when i was in newsies, (the full version, not jr btw, so most of these people were adults, i was fr the only kid there) the guys who played jack and davey were dating, and because of that, it always felt like they had so much more chemistry than jack did with the girl that played katherine. the audience picked up on it too (i'm talking 92sies level gayness). so on closing night, during bows, jack and davey made out on stage for a solid minute or two while the audience was just watching. finally they stopped, bowed again yelled, 'javid is canon' and just skedaddled off stage
