and have them search Vyrims account transactions for anything similar to or related to what you found. The second we can go get Tumbler, I will tell you, but that isn't possible if you are 20 klicks from base chasing a cold trail."
Bite wants nothing more than to send Mouse to the streets with his mastiff in an attempt to find Tumbler quicker, but with the real chance that there will be no trail and no results when they tried before, it isn't worth loosing Mouse as a potential asset when the time comes.
Mouse approaches Bite with a folder. "I was snooping around and found a couple things-- well really only one thing, just a note, everything else in the folder is my own ramblings and attempts to find connections-- but the note's something about a really impressively large sum of money and some sort of large pet. But-- I just want you to have this, so it doesn't get lost while I'm out on my ill-advised rampage"
Bite takes the folder from Mouse's hands, already trying to figure out how this information could help him locate Tumbler.
"And where do you intend to go on your 'ill-advised rampage' vod? Because we don't have a location for Tumbler or Senator Vyrim right now and if you run off to cause havoc not only will you not be permitted to join the extraction team, you may also get yourself killed."
He knows his words are harsh, his kih'vod usually someone he tries to keep a nicer tone with, but right now Tumbler takes priority and Bite can not afford to get distracted with trying to keep an eye on his obviously distressed vod as well as providing specialist insight on extraction plans and tactics to the command staff and working with the tech boys on information gathering and processing.
"I know you are angry, kark. I'm furious, but right now, Tumbler needs you as level-headed as you can manage. Can you control yourself until we have a plan, trooper?"
"Ka'ra, why are all the corries so murder-y? No, I do not need you to stab someone vod. And you are good on the punching thing. Work with injured troopers long enough, few things faze you in the end."
Bite prods at the blooming bruise a few times before he is sure there is no real damage. The towel around '07s shoulders does little to hide the scars from Bites trained eye, and the way the vod has slightly curled his shoulders and refuses to meet his eye tells him all he needs to know about '07s opinion on that fact.
"Are you alright? I know tension is always high on Coruscant, but it doesn't usually end in bruises outside showers."
1607 despises people seeing his scars. They're a thing of shame, after all-- not battle scars, just evidence of what's been done to him. The elaborate patterns trail down from his shoulders to his wrists, and all along his ribs. He despises them. So, when he steps out of the shower and is face-to-face with another trooper, he acts on instinct-- he punches them.
Later, when Bite has a rare down moment in the bunks, he carefully peels the sticker off the front of his chest plate before turning it over and pasting it inside.
"Thanks, vod..."
*gives the corrie guard stickers*
( Mun you have liberty to pick what every Corrie guard got as a sticker )
Tumbler stares at the collection of stickers gifted to him and looks back up at the Natborn.
"Uh...thanks for the stickers, sir/ma'am. I'll be sure to distribute these among the Guard evenly. If you have need of our service, please contact our head office."
With a salute and quick turn, Tumbler walks out of sight. Then he sprints, grin manic as he begins to assault vode with stickers to the bucket or shell.
A small cartoonish Massif with adorable eyes is slapped onto the side of Mouse's head, with 41 getting a shield slapped onto his shoulder and 07 getting a blue rose on their arm. (@squad380)
Bite will get a sticker of a bandaged smiley face to his chest as Tumbler darts in and out of the vents. (@corrie-bite)
Mallet will be suddenly blinded as a apple sticker is slapped into his visor from the vent above, with only Tumbler's laughter giving him away as the culprit. (@clonetroopermallet)
Commander Fox will get a gentle slap on the back of the head, later to find a small Caf sticker on the back of his bucket. (@cc1010fox)

Hey, so-- okaylistenIknockedaguyout-- okay no, breathe, just breathe-- okay. I mostly-accidentally knocked Vayne unconscious and now he's bleeding from his ears. I also not-accidentally broke his ankles. And uh. Tumbler and I have no idea what to do.
This was not what he'd expected when he arrived after receiving a 'Help Please!' comm from Mouse.
"Ok, before I touch any of the rest of that, keep breathing vod'ika, you are going to be fine. In, hold, out. Good Mouse, and again. In, hold, out. There we go. Show me the way, vod'ika, I'll see what I can do."
Given the description of the injuries, Bite is rather confused on exactly how the little vod before him managed to make someone bleed from their ears after a punch, but given the things he's seen, he'll wait until he can see for himself to make any judgements on the situation.
Mouse has left a small box where he knows one of the medics will find it-- inside there's a handwritten note apologizing for the trouble he's caused, a voucher for a six-person trip to an all-you-can-eat buffet, and a little wooden figurine of a tooka
"Hey, Sir, I found something while checking the vent just outside. It looks like it is for us!"
Bite turns the little box over in his hands after shouting to his CMO from the door. The little figurine inside looks hand carved, and the voucher is enough for all the medics that were on duty during the last rough shift to eat out on one of the middle levels.
"It's an apology, for 'causing trouble'."
One of the other medics, Plex, speaks up.
"I bet you the next prison callout it was the orikih vod'ika we had in here the other day with Tumbler. The kid cut himself out of his restraints and tried to drag both himself and Tumbler out of the medbay."
"I won't be taking that bet vod. Only shines still apologise to the medics. Everyone else realises we just tell them to quit apologising for being hurt." the CMO retorts.
After hearing the other medics recount the situation, Bite promises himself that if he ever sees this littlest brother of his, he will make sure he understands he has nothing to apologise for. But in the meantime, his medic brothers definitely could use the pick-me-up.
"Thank you, vod'ika."
"Vod, if Mouse had hit any harder, the man would be dead already. And if nothing else, the vod'ika doesn't need the blood on his hands. Not unless it's nessasary."
Bite knows what that feels like. Sometimes, regardless of how nessasary it was, or how nuch they deserved it, the lives you take can weigh on you. As they reach the doors to the medbay and an organised chaos takes over as Vayne is take off them and immediately being assessed, Bite take a final look at the two before him.
"We've got it from here. I'll let you know when we have dealt with his condition. Tumbler, it would be appreciated if you could check Mouse over for me, if that's ok with both of you. Oh, and Mouse? Thank you for calling. I'm really glad you did."

Who doesn't like a bit of blood!? Let's get those muses bleeding!
For the worried
"Don't worry about it, this happens sometimes."
"It's just a nosebleed."
"Some asshole punched me!"
"What? No, I'm fine, I ..."
"Oh, shit, I'm bleeding."
"Where did that come from?"
"Don't worry. Don't - don't worry..."
"I feel woozy."
"Oh, god, that's ... why am I bleeding..?"
"No, no! It's not my blood!"
"I uh. I tripped."
"It's just a bit of blood, christ, calm down."
"Ow. Um. Ow."
"I can't feel it. I should be able to .. feel it... right?"
"It's just a little cut, it's not... oh. I guess that's deeper than I thought."
For the bloodied
"Hey, you're bleeding."
"Are you okay? That's a lot of blood."
"Oh, god, are you hurt? Are you hurt?!"
"Oh no."
"You're not meant to look like that."
"What do you mean it isn't yours!?"
"I'll get you some tissues."
"Take a deep breath, okay, I'm going to help."
"Sit down, sit down."
"I'm calling an ambulance."
"You're hurt!"
"Stop trying to be brave for one minute."
"I'm getting some bandages."
"Did you punch them back?"
"You'll be okay."
"On my way. Can I get in through the front or should I find my own way?"
Bite is immediately on edge. The attached location is the quarters of a senator on the list, and he doesn't know how bad it may be when he arrives. The attached vitals are elevated but not dangerously so, and even then, that doesn't make Bite any more assured about what he might find.
Mouse is lounging on a plush couch in a senator's private chambers, trying to ignore what happened before the senator in question left him alone. Her name and face are a blur, same as the touches she left on his skin. There is a platter on the table that he is looking for food to fill with. It's almost as an afterthought that he pings the Guard comm channel. "Hey, can someone come....come be with me? I don't wanna be alone. Sending location and vitals now."
What made you transfer from GAR to Guard? Bit of a downgrade, isn't it?
First of all, it's not a downgrade or a demotion or anything of the like. It's just another job with another group of brothers I need to keep alive just one day longer. I miss my old squad, sure, and maybe being a GAR transfer has been a bit... isolating so far, but it's a posting, which is much better than the other option.
I got injured. It was bad. It was decided by the brass that they didn't need a stealth ops medic if it was going to slow the rest of the mission down so I was lined up for decom before Commander Blackout himself got involved. Made a case for me to be sent to a static posting so as not to waste my specialist training. Don't know how he managed it, but here we are. I'm a combat medic with no battlefield and stealth clone on a planet where there are eyes on you always. I've only been here a short while, so I guess we will see what happens next.
