Y’know, one of the best things about the ship that is Apritello is that Donnie is entirely aware of how slim the chances of it actually happening really are.
Donnie’s smart, obviously. He knows the odds are stacked against him, that his appearance is not exactly appealing, and how unlikely it is that April would ever feel the same.
And yet, he hopes.
She is the one person that can derail him from logical thinking, that can make him take something that he would normally see as impossible and believe that it could happen. He has an emotional investment in it, and even though he certainly knows it would be nothing short of miracle if she liked him back, he still wishes for it to happen. If he saw the same odds in some sort of experiment, he would consider it fruitless, but in this, he has faith.
Even in the 2k3 series, Donatello makes himself content with watching April start a relationship with Casey, because it makes her happy. It is obvious that his feelings for her go deeper than friendship, but he still just sits and watches, even though you know it must have been hurting him pretty badly.
It just kills me, and I really hope that Apritello is at least acknowledged in some way in canon in 2k12, because I don’t think I can stand watching Donnie’s heart be broken.

Look, this was my OTP throughout my junior high years, might as well tweak their dynamic
April’s a spunky gal [inspired by rise april :>]. She can be stubborn at times and only Donnie can talk her out of it. Once they became friends, they tend to stand or sit close to each other.
It took awhile for Donnie to realize that he has a crush on April since it’s the very first time he ever felt that way for someone.
April on the other hand was oblivious to it. She only knew about it when Mikey accidentally slipped it up in one of their convo. She never mentioned about the whole thing to Donnie as to not scare him off and just waited until Dee’s ready to tell her about it.
They’re very supportive of each other. Donnie helps her with her schoolworks while April helps him with his socializing skills and getting the stuff he needs for his projects.
[ID: A digital illustration of Kinomoto Sakura, Daidouji Tomoyo, Li Syaoran, and Kero-chan from Cardcaptor Sakura. They're all sat at a pink diner booth with desserts in glasses in front of each of them. Kero-chan is stealing some of Sakura's pudding, Sakura looks shocked, Tomoyo is watching with a smile, and Shaoran is watching while drinking a milkshake. End description.]
Watched all of the 90s Cardcaptor Sakura for the first time recently 🩷
Short Donatello problems
(No, I do not know how height works so this is very much not to scale)

Yes, this is rough because I got busy and then forgot about it lol
Before The Power Inside Her aired I made a post about how Donnie is always reaching out to April. He offers her his hand again and again throughout the series. Not surprisingly, we see April almost take his hand over and over. But nearly every time, it’s not the right time. For example:
April reaches up to accept his help and Donnie is smacked in the face by nun-chucks.
They’re so close! But their fingers brush and April plummets into a vat of mutagen.
Donnie can’t reach her with his hand. I don’t think this was an accident. It seems that, by this point, the writers had already decided that Donnie couldn’t take April’s hand until the right moment.
And we all know what happens here. But, once again, here he is… reaching out to help her.
So, my theory still stands. When Apritello becomes official, it will be when they take one another by the hand. It will likely be a case of Donnie extending his hand to April, but what I wouldn’t give to see her finally reach out to him.
Either way, I really hope this show ends with the two of them hand-in-hand.
As well as countless of others from the AI generator community. Just talking about how "inaccessible art" is, I decided why not show how wrong these guys are while also helping anyone who actually wants to learn.

Second part BOOKS, I have collected some books that have helped me and might help others.
📚Here is my list:
The "how to draw manga" series produced by Graphic-sha. These are for manga artist but they give great advice and information.
"Creating characters with personality" by Tom Bancroft. A great book that can help not just people who draw cartoons but also realistic ones. As it helps you with facial ques and how to make a character interesting.
"Albinus on anatomy" by Robert Beverly Hale and Terence Coyle. Great book to help someone learn basic anatomy.
"Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer and Robert Beverly Hale. A good book if you want to go further in-depth with anatomy.
"Directing the story" by Francis Glebas. A good book if you want to Story board or make comics.
"Animal Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. A good book for if you want to draw animals or creatures.
"Constructive Anatomy: with almost 500 illustrations" by George B. Bridgman. A great book to help you block out shadows in your figures and see them in a more 3 diamantine way.
"Dynamic Anatomy: Revised and expand" by Burne Hogarth. A book that shows how to block out shapes and easily understand what you are looking out. When it comes to human subjects.
"An Atlas of animal anatomy for artist" by W. Ellenberger and H. Dittrich and H. Baum. This is another good one for people who want to draw animals or creatures.
Etherington Brothers, they make books and have a free blog with art tips.
📝As for Supplies, I recommend starting out cheap, buying Pencils and art paper at dollar tree or 5 below. If you want to go fancy Michaels is always a good place for traditional supplies. They also get in some good sales and discounts. For digital art, I recommend not starting with a screen art drawing tablet as they are usually more expensive.
For the Best art Tablet I recommend either Xp-pen, Bamboo or Huion. Some can range from about 40$ to the thousands.
💻As for art programs here is a list of Free to pay.
Clip Studio paint ( you can choose to pay once or sub and get updates. Galaxy, Windows, macOS, iPad, iPhone, Android, or Chromebook device. )
Procreate ( pay once for $9.99 usd, IPAD & IPHONE ONLY)
Blender (for 3D modules/sculpting, animation and more. Free)
PaintTool SAI (pay but has a 31 day free trail)
Krita (Free)
mypaint (free)
FireAlpaca (free)
Aseprite ($19.99 usd but has a free trail, for pixel art Windows & macOS)
Drawpile (free and for if you want to draw with others)
IbisPaint (free, phone app ONLY)
Medibang (free, IPAD, Android and PC)
So do with this information as you will but as you can tell there are ways to learn how to become an artist, without breaking the bank. The only thing that might be stopping YOU from using any of these things, is YOU.
I have made time to learn to draw and many artist have too. Either in-between working two jobs or taking care of your family and a job or regular school and chores. YOU just have to take the time or use some time management, it really doesn't take long to practice for like an hour or less. YOU also don't have to do it every day, just once or three times a week is fine.
Hope this was helpful and have a great day.
"also apologies for any spelling or grammar errors, I have Dyslexia and it makes my brain go XP when it comes to speech or writing"
I need the 2012 fandom to talk about Donnie's contact in April's Shellphone (i forgot what they're called sue me)
