Was anyone going to tell me that the Spongebob Musical was on Paramount +, or was I just supposed to find that out at 12:30 AM on a Tuesday?

Channel 12 ½

It’s been exactly one year since I wrote down my first idea for Channel 12½, a 13 episode cartoon about a group of friends solving a mystery in 90s russia, with some horror elements, and… 

In that year I wrote all 13 episodes and finalized the script up to episode 8

learnt to do some basic animation

made some self indulgent fanart, because who else is gonna do that

and finished the animatic of the first episode, here’s an excerpt:

next step is is voice acting and full animation,

I’m very excited about that~! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I’m hoping to release the first episode on youtube in 2022

your house has a gas leak

The old school lack of transparency on tumblr is amazing because you assume the people you follow must all be equivalent to you and then you see someone write “I brought my youngest to college today” and someone else write “my mom wouldn’t let me listen to Ariana Grande when I was a kid” and then your head explodes

The inverse of not just the joke, but the mode of delivery as well

I have a theory:

​Obscure jokes that get added on and proceed to be lost in the ocean and return very rarely

VS

Quick punchlines that are made to be replayed over and over again

An elephant casually stealing and then returning a wildlife photographer’s hat
