and then youve gotta go listen to the song like 17 times on repeat to get that imaginary fight scene in your head just right, with everyone showing off all their cool powers in a perfect balance

all before you remember youre supposed to be working and now the coolest fight scene you ever thought of has to sit there replaying in your head on loop while you desperately try to refocus yourself on typing numbers into boxes for the rest of the day

so question for anyone willing to throw ideas my way how does one go about making an interesting "boring" character as in, a character who's entire design motif is being a generic, regular guy ive been thinking circles around this for months now and i really just want to do something with this idiot oc i have to make him interesting and fitting in with the rest of the cast (who are all dressed up like varying versions of fantasy adventurer shenanigans) while still keeping that central boring-ness to him but im at a loss specifically thinking about like visual character design, for the record
