You're allowed to call yourself a writer, regardless of how good you are at writing. You're allowed to reach for the stars, to dream of becoming the next big thing. You're allowed to write just for the heck of it.

You're allowed to call yourself a writer, regardless of why you're writing. Regardless of how insignificant you believe your writing to be, because your writing is not insignificant. Nothing that brings you joy will ever be insignificant.

Writers: let's talk about how important it is to NOT take every bit of advice you see online. There will always be someone with a different process. Some people swear by plotting. Some people can't write if they plot things out in advance. Some people start with the characters, others start with the plot. What works for them might not work for you. If you want your manuscript to ever be finished, you have to take what serves you and leave what doesn't. 💜

This is supposed to be a warm up doodle but then I got carried away, rendered the whole thing *sighs man, I sure looooove drawing girls wearing seifuku *wiggle eyebrows ( the fact I've paid more attention to her eyes than her fingers.....)

Teenage Mutant Turtle Tongues

So we’ve all seen Raph’s tongue (and fantasized about it) by now, but so far I haven’t seen an HC of all of their tongues.

See a need, fill a need, amirite? ;)

Note: I imagine that the boys’ turtle genes gave them exceptional size tongue-wise, but to an extent this is proportional to a human’s. The guys are just much bigger and more filled out than humans in general, so while this list is impressive, proportionately they aren’t that much more gifted than the most equally-gifted humans.

LEONARDO:

Not too long, not too thick, but still puts human range to shame with a good 3.5″. Leo’s tongue isn’t very versatile; when he extends it, it comes to a point and severely limits his ability to – ahem – perform tricks with it. When close, however, he can twist and curl his tongue quite well. Thus, he much prefers to keep his tongue in close, where he can tease and delight with it. ;)

RAPHAEL:

He can extend his tongue a solid 4″ past his teeth, and it gets notably shapely when he does so. It’s strong, thick, and he can curl it with incredible dexterity, though he can’t twist or flip it. His main limitation is in width; he can’t really make his tongue any wider or thinner, just longer. It’s pretty much stuck in that way – not that I imagine anyone would mind. ;D

DONATELLO:

Honestly, Donnie’s range and versatility are both kind of pitiful. Despite his overall size he just can’t extend it much or do much with it, falling just shy of 3″ when fully extended and unable to change its shape. Luckily his turtle genes still offer a very generous size, so he can still do more with it than your average human. :3

MICHELANGELO:

The killer – Mikey was gifted with an incredible tongue. Not only can he extend it to over 4.5″, but its versatility is unmatched. Anything you’ve ever seen or even heard of someone’s tongue doing, Mikey can do it, too. He can twist it, shape it, curl it, even loop it; he has both the size and dexterity to securely wrap his tongue around other things – for example, another person’s tongue…. ;3

I just read the whole "fixing 2012 apritello headcanon" thingie about protective Raph caring about Donnie's silly crush on April, and Raph been thinking that April has led Donnie on all the time and that made him mad, he followed her and threatened to KILL that poor teenage girl with his sais to make her make up her mind about Donnie's feelings towards her and people in the notes who liked....supported THIS BEHAVIOUR?????!!! 💀💀💀 WTF??? 💢💢💢

I can't believe this fandom 💀💀💀 Okay, first of all, 2012 April slanders are just a different breed of stupid honestly (or they are just a misogynists) and two, STOP MISCHARACTERIZE MY 2012 RAPHAEL!!! 🚫🚫🚫🚫 My 2012 Raphael is a kind-hearted turt who won't ever harm any soul, he's a sweetest turt to his brothers, to April, and to Master Splinter. I love Raph so much as I love Donnie!🥲 Writing a hedcanon justifying a threat to kill a 16-year-old teenage girl just because she doesn't return his brother's feelings ain't gonna solve it, dumbass! 😠😠😠 Doesn't make it ANY BETTER!!!! I love 2012 April so much it hurts🥲💕💕💖💗, you guys are the ONE who needs to BACK OFF from her!! Homegirl has enough on her plate! She lost a mother, lost her father (twice!), lost her only best girl friend, Irma, and lost her only home! GODDAMNIT!!!😠😠💢💢💢 You guys JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND HER AT ALL!!! You just DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT HER!!!! LEAVE 2012 APRIL ALONE!
