You were walking back to Liyue to get a quick snack. It was a peaceful day, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, the flowers were blooming, on days like these you would be walking with your brother like you did before, but now it’s like a distant memory. You shook your head to get the image of your brother out of your mind and continued your way to Wanmin restaurant.

You saw a familiar figure talking to Xiangling and Gouba

“Ah! Zhong li”

You said with a surprised look

The three of them looked up and saw you

“Awh! Traveler, you’re here!”

“Yeah…I wanted to get a quick snack before I start my commissions”

“Well since you’re here I can take your order”

“Awh…thanks Xiangling”

“Eehe! No problem”

You ordered her special dish, she went inside and started cooking with gouba you looked at Zhong li and said your greetings to him

“Hey Zhong li, how have you been?”

“I have been well Y/n, I was just passing by but I saw my old friend and wanted to chat a little before I continued my walk…care to join me after your food is done?”

“I would love to!”

You said with a smile

He studied your beautiful brown eyes, your dark skin, and your messy yet beautiful hair, he coughed a little and smiled you smiled back and you two started talking after awhile Xiangling came out with your order

“Here you go Y/N”

“Oh…Thanks, Xiangling”

“Well...I need to go now I have a feeling XIngqiu is pranking Chon Yun again”

Xiangling let out a sigh and started jogging in the opposite direction. You laughed a little and offered Zhong Li to walk with him since you can spare a few minutes.

“Oh…very well then let us go”

You two walked and talked to one another while you take a few bites of your food you offered Zhong li some but he declined, you laughed at his flustered face and he just looked away

You both found yourselves at Bubu pharmacy, walking up the stairs, and then you stopped at the bridge near the waterfalls you both stopped and looked at the waterfalls listening to the water, hearing the birds sing, and enjoying the cold breeze blowing toward the both of you you both were silent sometimes hearing bites and chews from you since you were still eating.

“Hey, Y/n?”

“Hmmm?”

You looked at him while chewing your food trying not to speak with food in your mouth

“Can I have a bite of your food, maybe on bite wouldn’t hurt”

You beamed and giggled you handed your food to Zhong li and he took a bite

“hmm…it is delicious once I have enough mora I”ll buy two for the two of us”

You smiled at him and he smiled back, then he returned your food to you and you started eating again while watching the waterfall.

Then Zhong li heard Hu tao’s shout

“AIYA!! MR. ZHONG LIIIIIII!

“Hiiiya! It took me a while to find you!”

“Ah…Hu tao sorry I lost track of time”

“Hiiiya! Come on! I still need your help back at the funeral parlor”

“You go on ahead I will be there soon”

“Hmmmph…you better”

With a huff, Hu tao turned her back to Zhong li

“I-…I miss her too you know…it was hard to lead her to the afterlife so early”

And with that, she ran back to Bubu's pharmacy to wait for Zhong li there trying not to shed a tear.

Zhong li went out a loud sigh he looked next to him and looked at the food he bought on the railing of the bridge he grabbed it and reopened the wrapping revealing a small bite made by him…only him…..then he started walking towards the stairs then he heard your voice echoing behind him

“Zhong li thank you for taking me on this walk. I enjoyed your company. Let's do it again next time!”

He stopped and turned around only to see a butterfly fluttering around, he looked at the food that you offered him that day and he started eating it with tears coming down.

“…It doesn’t taste the same…”

Arakaki is quiet, socially awkward, straight-forward, and loyal to his friends. Overanalyzing everything and being paranoid but knows when to let his guard down when he wants to relax a bit. He tends to try and not stick out much to grab unwanted attention, prefers to stay on people's good side, and makes sure to think before he opens his mouth to not offend people he has said things that offended some people ( the tweels, Vil, Rook). He's used to loud, obnoxious, energetic people since his best friend is one as well, he also knows how to calm people down when angry but sometimes fails if he doesn't know them well. He acts like a big brother to the first years, Doesn't mind Cheka and Ortho but is awkward with kids. He asked Iida or Ortho to make him a skateboard cause he missed skating and sometimes imagines his best friend skating with him to comfort and distress.

He uses his nicknames (Yuu and Alice) when meeting new people and when he's satisfied that they mean no harm he"ll tell them his real name, he prefers the nickname Yuu when talking to new people and the nickname Alice is for his best friend but wouldn't mind people calling him that. He's usually quieter and speaks when he wants to when he's with another friend group and doesn't mind lending an ear to people who need it.

When you first meet him he looked reserved, not willing to talk, and a bit intimidating at first, especially with a face that lacks emotion, very straightforward to everyone and might offended them, he participates in class a lot and makes sure to double-check everything before he turns in his projects, homework, etc. He doesn't tolerate groupmates/people who don't cooperate with him.

After talking to him you find out he means well and doesn't do it out of malice, he makes sure to get good grades because his mama wasn't always satisfied with his grades so it stuck with him, but his papa just made sure he isn't fooling around school, he needs some reassurance that a grade doesn't define his whole character. His look was more scared and sad before but after the killings and losing and almost losing his friends, he tends to not show emotion because he still can't figure out his feelings or emotions properly.

Due to the " Eye-catcher" killings that started in his city, he became more paranoid and afraid he has a small pocket knife for self-defense since one of his two best friends were victims (one dead the other alive) of the killings he became more overprotective, less trusting, and paranoid of everyone and will not hesitate to self-sacrifice himself for the sake of the people he cares about.

Some Relationships

Grim 🐱:

At first, he thought Grim was a tanuki so he tried to pet him and almost got burned alive by Grim, After living and dealing with Grim's nonsense Arakaki got used to it quickly making sure he didn't get involved too much of being seen as a nagging father. Arakaki cooks for the both of them sometimes and when they don't have enough food to cook he makes sure to rationalize the remaining food much to Grim's dismay since his appetite was huge.

Grim sees Arakaki as a guardian or a found family letting Arakaki pamper him even in public, Grim even naps near Arakaki on his lap, next to him on the couch, and even on the table when he's doing homework. Grim sometimes lets Arakaki hug him when he's crying that's the least he could do to comfort him.

❤️Ace and Deuce ♠️:

He didn't expect them to be friends after the whole mining thing he was surprised he became friends with them quickly, he feels nostalgic for being with Ace and deuce and feels like he's back at home. Ace sometimes teases Arakaki for being shy around others and says " He's like a white rabbit always checking his pocket watch" but will stop if Arakaki isn't in the mood, Ace asks Arakaki to train him cause he wanted to learn but got bored when Arakaki showed him the basics first then doing the action. Ace treats Arakaki as a brother who is there but knows not to snitch on him.....sometimes.

Deuce was an odd fellow to Arakaki at first he knew Deuce was hiding something but decided not to bring it up but during the mining incident and breaking of eggs he got a clearer view of who Deuce was and respected him so much and even gave Deuce advise. Deuce reminded him of his best friend back at home and is more close to deuce because of it. Deuce will be shocked if Arakaki says blunt things but got used to it.

Ace LOVES Arakaki's cooking and would seak out with Deuce to the Ramshackle dorm when they find out Arakaki cooked something. Arakaki would check on both Ace and Deuce to make sure they don't blow anything up for fear of getting punished. Arakaki would tutor Ace, Deuce, and Grim so they won't fail the exams and they appreciate the hassle especially deuce.

They both were confused when he told them to call him Yuu or Alice they asked why and Arakaki explained that he doesn't give out his name willy-nilly to people he just met especially in a whole other dimension. After a while, they learned his real name but still call him Yuu instead.

Jack Howl🐺:

First meeting Jack he wasn't intimidated he was used to seeing buff tall men with scary faces it barely fazed him (He has an uncle who's 7'0ft so, of course, he wouldn't affect him) he saw Jack as a straight-forward guy who didn't want to be bothered and thought he would see the last of Jack at the spell drive tournament but then Adeuce and Grim made a contact with an Octo boy, After that whole fiasco Jack started hanging out with the other first years, he tries to be more polite but still be straight forward and Arakaki helps him with that. Jack loves that Arakaki likes sports but was sad he didn't join the track and field club but didn't mind training with Arakaki like jogging and even asked if Arakaki could teach him how to do kendo.

Jack also LOVES Arakaki's cooking and even asked for some of the recipes so he can make it or Ruggie can make it back at their dorm.

He knew Epel wasn't who he seemed so he tried to avoid Epel at first but after some time grew to trust him more, Arakaki would be taken aback if Epel talked or yelled in his southern accent but got used to it would also warn Epel if Vil is near. Epel hates it when Arakaki asks Vil for a skincare routine cause he's sometimes pulled to do it with Arakaki, Epel also asked to also learn kendo so he has more muscle and appear more masculine Arakaki had to give him a pep talk to not overdo it and give his training time and patience.

Epel also LOVES Arakaki's cooking especially if he makes ribs he risks getting caught if it means eating delicious juicy ribs.

He didn't mind the yelling Arakaki was numb at that point he let Sebek scream all he wants but will ask him to use his inside voice for the sake of others, doesn't mind Sebek talking about Malleous and how great he is cause Araaki wanted to learn more about Malleus, One time asked Sebek to help him with homework and gets lectured instead. Arakaki asked to spar and Sebek decided to be boastful and kept telling Arakaki he was just a weak human and didn't have the strength but was impressed with Arakaki's skills and started to respect him a little more, Sebek asked Arakaki if he could teach him some kendo for extra protection to Malleous ( of course he does).

Sebek doesn't say this but he loves that Arakaki give him food so he doesn't have to eat Lilia's food (Ugly cries in his room from happiness someone doesn't find him annoying and treats them like how a friend would)

Divus Crewel 🐶:

Basically, his dad but instead of a fashion designer you get an alchemy teacher, at first Arakaki tried so hard not to call Crewel papa cause he almost looked and acted like him it scared and confused him. 3 overblots later when Arakaki stayed behind to help Crewel clean the cauldron he used after cleaning it Crewel said "Good boy! Thank you for helping me again pup I appreciate it" Arakaki said "No problem papa am always here to help" Crewel stopped and looked at Arakaki as Arakaki realized the mistake he made, and he started to apologize to Crewel and he just laughed. Crewel did ask why Arakaki called him papa and Arakaki explained he was just like his own papa and even spoke like him, Crewel, of course, was shocked but patted Arakaki on the head "Am just glad you're finding your way through this world pup even if you feel like you don't belong here"

After that Crewel basically adopted Arakaki as his own and soils him but makes sure he doesn't play favorites during class.

2 big brothers who hate each other that's all I have to say

Leona just sleeps with Arakaki one time Arakaki slept for so long Leona thought he was dead, forces Arakaki to hang out with Cheka even tho he is awkward around them. Leona sometimes forces asks Arakaki to cook some of his cultural dishes cause he said he kinda missed the food he was served spoiled much smh, he even asked Arakaki to train with him and was also impressed with Arakaki's skills and even complimented him only once tho.

Malleous carries Arakaki on his shoulder sometimes (scaring people half to death) and he rambles about gargoyles and Arakaki listens, Arakaki invites Malleous to ice cream or tea or sometimes just to walk around at night and talk about gargoyles, he even convinces Malleous to try the technology and teaches Malleous the basics he is still confused but appreciates that Arakaki tries his best. Spoils Arakaki sometimes and even invited Arakaki to his kingdom. (Sebek was heard screaming bloody murder)

Arakaki didn't like Azul at first and wanted to get things over with because Azul reminded him of a classmate back in his world, but after his overblot and the events in Scarabia he starts to see Azul in a new light and started talking to him more, Azul spoke to Arakaki more professionally than as an acquaintance but their relationship started to grow when Arakaki joined the board game club and working for Azul for extra madol. He started to develop feelings for Azul but makes sure to hide it Azul in fear of his reputation and afraid to get rejected, on the other hand, is not good at hiding his feelings but he does make excuses for it. Azul was a bit insecure about Arakaki seeing Azul in his octopus form but Arakaki supports and encourages him to be more confident in himself and even cooks some healthy/diet food for Azul and on his cheat day makes Azul's favorite food and Azul loves it. He was intrigued when Arakaki showed him his skills and asked if he could teach him some but Azul embarrassed himself in front of him and never bought it up again. Azul would duet with Arakaki when playing the piano and Arakaki even played the harp for Azul and bought Azul and the tweels to tears.

Azul appreciates Arakaki making him feel and look good about himself and helping him with some of the paperwork. Arakaki would leave some sticky notes saying positive and supportive words on it and it would make Azul's day

Arakaki goes to walk his papa's dog and his hedgehog he brings his skateboard around and hangs out on the abandoned train track, dog park, and cafes. He would bring the dog and hedgehog when he goes to visit his papa or best friend.

He hangs out at cafes a lot and stays there for a long time he's either reading or doing projects sometimes he'd even sleep there (unintentionally) but will be woken up by staff.

He likes to skate/stroll around his school campus in his world and Night Raven college, he didn't stroll around NRC at first but after meeting Malleous he strolls around now but still keeps his guard up.

He tends to hold hands with someone who he's comfortable with because he sometimes has panic attacks he usually holds Ace and Deuce's hands and they try their best to help him.

He works at the Monstro lounge for extra cash as a waiter and even played the harp for entertainment, there were some demands for him to play the harp again.

He works like a delivery boy in a really famous building that's in the city he lives in, he works with Aylen and friends from his school for money but only people who have experience can apply their specific speed, durability, strength, etc. Aylen works as a cook while Arakaki works as a delivery boy and they provide them with a motorcycle or bike for them. They both work on the same day when they're scheduled they don't go there every day as the work is for more experienced they just lend a helping hand. If Arakaki and Aylen aren't cooking or delivering they run errands for other people.

But other than that for some reason, it feels like she’s staring at you….but she‘s not looking at me why do you have this feeling other than that her guard is always up, knows when someone is hiding something and is good at sussing out details. And she somehow knows what's going on even if she doesn't look up from her desk which a lot of people are confused and scared about her....like she knows everything around her even when she's unfamiliar with the place. When she’s mad or irritated people tend to avoid her at all costs and only Arakaki and her other friends can calm her down……..

Even tho rumors spread, parents came to the school and complain their kids were injured for “no reason” she never got in trouble there wouldn't be enough evidence or the witnesses would back Aylen's alibi, she would have excuses sure sometimes the excuse doesn’t work but 1 week of detention isn’t that bad. Tho strangely some of the students never reported her almost as if she threatened them…..but hey no one knows for sure what goes on people just keep a repeatable distance from her and don’t cause trouble in fear.

She may not look like it but she is physically strong and won’t hesitate to use brute force when it leads to that, she usually kicks more than punches but will switch if she feels like it, surprisingly athletic when she’s in the mood to do some would be seen playing volleyball or doing kendo with Arakaki, she’d even use her armis when she wants to spar. Tho as athletic as she is she tends to not participate in sport events and just stick to the side and watch, she doesn’t play sports or exercise often but she does walk their family dog and cat early in the morning before going to school or somewhere, her brother, dad or even Arakaki would also join her.

Aylen also loves to perform shadow/puppet shows to tell stories or entertain her friends or the kids she babysits since kids love to hear wacky stories like she did, she started to do puppet shows for the first time when she had a dream and wanted to tell her parents but they couldn't visualize the character Aylen was describing so she made some puppets with paper and sticks and did a puppet show for them. (They still didn't understand but got the gist of what she dreamt of at least) and after that, she started making her own puppets and her own stories, Aylen does puppet shows to tell stories or just explain something to people in a more fun way she even performs a puppet show while she sings as well. Aylen also has a puppet where it somehow has a mind of its own and can talk but only Aylen and a few others can understand it.

Plays the ukulele and guitar and sometimes makes covers but never posts them she’d let her family and friends listen to, can also draw but it's more of a hobby so she doesn't take it too seriously she does it when she has nothing to do and because her therapist recommended it and she stuck with it.

Her bedroom is in the attic (took a lot of convincing to move her room) since it has easier access to the roof so she can star gaze and distress.

Pocket Dimension

Aylen has a pocket dimension she got from her mom, Aylen can grab stuff from her sleeves (like Ayato or Clara Valac) and she can even grab objects or living things out of her sleeves, pockets, bags, closets, etc. As long as she has access to anything with a space inside like a bag or sleeve.

Snake eyes

Aylen can see things even with her eyes closed. What she can see is that everything is color black and people's outlines are yellow when she looks at people. Aylen can also see people's real selves or what they were in the past behind them she's looking at the person but also looking at their shadow "The source of the soul" as she says (for example a guy who looks nice and treats people well, and people think he's a real good guy, how Aylen sees him as a guy who's two-faced who gaslights people and takes advantage of people's weaknesses).

After the " Eye-catcher" killings she became warier of people and she started to use her eyes and other senses more because of the events, she might seem she isn't paying attention but she is you just never know it since she became more observant of her surroundings, she's developed trust issues so if you think she trusts you she doesn't she just does it to seem nice to new people, tends to be paranoid and overthink but tries to remain calm and she started to utilize her time and plans everything from A to Z (Like how Kokomi does it but in her mind instead of writing).

Her eyes can also roll around and uses it to her advantage to examine people more and to see which might be a threat, who she can talk to, or to avoid as much as possible or examine her environment making plans, and taking notes of where the nearest exits are. She sleeps with an eye mask her mom gave her when she sleeps without her eye mask people think she's asleep but she's really pretending to be asleep but is watching people who are awake. She also wears glasses cause she does open her eyes and she has to put on eye drops since her eyes can get irritated from time to time.

HATES it when people point sharp objects towards her god forbid next to her eye she might attack you for doing that.

This curse was passed down for generations it started during the middle ages, the story varies from generation to generation but the story goes like this........

Once in a kingdom that has been long forgotten to time there ruled a King who only wanted gold and power and demanded respect from everyone and a Queen who always want the finest dresses, shoes, jewelry, furniture, etc. So people would shower her with compliments and always make sure people talked about her, and there was their daughter a Princess whose heart was gold unlike her parents and she would give up everything to please the people even if it cost her life.

One day when the princess was out helping the farmers her foot got stuck in the mud a peasant boy helped her out and even helped to clean her shoe the princess wanted to reward the peasant but the peasant said he wanted nothing more than bread so the princess gifted him bread the princess was intrigued by the peasant's request so after they both got acquainted and both agreed to send a letter to one other day after day night after night letter after letter they both started a friendship in secret the peasant even snuck into the princess's quarters at night to show her what the town is like.

Soon after that friendship became more they started a forbidden relationship and made sure to hide their tracks it work for a few years but then the King and Queen wanted the princess to finally marry one of the princes in the neighboring kingdom, horrified at the news they both made a plan to run away from the kingdom with what riches the princess has. But it was tricky since they realized the princess was pregnant which made things more complicated to plan.

When the king and queen found out they arrested the peasant in the dungeon, they tortured him and made the princess hear his screams of agony the princess pleaded for his released and let her be tortured but the king and queen had other plans. They accused the peasant of assaulting the princess and forcing her into silence and not telling anyone the people believed this story and harassed the boy's family the princess was forced into isolation and was more guarded whenever she goes out and was forced to be silenced by her parents to the point they threatened to kill her and the child she will bare.

Before the boy's execution, his mother had cursed the child the princess was baring and that the child and the child next to them will have a shadow that follows them and will bring fear and disaster to all who know them if their heart is filled with greed and hatred and the curse will never be broken.

Before the execution, the boy was well aware of what his mother has done so he cursed the princess as well but it was to counteract his mother's curse the curse he laid upon the person to be tamed to objects they desire and sealed from the eyes of people if the child's heart is filled with kindness and love even when they are struck with despair they would always find hope in the darkest times.

The princess went on to marry the prince of the neighboring kingdom unaware of the curse inflicted on her and her child, when the child was born the curse showed itself when the princess now queen was arguing with her husband it was tall, large, and it took the form of a woman in a gown but shredded with a crooked long neck but the head was a cracked baby porcelain doll. They soon found out who had cursed the child but couldn't do anything because the woman who cursed her was long dead now so they could do nothing but make sure no one sees the child's shadow, the king thought the child how to fear his own shadow and reflection showing him how if he's weak he can never succeed in life, but the queen thought him how to love himself for who he is even when he's weak he can be strong in his own way. The child chooses its own path in how to handle the curse and themselves...let's just say most of their ancestors chose to fear and hate their shadow most of them contained their shadow but it was only a few.

As generations pass so did the curse it takes the form of what the cursed feared or what they thought other people see them, or what their imagination thought it looks like. What is strange about this curse is that the ones who curse are random sometimes it'd be the oldest then the youngest, then the middle child, then the curse wouldn't even be passed down to the kids. If the cursed one usually seals their shadow inside something they don't have to look at every day or something that they despise, or it's an object of their choosing. Sometimes the shadow can take a physical form if they feel threatened or the cursed use them to protect themselves, sometimes they hide in the shadow of the person who is cursed and when people see their shadow they see the curse and the form of what the cursed sees them as there were no traces of the one who we're cursed to put seal their shadow in a thing that can move like a doll or anything so it was a shock when the shadow was sealed but was able to move freely in a doll or a puppet.

One story that's told is that of an ancestor they have who used her shadow to defend her kingdom from an enemy kingdom who did not go down without a fight she fought fearlessly with her shadow and became victorious at the end of it all and she showed her shadow not to shame it but to show it off some say it represents no matter who or what you have you can come out victorious in the end, some say it represents not to hide your flaws but to embrace it instead. But no one knows until now it's all interpretation.

Aylen was different instead of hiding away from the curse she embraced it unlike her dad, she treated it like an imaginary friend when she was a baby her parents gave her a doll that was colored black and white and looked like a jester that she kept grabbing on when they were shopping for new toys for her, so the shadow took the form of the stuffed jester, as Aylen grew up she loved her doll and her "imaginary friend" her dad got scared that the shadow manifested to early but he made sure to not talk to her friend too much and not to give it a name.

Aylen now treats her curse as if it was a part of herself like a flaw she chooses to show people sure she keeps it sealed sometimes but the shadow can move the doll or puppet so she doesn't have to, her shadows act like Dr. Facilier's shadow has a mind of its own can talk or report back to them, and even grab physical objects.

Shadows of fate

Thanks to her curse she trained herself and her cursed shadow to their advantage, Aylen can travel/go through shadows to her benefit she can also sprint using shadows (like a Mona or Mobius sprint), and she can also see people's deepest darkest fears (using or not using her shadow) and use it against them and can even show them what it is when you see their eyes turn yellow with an upside-down cross for a pupil. She can also control other people's shadows like a puppeteer that controls their puppet but it depends on how the light is if it's too bright it might not work well (like Ruggie's unique magic). She can also appear out of nowhere example a dark corner like she's walking out of there even tho they saw her in the canteen it can also work to scare off people or to surprise attack people. She can also disappear and reappear like the Cheshire cat and appear as a shadow (usually does this to hide but mostly for fun )

The storm filled with screams

One trick she never does until it comes to the last resort is that she can summon all other people's shadows but not just any it's their Darkside or shadows of what they fear, hate, want to forget, etc, and manifest shadow like a sand storm and will be filled with screams and moaning the opponent will be filled in dread and fear seeing the shadows and Aylen just watches them shrivel in feat until they pass out from exhaustion, sometimes Aylen will show them their deepest fears if their being resilient to the shadow storm

Giggles (Aylen's shadow)

It was a manifestation thanks to the doll her parents bought her so it uses the doll as a vessel so it can move around but Aylen made another vessel for it but as a puppet so it uses the puppet to also move. Giggles is usually seen when you look at Aylen's shadow meaning it's not in one of its vessels, when giggles is in one of its vessels it will walk around or usually stays with Aylen on her shoulder or Aylen is carrying it. It helps Aylen when she's doing something like say Aylen is taking notes giggles in holding her correction tape with other pens with other colored ink, or when Aylen is cooking or baking giggles is there to stir ingredients or to get the ingredients and pour them into the mix, or when Aylen is just chilling around giggles is just their as well. Giggles can also eat but even giggles don't know where the food goes it just eats small portions of food like a cracker Aylen would give giggles a small portion of her food to giggles and that's what giggles eat, doesn't eat a lot but eats whenever they feel like it even if it can't digest it.

Aylen can fuse with giggles to take full control of it more and when giggles are being attacked and Aylen is inside it Aylen comes out of giggles with black substances coming out with Aylen. Since Aylen is athletic and strong she can control giggles more fluently and it would be easier for close-distanced attacks. And when Aylen and giggles aren't fused giggles can mimic Aylen's movements like a puppet to its puppeteer, but it depends on the light if it to bright it might not come on since it might burn giggles (won't kill it but Aylen will feel the pain of the burns).

-You guys became partners for a project and you were not on board at first but after you talked to him and listened to his suggestions it felt nice, you’ve heard rumors about him from a handful of people and you felt a bit bad believing the rumors.

-He recommended doing the project at a café and you agreed, both of you exchanged numbers and said your farewell to each other and went on with your day, once the day you agreed on the date of the making of the project you went to the café called “Angel’s mocha café”, once you entered the café you started to look for Diluc, seeing you, he waved to know where he was. After settling down and having a little chat, you excused yourself to buy yourself [insert favorite coffee], he nodded and you went to the counter to order, after ordering you returned to your seat and started doing the project.

-You both were doing your work quietly. Sometimes you ask him for his suggestion and he gives you some suggestions after you both are done you let out a sigh and stretch a little and he looked away you were confused but decided to ignore it. You asked if he could stay a little to chat before leaving. He was hesitant at first but he agreed.

-You talked about your interests and in return, you also learned of his interests tho he listened more, you didn’t mind it was nice having someone listen to you while you talked, you talked and talked until you lost track of time, once you noticed the time you apologized for keeping him in the café for so long, but he said he had a good time. You blushed at his words and tried to hide it

“Sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?”

“Oh no no i-it’s uh…fine really I didn’t mind”

“That’s good I was worried if I did”

-After that, you walked out of the café together and before you bid your farewells he asked if you were up for a coffee again at the same place and same time, you agreed and went back to your dorms/homes.

-After a week or so of getting coffee with Diluc you both started talking after classes, going to the park with each other, and even went to the movies, you fell for Diluc it was hard to keep a straight face when he’s next to you and in return, he also left hints he liked you but you chose to ignore it.

-The time came when you finally told your feelings to him and he also told his feelings to you, he took your hand and kissed your fingers and your face was flushed he laughed a little and put the palm of your hand on his cheek and kept kissing it you covered your face with your free hand while blushing profusely.

-After that you guys started dating which has the perks of Diluc tutoring you with subjects you struggle with, the two of you cuddling in your dorm, getting lunch together, and one time going to a beach party Jean invited the two of you.

-He’ll start calling you pet names like Darling, Love, Beloved, Hun bun, etc. And he’ll just see your face flushed and he’d laugh a little

-Diluc introduced you to some of his friends (like Jean, amber, Lumine, Aether) and introduced you as his partner, and made sure he’d say your pronouns if anyone ever say something bad to you like “you look like a boy so you should use he/him” or “You’re using they and them wrong” or even “There are only 2 genders” he’d step in and tell them off or just threaten them. After the people leave he’d hug and say sweet things to you like “don’t listen to them it’s not their life it's yours” or something like “you are you don’t let people tell you what you should and shouldn’t be” and give you kisses to make you feel better.
