Rainy weather was the perfect time to read. At least, that's what (Y/n) thought. The lights of a lamp and a crackling fire in the fireplace illuminated her figure, lounging comfortably on a couch as she flipped through the pages of a book.

It was her favorite activity especially during lazy weather such as rain. Settling down and getting cozy under a fluffy blanket with a cup of warm chamomile tea and a good book. The house was nearly quiet once again with the gentle sound of rain against the window panes and the comforting sound of the fireplace being the only disturbances.

The warmth of her environment made (Y/n) sleepy. Her eyelids drooped as she fought the inevitable slumber, wanting to continue reading but as the book slowly slipped from her fingertips, falling to the ground with a thud, there was a loud clap of thunder and the light of the lamp shut off. (Y/n)’s eyes shot open, her comfortable atmosphere shattered. The only source of light in the room was the fire which continued to burn. 

(Y/n) knew she couldn’t read well in that dim of a light and she would become too warm if she sat directly in front of the fireplace. With a sigh, she curled up in her blanket and tried to adjust her eyes so she could continue reading. The storm would likely stick around for a while and whatever caused the power outage would take time to fix so she might as well get comfy.

Knock knock knock

The sound of three taps echoed through the house and (Y/n) looked around, trying to locate the source of the sound. “Reading in this light is bad for your eyesight, you know.” (Y/n) quickly looked toward the voice and her heart skipped a beat at the sight of the figure standing in the entryway. 

Darkiplier, her boyfriend of two years, was dressed in a fitted black suit and a black turtleneck sweater, and leaned comfortably in the doorway, a small smile on his handsome face. It wasn’t his typical style, but it was nice to see him switch up his usual formal attire. However as she continued to look at him in the dimmed room something about him seemed off.

Darkiplier’s usual red and blue outline was almost invisible, making him look more human than usual. In the fire light, small bits of it flashed into view but disappeared again just as quickly as it appeared. His entire being just seemed to fit the mood. 

“What are you doing here? Not that I’m unhappy with your visit, but it’s a little random.” He walked over to (Y/n), smiling as he placed a bottle of wine on a side table. “The lights went out, and I assumed you’d like some company. I know that nighttime thunderstorms can be a bit unsettling.” (Y/n) smiled and blushed at his comment.

"Well then, would you like to join me?" She opened her blanket to let him in, but he just smiled, "In a minute darling. Let me prepare something for us." He winked and wandered off into the kitchen. 

(Y/n) left the couch and from a closet nearby, she took out a box of small unscented candles and laid them around the room, lighting them shortly after. The light sound of footsteps returned and (Y/n) turned around, spotting Dark with two nice glasses, pouring the expensive red wine into them. 

She returned to the couch, and he smiled at her, his 3D effect more visible due to the candles. Dark joined her a few seconds later as thunder clapped again. It was nice, just the two of them sitting together. 

Dark had summoned a record player and it softly played music as they drank the wine he had brought. The mood of the room just seemed to change for the better. (Y/n) was beyond happy. 

"Just out of curiosity, what's with the candles, darling? Were you really having that much trouble seeing my pretty face?" 

(Y/n) giggled, bringing her hand up and caressing his jaw. "You don't have to hide any part of yourself from me, y'know." Dark leaned closer, resulting in an Eskimo kiss, and he smiled. "I thought that my outline would irritate you, especially being this close to me." She smiled back, kissing his cheek. "You could never irritate me."

As she finished speaking, a new song began to play and Dark placed his glass down while standing up from the couch. "Dance with me?" He held his hand out and (Y/n) took it, her hand was soft and warm, something that Dark found pleasant. 

He brought (Y/n) close to his chest and placed his hands on her hips. Her arms snaked behind his neck, and the two of them swayed to the music. (Y/n) rested her head on his broad chest. He smelled vaguely of expensive cologne and black coffee. It was an odd mixture, but it was comforting.

As they danced, Dark hummed softly, matching the song note for note. "How do you know this song? It's quite old." Dark looked down at her, with a sad smile. "It was quite beautiful back when it was first played. I wish you had been there with me." It dawned upon (Y/n) just how old Dark really was, but it didn't bother her.

"If I had been, I wouldn't be dancing here with you."

Dark smiled, leaning forward and resting his forehead against hers. "That's true. I'm glad we at least get to enjoy it now."

(Y/n) leaned forward and kissed his soft lips gently as rain pattered against the window and fire light danced across their figures. "So am I."

Teen Gohan x Vegeta's Daughter! Neko! Reader - I Can't Wait To See You Again

[Before I begin, I would like to state that this takes place a bit before the begining of the Buu saga, and Goku didn't sacrifice himself. He's been with his family this entire time and all that stuff. Alright. Enjoy!]

(Vegeta's POV)

I sat in my and Bulma's shared room one rainy afternoon. Frowning, I looked at an old scanner on the dresser. As the rain hit the window pane with a comforting tapping sound my thoughts wandered and I wondered how my other family was doing.

'Should I talk to her? It's been about a week..' This device was the only way I could talk to my daughter. She was the offspring of my first wife, Celeste, and she was part of the the neko race. Unfortunately, my late bride died right after giving birth to my baby girl.

Her name is (Y/n). It sounds weird. Me, the prince of all saiyans, having a half Saiyan, half neko daughter, but she's incredibly sweet, and absolutely terrifying in battle.

Or so I've been told.

(Y/n) currently lived with her grandparents (her mother's parents) on the planet Nekorata. It had once been a planet ruled by Freiza, but it had been liberated soon after Kakarot defeated him.

I sighed thinking of the baby girl I had to leave behind after I was told to leave under Freiza's direct orders. I had given her grandparents, my mother and father-in-laws, another scanner so that we could keep in touch. Fortunately we had for many years, but lately, it's been mainly (Y/n) I talked to. She told me they hadn't been doing too well as of late, and the doctor told her they didn't have too much longer.

I wanted to talk to her. I wanted to know if she was okay. I need to know.

Bulma knew I had a wife before her. She even knew I had a daughter, and she's even gotten to talk to her. 'Bulma is technically her step mom, and Trunks her step brother.. maybe she could live with us? It wouldn't hurt to have another Saiyan on earth, even if she is half neko.'

I quickly got up from my sitting position and grabbed the scanner, placing it over my eye, I turned it on and started a call. Not even three blips after, I heard her voice. "Hello, father!" I smiled, "Hi there (Y/n), how are you?"

There was a small pause and a sigh. "Gran and Gramps passed away this morning."

I frowned, "I'm so sorry, Princess. Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah. I'm okay. Just a bit sad. I'll be alright though."

"So, are you still going to live at their house?"

"I don't know. Probably. I haven't decided yet."

I nodded. "Well, I haven't asked Bulma yet, but I was considering asking you to move in with me. I know it's a long journey to and from Nekorata and earth, but..."

I heard a gasp and a giggle from the other line. "Dad, that would be awesome, and no it won't be a long journey. I learned a technique called Instant transmission a week ago. I think humans call it teleportation. All I'd need you to do is raise your energy level super high."

"REALLY?!" I exclaimed in suprise. Bulma poked her head into the room, "Hey Vegeta, is everything okay?" I nodded, then quickly asked her before she left. "Bulma, could we have (Y/n) live with us?" She looked suprised for a second then smiled. "I don't see why not. There's plenty of room here."

"Oh my gosh really?!" Came (Y/n)'s voice over the scanner. She heard everything. Bulma laughed, "Of course sweetheart. Mi casa es su casa." Laughter could be heard from my daughter. "Thank you so much!"

I smiled and kissed Bulma's cheek. She blushed and left the room. "Do you want me to raise my power level now?" I asked and (Y/n) replied no. "Gran and Gramp's will still has to be read. And I have to decide what to do with the estate."

"Okay, contact me when you're ready okay? Can you give me an estimate maybe?"

"About a week, if that's okay. I'll update you if something is held back a bit.

I chatted a bit more before hanging up. It had been 18 years since I had last seen her and I was a bit nervous. It certainly would be different, but not unwelcome. 'I just have to wait a week.'

-Time Skip-

A week went by quickly and no difficulty reports had been given by (Y/n). Finally, the day came when I would see her again. Bulma had decided to invite some of the others over in celebration of her arrival. "So, who's coming to earth, Vegeta?" Asked Katarot looking at me expectantly. I rolled my eyes. "My daughter. Don't you ever pay attention?"

"I wonder how strong she is.."

I hit him in annoyance. "She's coming to earth for the first time and I'm going to be seeing her for the first time in 18 years and all you can think about is sparing with her?!"

There was a harty laugh from the others as suddenly the scanner rang. "Alright. Whenever you're ready, so am I." Came her happy voice. "Alright then." I hung up and turned to everyone. "Don't be suprised when she arrives. She's using instant transmission to get here." Goku nodded eagerly, probably happy someone else knew how to use that move too.

Flying into the air and closing my eyes, I raised my power level as high as it could go, powering up to Super Sayian 2. Suddenly I felt a high energy right in front of me. Opening my eyes, I saw a beautiful young woman with (e/c) eyes, (h/c) hair, and (white/black/brown) cat ears and a matching tail. I couldn't help but smile as my power turned off and I returned to normal. "Hello father!" I smiled and brought her into a hug. This was a rare interaction for me, but I felt it was needed. Especially for her, and I smiled even more when she hugged back.

"Woah! It that his daughter? Her power level is so high!" Came Kakarot's voice and I sighed then chuckled as I heard a slap and a shrill voice telling him off for ruining the moment.

(Y/n) laughed and smiled as we floated down to the others. The first to greet her was Bulma who brought her into a hug, which was gladly returned. Second was a shy looking Trunks. (Y/n) got on one knee and smiled at him. "So you're my little brother? Wow, you remind me so much of dad. It's nice to meet you." He nodded shyly and she smiled.

The others were introduced, Kakarot being second last. "Hi, I'm Goku! It's nice to meet you! Are those cat ears and tail real? How powerful are you? Do you wanna spar with me sometime?" (Y/n) looked rather suprised and I growled in annoyance. "Really Kakarot?" Now she looked confused. "Wait. Is your name Goku or Kakarot?"

He sighed softly, "Well, my Saiyan name is Kakarot, and my earth name is Goku. I grew up on earth so..." (Y/n) nodded joyfully and her ears swiveled around, picking up multiple noises. "Alright then. Your name will be Goku! It's easier to remember." He smiled happily and I rolled my eyes.

Last was Kakrot's son, Gohan. He blushed quite a bit and shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you Miss (Y/n). My name's Son Gohan. The man you met before me is my father." He greeted her politely. 'Finally, someone with manners.' She blushed slightly too. "I assumed so. You two looked a lot alike. It's nice to meet you too Gohan."

(Gohan's POV)

By the time we had arrived home, I already wanted to go back. "Vegeta's daughter sure is a cutie, don't you think?" Said my mother happily as we walked through the door of our house. I only nodded as I remembered her beautiful eyes and the way she made me smile. 'She was so beautiful..' I thought dreamily as I got ready for bed.

(Y/n)'s POV)

I lay in bed for the first night on earth. 'The people here are so friendly. Especially that Gohan boy..' she blushed at the memory of the shy and polite boy who's eyes she could get lost in, and who's voice could lure her in more than a siren's could. 'I don't exactly belive in love at first sight, but I think I might be falling for you, Son Gohan..'

“Wilford? Are you crying?”

“No, I’ve just got something in my eyes.”

He just stares at you

“What did you just say?”

You repeat the news and he blinks, processing the information

“P-pregnant? Like, we’re going to have a kid?”

You confirm his question, now feeling very nervous

He is looking everywhere but at you, not being able to speak properly

“Y-you.. I.. we.. w-what..” 

With a sigh, he turns away and starts to leave

You call after him but he tells you he needs time to think

He doesn’t come to speak to you for a few hours

You’re in the living room of the mansion, a fire crackling in the fireplace while you read a book, trying to take your mind off of things

He walks in and sees you there and, after taking a deep breath, he goes to talk to you

“I’ve made up my mind, Mark, and I'm telling you now. I’m keeping this baby, whether you want them or not. I don’t care if you won’t want me around, but-”

He sits next to you, kissing you gently on the cheek and you turn to look at him

He’s starting to tear up and he’s more than happy to hold his son for the first time

Five years later, Actor is in a meeting with the other egos when there is a knock at the door

Google goes to answer when it suddenly opens and a little boy runs into the room

“Daddy! Daddy!”

Actor is shocked as (Y/n) quickly comes into the room, looking embarrassed

“S-sorry, we were going to surprise you when the meeting was over. David Iplier, I told you to stay in the hallway.”

Actor ruffles the boy’s hair, “It’s okay. I was definitely surprised.”

Just then they realized how silent the room was until Wilford let out a loud, “YOU HAVE A KID?!”

“Yes I do.” confirmed your husband, getting up and walking to the exit, “The meeting was basically over anyway so I’ll be taking my leave. Buh-bye!”

He took you and your son by the hand and departed, leaving behind a conference room full of shocked and confused looking egos

Dr. Iplier

Is very surprised but takes it well

“You really are full of surprises, aren’t you, (Y/n)?”

Honestly, he’s very excited and tells a few people at the hospital he works at as well as a few other egos

Being a doctor, he knows just what to expect from the pregnancy and, while he can’t always be home to take care of you (he does have a job after all), he does try his best to do what he can

Constantly checking up on you to make sure you feel okay

He’s the one to do the ultrasound on you and you can see his eyes sparkle when he sees his child for the first time

During the fourth month (when you can slightly begin seeing what sex the child is), he happily tells you that you’re having a boy

When one of the egos (probably Wilford but who knows) asks if they know yet, he’ll tell that ego about his son with a smile

Surprise, not surprise, he’s actually the one to deliver his own child

He was at work when an ambulance rushed in with you on a stretcher, obviously in labor

His eyes go wide and he runs to your side, grabbing your hand and giving you a quick kiss on the forehead

“It’ll be okay, (Y/n). Just breathe and get ready to push.”

The labor lasted around ten hours but it was worth it

Dr. Iplier was the first to hold his little boy and he was so incredibly happy

“He’s perfect, (Y/n).. thank you..”

“What do you think his name should be?”

“How about.. Liam? Liam Ipier.”

Very surprised and confused

He wasn’t aware that he could get you pregnant

Yes, he knew he was very much like a human, but not THAT much

He does realize that the timing checks out though and knows that you wouldn’t lie to him about something so important

He’s happy and is sure to tell you that

He is also happy to do what you ask in order to make the pregnancy easier for you

Primary objectives are: 

- 1) To answer questions as quickly as possible 

- 2) To take care of his wife and future child

- 3) To destroy mankind (he has determined that this objective needs to be put on hold and possibly terminated though that last part’s still up for debate)

Will go with you to every doctor’s appointment and makes sure you feel okay

There are some very difficult parts of the three trimesters specifically when the baby is developing their more human-like parts

These complications were very much obvious during the third ultrasound

“It seems,” said Dr. Iplier in confusion, “that your child has some metal growing on her skin. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.”

Yup! You and Google are going to be the proud parents of a little cyborg girl

By the way, Google is now 100% sure that the child is his because of this discovery

However, due to the fact that your daughter is part metal, it was pre-determined that she would have to be taken out via a c-section rather than a natural birth

It was just safer that way

When the time came and you went into labor, after a few minutes of waiting in the operating room, some surgeons came and introduced to the world a beautiful baby girl

Google smiled as he held his daughter in his arms for the first time and you watched his reaction from your bed with a smile

She was very small and had small plates of metal that were visible on both of her cheeks and on her upper arms

“Hey Google?”

“How does the name ‘Eve’ sound for your daughter”

“I think it’s perfect, my dear.”

Bing

I doubt the baby was planned but he’s happy to be a father anyway

Secretly he’s wondering if he’s actually able to get you pregnant but whatever he has a feeling the kid is his…. somehow..?

Tries his best to provide for you when you need things but probably ends up needing help from the other egos for a few things

Tries to act more mature at the doctor’s office when you go for checkups and ultrasounds

He likes to cuddle you and especially kiss your stomach

“Just givin’ the baby some love. Can’t have them feeling left out.”

Like in Google’s HC, there are some complications and you two find out that the kid is a cyborg

Bing’s happy when you two discover as well that you’re having a little boy

“We can name him Bing Jr. and I can teach him how to skateboard!” He told you excitedly

You secretly doubt you’ll end up calling your son Bing Jr. but decide to let your husband dream before a final decision is made

Well the decision comes faster than you two originally thought because you went into labor three weeks early

Your son is born via a c-section prematurely and while he is put in an incubation chamber in your hospital room, you and Bing are very worried but believe that he’ll be alright

“Hang in there little buddy.” Bing says softly, putting his hand up to the clear wall that contained his son

As he said that, the little boy opened his eyes and began to softly cry

The doctor informed the two of you that he would have asthma, as his lungs weren’t completely developed when he was born, but that he had a very good chance of survival

When you all were finally able to leave about a month later, Bing was the one to come out of the hospital with little Bing Jr. in his arms

Yancy

PANIC

“Y-youse is pregnant?? Oh gosh, what will I tell Mr. Murderslaughter?” 

He’s starting to hyperventilate and you hold him tight, calming him down after a few minutes

Yancy knew that he had already gotten special permission in the past to get married to you, his now wife, outside of the prison and in a Church, but this would probably not fly

Don’t get him wrong, as he tells you, he wants the kid

He really wants the kid (he had secretly wanted to be a father for a long time), but he’s worried about how the other prisoners and especially Mr. Murderslaugter would think if they found out

You assure him that everything will be alright and you both nervously go to the warden’s office and tell him the big news

There was a large moment of silence before he orders you both into separate solitary confinement cells

You both spend around 24 hours there before you’re both ordered back to the warden’s office

Mr. Muderslaughter tells you that, while he is a bit upset that you and Yancy did that, realizes that this will be a learning experience for all of them should this happen again, whether it be through you or someone else

So, soon everyone knows the big news and everyone is actually willing to help out

A surprising amount of the other prisoners are fans of babies

Unfortunately, prison food couldn’t quell all of your cravings but you put up with it

Yancy, who was happy to hear all of the encouragement from his fellow inmates, was happy to help you around as your belly grew

He was certainly fascinated when the baby started kicking

“I think they're gonna be either a fighter or a dancer. What’da think, sweetheart?”

Surprisingly enough, your child went over their due date by three days before you went into labor

It was a long and painful twelve hours before your son was born

Yancy couldn’t hold back tears as he held the little boy who slept quietly in his arms

“He’s… so handsome.”

You giggled tiredly, “Yup, just like his father.”

Yancy smiled at you before his looked at his son again

“(Y/n)? Could we maybe name him Clifton?”

“May I ask why? I’m not saying no, m’just curious.”

“It.. Clifton was my dad’s name. I think it suits the lil’ guy.”

You couldn’t help but smile and as you looked at the sleeping child, you realized that he was right

“Clifton.. Yeah I like that name too.”

Illinois

He has very conflicting thoughts on the matter

Yes, he’s happy he’s going to be a dad, but that means he would have to temporarily (if not permanently) give up treasure hunting

“Darling, will this affect how I do my work? I mean, I can’t exactly go exploring with a baby.”

“That’s what you’re worried about?” 

You’re a little hurt that his mind is elsewhere in regards to your big news, but honestly you should’ve seen it coming

Illinois looks sad, “With you being pregnant, I can’t just take you with me because something could happen to you and thus the baby.”

You frown sadly but then discuss a compromise with him

He can go treasure hunting by himself until you’re either five or six months pregnant then he has to come home (to LA where the two of you bought a house for when you’re not adventuring) and stay there until I’m well enough to take care of our kid on our own

He was hesitant at first but then took the deal

So yeah, he was gone for the first six months of your pregnancy, but he did make sure to call to make sure that you were okay

You told him unfortunately that you personally might have to retire from treasure hunting to be a stay-at-home mom and while he looked kinda sad about it, agreed that it was a logical decision

On a happier note, you told him that you found out that you two were going to have a daughter

He’s honestly very excited about that (he never knew he could be so happy about something like that)

When he comes back home, he’s pleasantly surprised by the sight of his VERY pregnant wife fast asleep on the living room couch

He can’t help but smile as he goes and gently wakes you up with a soft kiss

He keeps his word and stays with you for the next three months and is there with you when you go into labor

It was a tough 16 hours before your little girl was born and Illinois found himself on the verge of tears as he held his daughter

“She’s so beautiful..”

“So, what do you think her name should be?”

Illinois thought about it for a minute before responding

“Crystal. We met because of one, and now we’re closer because of one.”

You couldn’t help but smile as he passed the little girl to you and you kissed her softly on the forehead

“I like the sound of that.”

His mind is racing as he stares at you in shock

A doctor from the Invincible II had been checking up on you for the past few months and told you both earlier on that you would be having a little boy

When you finally went into labor, a c-section had to be done because the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck

Mark was very frightened when he found out but you reassured him that it would be okay, as the doctors knew what they were doing

When you two were presented with your new child, Mark started crying happy tears and he hugged you who held your little boy

“I can’t believe I got so lucky.. To have such a beautiful family..” He whimpered as you kissed away his tears

“Do you want to hold him?”

He did and when he held his son, Daniel Iplier, he smiled shakily and kissed the baby on the forehead
