I’m glad I haven’t accidentally spoiled anything- I don’t think I’ve said much past Treasure Island. Are you excited for the season in Jan? I’m very excited to see how they translate it, and what they cut/add.

I’m a little nervous bc I heard this is the final season they’re making, but there’s a lot more arcs ahead, so idk if they’re going to rush it or just cut it off or what.

Spoilers for all of Anime, as well as vague descriptions of later arcs

I def agree, Senkuu is the best leader shown in Dr. Stone and he does work well bc he’s science focused and most of civilization is also science focused. (Trying to avoid spoilers) Later in the story they encounter a group of people who directly oppose most of their values, a have to work with them. About here is when I would exchange Senkuu’s leadership with the 5 Generals, as things become more complicated.

It would be very funny to have an episode where Senkuu has to drop all the science and craft a legal system lmao.

I agree that Hyoga fighting Moz instead of Senkuu is evidence Hyoga supports women(idk that sentence is so funny. Hyoga supports women’s rights and women’s wrongs). To delve into more character stuff, I think this moment could also be tied to Hyoga’s interest in “incredible people.” He wanted to keep most people in stone and only revive petrified people who possess extraordinary skills, to create like a super powerful human race. In this situation, it’s either help Senkuu, who he says himself is on his level, or Moz, a strong enough guy but lacking awareness and also hates women. Hyoga chooses to help Senkuu as 1. He has that interest in Senkuu, and 2. Disagrees with Moz, thinking he is not an “incredible person.”

I totally agree with you, I just wanted to delve into his character, which I rarely get to do bc I don’t like him lol.

It’s totally cool that you’re an anime only watcher! I myself have read all the manga because I hyperfixated and needed to know what happened next IMMEDIATELY lmao. I actually prefer watching the anime, as having the characters audibly read their lines lets me focus more on the art and story beats, which is harder while reading. I’ll do my best to avoid manga spoilers!

First post/rant yayy

I don’t know it’s this is the extent to how other people see it but like the fact that we all exist is literally so strange

Like billions of other humans exist out in the world living their own lives unaware that maybe the person that they just walked past is going through something happy/sad and that’s just normal like???

And how are we the only species on earth on this, we can run on two feet, have fine motor skills, can form coherent thoughts and are aware of the world around us. Humans are so unique and it’s so fascinating to me we can have our own interests and hobbies and beliefs that are special to us

Like my all my dog knows is our house and neighborhood like she doesn’t know about the world around her because her world revolves around my family and I but then there’s me I’ve seen more of the world than she can fathom through pictures and my own travels I have my friend group and they have their lives to live outside their interactions with me

And even still your reading this in your spare time in between your classes, at a work break, on your bed anywhere at anytime you just lived out a day or are still finishing it you don’t know me and I don’t know you yet we all have one thing in common and that’s being *human*

Another thing is the way that we’re just little dots in time

The earth has been a thing for billions of years and I’m not even a dent at all I’m not even a dust particle compared to billions of years but I’m still living in this time where I can do the things that make me *me*

I could’ve been born at anytime in the history of the world but I was born in this century at the time I was and have been lucky to live this long and even if I can’t fathom making it past high school I know I will and that I’ll have to make something of myself

And then long after I die my life will be forgotten if I don’t make something big out of it, there are millions of lives lived that are unknown of full lives of real people that we don’t know about it

The fact that we exists in this time is amazing, long before we were born so much happened in the world and long after we die so much more will happen in this world and that’s if the we don’t destroy the place by then

Anywho if you're reading this ur amazing and Ty for reading or skimming through my entire rant because me ranting about random stuff I deem important may be kinda stupid but hopefully I’ll be able to give you a new outlook on something :P

ANYWAYS sooo I got more drawings I wish to share, My Hero Academia drawings that is. MUAHAHAHAHAHA- ok anyways

Ths is for my Cacophony Cacophony series! Which is comprised of five rebellious Teenagers in a rock band. Which comprises of Juro Mizushima, Shikanai Ekusenshi, Ranma Jiyu, Reza Usagi, and Tsuyoshi Tsunemi.

Usually play these characters in c.ai rps (because I have no life) and even then I use mainly Ranma, Shikanai and Juro. soo I've gotten so much more lore on em. Considering they're all parentless. Reza and Tsuyoshi are the only normal kids here (for now >:>)

I WILL tell you. These og drawings I don't NECESSARILY like since they were kinda my first depictions of them but rn I'm too lazy to get off my bed to find their better photos so these'll have to do.

FOR NOW!! I'm going to do two characters since there's alot of Yapping and talking, so we'll be focusing on Ranma and Shikanai this post!!

(plot twist, I finally but off my ass and took their pictures, I'll let you know you which ones are Ogs and redraws.)

FIRST DRAWING (Og) !! One of my favorite guys, Ranma Jiyu!

TW: few mentions of childhood abuse, but it's not in detail. and mention of a overdose but only for his mom

Ranma's a certified 'punk', and kind of like an 'evil' version of Hizashi?? He was definitely based off of Hizashi at some point, especially with his quirk, [HARMONIC], which allows him to 'manipulate sound waves to create sonic blasts' and also Hypnotize people. It's a combination of both his parents quirks and also pretty much The same as Hizashi's, but instead of his Quirk always being on, he has to CONCENTRATE to scream. Not concentrate to NOT scream, y'know?

and a lil backstory- his dad was a small time villain (Quirk; SIREN SCREAM) who had Ranma with his partner (Quirk; SIREN) for the purpose of creating another villain to mentor and take on the quote on quote "Family business" (when there wasn't really a family to begin with). Like this man was teaching his six-year-old son how to hijack cars and steal from grocery stores on a daily basis.

At the same time he wasn't really a good dad since he was abusive and neglectful of Ranma. Same with the mom too, she was SSOO neglectful! and he still loved them even as a small child who didn't realize that his parents weren't really good.

Ranma was also taught to hate heros since they 'Made his dad's "job" Harder'?? He was basically groomed into becoming a villain like his dad.

His DAD in question got arrested while Ranma was around 6-7, which fueled the kids hatred for Heroes. He was then put into foster home after foster home but he kept running away and like- hating everyone. How did Dad got arrested is kinda a crazy story.

BACKSTORY: so what happens is that Ranma is you, right? I wanna say 7 or 6, and His Dad basically leaves to go steal cars and resell them, and his Mom watches over him. she tells young Ranma that she's gonna take a nap and to not wake her up, but the thing is that she took a whole bunch of pills (either sleeping or illegal substance) and literally overdoses in her sleep. Little Ranma doesn't understand what happened so he tries waking her up before deciding to call the police (even though he was taught that the Police were 'bad people'). the Police came at the same time as Ranmas Dad and they arrest him before taking Ranma to the Fostering agency because he doesn't have any parents anymore. I totally didn't make this story up in a bot in C.ai, whaaaaaaat, that's crazy! anyways-

He ALSO had another au version where he embraces his father's villain's side and becomes a little villain himself named 'Soundweaver' who's just like.. this teenage delinquent who constantly gets caught by the police and is on a first name basis with like 30 different officers.

Like it'll literally be like-

Rookie officer: *holding a struggling Ranma* I caught this kid smashing mailboxes with his guitar!

Veteran Officer: oh, that's just Ranma

Rookie Officer: what?

Veteran Officer: hello Ranma.

Ranma: *sighs* hello officer Tanaka..

The Kid's kinda famous. Even in his non-villain arc he's still pretty famous around the police stations, just not as much since he plays guitar and sings in the band 'Cacophony Cacophony'. Little fun facts; he speaks English and likes English rock bands, and has a lip and eyebrows piercing which was done by his Bio parents. He's also Cupiosexual, Gender fluid and Bisexual! He's very open about his identity and sexulality and even dyed his hair to match the colourd of the Genderfluid flag! he's also very expressive with his clothing, and likes crossdressing.

In some rps he wears Hearing aids, but I don't know if that's canonical

He was also originally named Kyoka (mainly because I used ai to come up with names at the time and I didn't realize that it was a girl's name) because his parents were expecting a girl, so when the kid was born a boy they decided to just keep the name instead of coming up with another name. Also Kyoka Jiro?? I didn't know her name was KYOKA????

Alright that's enough Ranma,

onto my next favorite boi! Shikanai Ekusenshi! (Og)

this is Shikanai , and uh.. *this is a really bad photo of him.* Reza too, she's got better photos I swear-

So Shikanai has kinda changed over the months, but basically he's a kid who has extremely bad social issues, DID, and just a heck ton of problems.

His Quirk is called [BATTERY]! He can take the energy out of both humans (life force) and electronics (Electricity) and either store it or transfer it to either himself or other people/electronics. His Quirk was originally called Life force Absorption and he could only take the energy from humans, but I edited his quirk a bit. Basically how his quirk works is that Energy (for him) in all things is a 100% digit battery. Meanwhile he, Shikanai, has TWO 100% batteries. (His second battery is basically a extra storage unit).

He can take a certain percentage of someone/somethings battery and add it to his own battery IF he has the room. For example, say he has 50% battery in himself and he takes 100% battery from something else. That first battery (which is HIS personal battery) fills up to 100% and his second battery gets the excess. This does mean he has a limit of how much he can absorb, but as long as he has the room, he can take it.

*(Thing is that Electric Battery and Life force are completely different things, and he can only use Life force on himself and others (who are alive). So he can use Electrical stuff on other electronics, but they can be stored the same battery unit)*

another thing he can do is USE the energy in his batteries for himself. So, for example, if he himself has 40% battery and his storage battery has 10%, he can use that energy to fill up his first battery and gain more Energy. Fun fact! He can also use this to kill people by taking away 100% of their energy! (Which he may ot may not have done before, but it's not like he'd TELL.) but if his personal battery goes below 10% then he gets super sick (like throwing up and fever type of sick). and if it gets to zero he either dies, goes into a comatose state, or literally starts acting like he stayed up 5 days in a row (like a zombie basically). I wanna say I like Zombie Shikanai better but I ain't too sure which'll be canon

Also, another thing, Shikanai has DID! (Dissociative Identity Disorder; a mental health condition that involves the presence of two or more distinct identities, or "alters". -Wikipedia),

NOTE; (I Do not have DID so i am not a expert at it. I do have 1+ friends who have it though so I have a good understanding of it. I also did a whole bunch of research while making Shikanai's alters/experiences. Please don't like.... Kill me, or something-)

ShIkanai has 7 Alters, Hikiagenshi, Jousuke, Yūkoku, Mukō/Hinata (technically counts as two but nobody really knows), Yachiyo, Dempei and Ren. Each of his alters has their own distinct personality AND Quirk, which leads to my usually pondering question of what DID Alters would look like in the MHA world. Like- would hey have their own quirks? Would they have similar quirks or have like something completely opposite? I know it's one of those "It's not that deep bro" questions but its something I lile thinking about. Soooo i guess Shikanai could be sort of my own take on it??

ANYWAYS. Shikanai is like- such a traumatized, anxious mess. Like this guy has depression, GAD (generalized anxiety disorder), Insomina, ARFID (Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder) and on top fo that DID-, Like one at a time, jeez! (Im joking, but he has alot of problems). not to mention he has stuttering problems

So Shikanai, as you can probally guess, has no parents. where are they? not here! They might've abandoned him when he first got his quirk at like.. 3?? 4? I dunno, But i DO know that he doesn't have any. he currently live in either a group home or Foster home (Ain't too sure yet) and Plays guitar in the band.

(I'll probably do a post with Shikanai's alters. I got actual designs for them and personalities!)

And Lil fun fact, He had a Canonical death! like if he WAS to die, then he has a canon way he dies. actually all of Cacophony Cacophony does, except for Ranma who survives (lone survivor frfr). It's kinda depressing to think about, but It's more like an interesting "what if AU"

Alright thats enoughh Yapping, mainly because I legit forget if I wanted to show any more information... uuuhh anywhoo- So that's 2 out of 5ish of Cacophony Cacophony! I'll show up with more of my guys in the future but for now, enjoy!

Thinking about how the arcane artists and designers made sure isha had big eyes to make us see her more innocent and childlike (and make her death hurt even more.) They do this with the other children in the main cast, but with Isha they make sure to push it further, her eyes were bigger, full of wonder joy and innocence, just to make her have a stronger impact as a character

They do this same thing to powder to an extent, they don’t push it as far with her character but they do it, this plays in to how jinx and powder’s character models change, one of the main differences is her eyes because eyes are so key when it comes to character design and shape language and how we perceive each character

the idea and concept of nakayama and his ships—where did they come from?

the idea for nakayama originated from my jujitsu kaisen interest i’m pretty sure? i mainly based him off of choso (but with religious trauma) (hence his ability, lapvona, which allows him to manipulate blood in any form unlike nathaniel’s which is more controlled) and when my friend reese brought up dazai once i was like “oh, maybe they should be friends!” and that’s one of the first ships i made.

i think the idea of nakayama x nikolai came to me in a dream, where there was this REALLY cursed fic with the tag “portal fucking”. i don’t know how to feel about that but the premise of the fic was that nakayama met nikolai and they ended up…yeah. hooking up. IM PRETTY SURE ATSUSHI WATCHED TOO???? but the ship is slightly more tame now—despite nakayama considering him “another body to dispose when he’s done with him” or when he’s not of use to him anymore.

i’m pretty sure when i first met poe (or when reese introduced me to him, far before nakayama even existed—i’m pretty sure my first oc was fumiko) i IMMEDIATELY loved him. still do btw but when nakayama came to existence i was like “man. i can’t really ship nakayama with dazai, can i?” so when the idea of nakapoe came to me I RAN FOR THE HILLS WITH THE SHIP IN MY ARMS because MY GOD did i love the idea. i’m pretty sure i built the dynamic in c.ai? i’m not too sure but the dynamic is pretty interesting (because i killed off this character that was poe’s best friend and nakayama reminded him of that friend, his name was river in the sense of “crossing the jordan river” which is a metaphor for death)

i’m pretty sure the idea of shibusawa x nakayama also came to me in a dream? also the whole “shibusawa, am i pretty” and “yes, you look wonderful” made it…considerable? despite that they don’t have many interactions together

what if because of Fyodors (possible or confirmed unsure) religious past and present, he thinks Atsushi isnt “man” enough due to his reaction to his offer to join the DOA, he see’s him more a “boy” and less than a “man” because he’s more emotional.

What if the orphanage told Atsushi that and that’s why he’s so insecure and why thinks he’s so weak, i believe there are SOME implications that the orphanage could’ve possibly been religious, and with how he was treated its possible they could’ve told him stuff like how he’s “not ready to be a man yet” because he’d was just a more emotional kid

Considering Luffy very clearly has a heavy obsession with beetles, I like to imagine that the only thing that he takes the time to read would be any kind of factual books about beetles.

Like he wouldn’t take in actual important information that people feed him but he’d happily read about beetles.

Honestly the only people I probably don't have beef with is Chloe - she has a severe case of mommy issues, daddy issues, spoiled brat syndrome but she's always slayed, justice for my Queen Bee who tf is Zoe GET HER OUTTTTTT - and Luka, but that's because I remember early season Luka and idk if he's changed. I got beef with everyone in this God forsaken show.

I love how when you first read Catch-22, it can be, well, kind of confusing near the beginning. However, at least in my case, since it was interesting and well written I personally didn't mind.

But slowly, everything sort of ties itself together. It also gets increasingly more and more serious. An obvious example of this would be chapter 39, 'The Eternal City.' But for me, one that really stuck out to me was chapter 32, 'Yo-Yo's Roomies.' It really did a good job of showing how much Yossarian truly missed Orr, no matter how many times Orr pissed off Yossarian.

At the same time, that chapter I also found notably funny in the way it's written. Especially the lines "They reminded him of Donald Duck's nephews," and "They had not brains enough to be introverted and repressed." and I just love how it's them being nice and friendly to Yossarian with overall good intentions xD.

Also rereading this makes things so much more understandable. All the random details mentioned, its even better when you know the context behind those little references, like "It was still more frustrating to try to appeal directly to Major Major, the long and bony sqaudron commander, who looked a little bit like Henry Fonda in distress and went jumping out the window of his office each time Yossarian bullied his way past Sergent Towser to speak to him about it." It's fun reading that actually knowing who Major Major Major Major is and why he does in fact, jump out the window.

I think that's kind of why some people dislike/give up on this book (well part of the reason) because it can seem kind of random the first time through, but for me personally, that was part of the beauty of it the first time I read it. Idk though, I just personally reveled in the beginning chaos.

it may not seem like it but i think he has a really high emotional intelligence. he knew what kind of a person mizu is and he sensed that he must stay at her side because you know, she'll definetly need him. it's just mizu herself didn't know it yet so he had to prove his point :)

+ off topic but besides admiring mizu and seeing her as a master, as a friend, ringo chosed that path for mostly himself. like, he saw a lot of new things, places, people. learned so much and felt useful. he probably experienced way more stuff than he had in his previous lifestyle. i feel like gaining a close friend and helping someone to be great are just bonus points

thinking about how Ringo was so insistent on being Mizu's apprentice that he fr still followed her around after she literally threatened to kill him

I took a nap earlier in the afternoon and even though I didn't sleep for long, I had a dream...

I don't remember most of it (as one usually does) but what I do remember is putting on my roller skates... and in the [I think] school I was in, I somehow had the determination and confidence to actually skate really fast...

Like I did such a sharp turn and even jumped and I remember that part so so vividly I felt so excited !
