Hear me out… I think there is indeed going to be a Clone rebellion in the next season of The Bad Batch. It’s one of the theories floating around out there that I 100% support.
Remember that little line of dialogue in episode 15 of season 2 where an Imperial officer (I forget his name and importance) says “And what happens if they [meaning the Clones] become aware of what's happening and take up arms against us?”. Dave Filoni likes to use foreshadowing an awful lot. I think this line is foreshadowing a Clone rebellion.
The Empire is going to regret ever messing with the Clones.
Semi Spoiler for The Bad Batch . . So we saw that leak, and it destroyed us. Only thing I took from that was the first panel, then the rest was inspired. I've added some bittersweet comfort angst with some long overdue brotherly support.
WIP progress shot, in order of age.
Happy Friday, TBB fanmily!
Excuse the wippery but I just love them taking caring of each other. I want to share it while it’s still baking so I’ll be held accountable to try to finish it this weekend 😄
Ficlet synopsis below
Tech: Crosshair, please hold still.
Crosshair: Speak for yourself.
Tech tends a deep wound in Crosshair’s forearm after a nearly-disastrous mission to destroy a shield generator. Crosshair was so focused down range in his brothers, that he didn’t notice the commando droid sneaking up in him until it was too late to dodge it completely. Tech asks Crosshair to keep still, but it’s actually Tech who is trembling because he’s so worried about Crosshair. 💗
theyre like snuggling kittens
I miss Tech, Still ignoring the last two episodes, I have a bad feeling.
Just a little Tech and Phee tenderness because I need more of them in my life ❤️
Good Soldiers Follow Orders. Crosshair Panel for Megacon Orlando is finished!
I feel the same way.
I know everyone can’t have the happy ending they deserve, but am I the only one not satisfied with the Mando finale simply because it seems unfair in the face of the BB finale? The Bad Batch deserved better.
So. The scene with Baylan, and the map. I've seen some mixed reactions to it. I feel a little torn on it myself but overall I feel like it works.
I was mad at Sabine in that moment but not necessarily at the writing because I can understand why she made the choice she did. Natasha Liu Bordizzo made me buy it. The tortured pain in Sabine's face shows she knows it's the wrong decision but she can't help herself.
It felt very Trials of the Darksaber to me. Except, this time, she's ACTUALLY lost her biological family. And her found family. And her "master". She doesn't have Kanan there guiding her, holding her back, helping her work through things. She's alone. And Baylan's manipulating her, pushing all her buttons.
It felt very Sabine like in that moment, for her to be reckless and stupid and selfish. She's lost everything. She's the girl who was broken. Yes, she healed before, but then she was shattered again. She failed. She failed Kanan, failed Ezra, failed Ursa and Alrich and Tristan, failed Ahsoka. And now all she wants is to risk it all for the one person she still has a shot at saving. Is that too much for her to ask?
