A Kaeya Possible Death Headcanon...

OK some of these have my personal head cannons, so here are my reason 

Carter : before he never once had a Kit-kat, so when Leila gave him one, he ate it like that, and she just gave him a glare, but he didn’t understand why, so he just continues to eat it like that and the others find it too funny.

Leila : is it the way it should be eaten. Why? Because I personally had a canon her to be more updated on trend, considered socially good  despite being an outcast herself (magggic)

Theo : same with Lelia but I headcanon him to have unhinged or gray day every blue moon and when those days happen if he decides to eat a Kit-kat that day, he’s gonna eat it like the second option soooooooooo

Ridley : she really doesn’t care in my opinion so she eats it the quickest, or most efficiently whatever that is from the top or from the side after all, she’s tired and she wants to get it over with.

Olly & Izzy : I don’t think I need to explain.

OK you’re saying red isnt evil evil they’re just cheering on red getting possess and red is not wanting to be evil-

I have been replaced.

They don't know that's not me.

It's been months since I have been stuck in my own head. Watching what is around me as if my eyes became screens of a television.

The ghost that possessing me goes by the name of Herobrine. He needed a body to be able to use the power from that block that I have never got the chance to use on my own. And he decided to use mine even after being in contact with all my siblings.

Sometimes, I wonder if it was simply by pure bad luck that I got chosen, or if my sibs were the ones who put that trap on me. That would explain why they were so happy when they found out a new 'me' had appears after 'I' found out about that incredible power.

That terrifying power of creating these shadow beasts. Pure destruction on command of the one who were in control of the cube.

No one was afraid of that power, nor to what their youngest brother as become. They were cheering, they were cheering him.

They were so quick to accept the change.

They were so quick to abandon the real me.

Now I am stuck in my head full of what-if scenarios and bad thoughts. Forever awake and never resting. Did my siblings ever liked me for who I was? I used to be a good kid, I used to have a liking for animals, I used to be full of energy...

But now, I feel nothing of that. I can't touch anything, I can't move and with time, I have become numb.

So numb, that I woudn't mind about whatever happen to my body. I just want to stop that never ending movie that plays before me that's called life.

Even thought I am the star of this life, I am not the actor. I am stuck at being only the viewer with no interaction with the outside world and no one, and I say no one, knows about me being trapped inside of myself.

I want to be saved, but... I know for sure that it won't be by my siblings. So who else could hear me if I cry? I did scream several time on top of my lungs by hope to be heard.

But no one can.

I am stuck here because of my siblings. I hate them, I hate soooo much. I will make them pay for what they did to me. For them to remplacing me with that obviously monster.

And I will make pay that orange and deranged stickfigure for changing our life.

For ruining my life.

some kaeya facts that i want to remind everyone with because I miss him so much! (no angst this time i swear!!...but if you all want angst, I could also deliver hehehe)

1. Kaeya tells the children of Mondstadt some stories! Specifically, one that some forgot or didn't know of is that he has told the orphans under the church's care some horror story about the light in the lamp posts :D He had been shown to do a story telling to Klee while at the Veluriyam Mirage and he has also been reading to Klee her bedtime stories as well

2. Kaeya made Klee's survival rules! Kaeya has definitely done his part on preventing Klee from destroying Mondstadt before Celestia ever could (well, at least lessened the amount of times Mond gets bombed anyway). Anyone else think Kaeya purposely let Klee explode the Good Hunter's stove to avoid going to the Chasm? No? Ok-

3. He takes the attention when he dances! Depending on which language you hear it from, it is either a good or a bad thing. However, I am on team good thing simply because some mercenaries invited him to go dancing with them while he was in Sumeru ( very interesting information, Kaeya! Glad to know they found you so attractive that they did something they don't usually do!)

4. If you call him kind, he will attempt to look mean (and he fails at it lmao), and if he is not being mean, he will try to deny it. The traveler once listed down the kind things he had done for Captain Wu, a Liyue npc, and Kaeya proceeds to tell us that he records people who owe him (which is a lie. He forgot the person he helped TWICE. What he does have a record of is a well-detailed list of Treasure Hoarders and their rankings + patrol areas in Mondstadt). Another instance was during Jean's story quest where Kaeya planned the appreciation party for Jean where he gave the traveler all the credit

5. He is a great gift giver! (unless that person is Diluc because otherwise he will find the ugliest thing ever and gift that... arguably, that kinda sounds like amazing gift giving if we are talking about being an annoying sibling). He remembers passing commentary from friends and coworkers and gifts them accordingly.

6. He has his own intel network (and I'm theorizing that it is just a group of people he has helped before that insisted on paying him back in this way). Kaeya, after some heavy insistence from Captain Wu, asks him if he wants to be a friend or be part of his intel network and follow his commands no matter what. Vile, one of his known informants, also gave us a glimpse as to what it takes to be part of Kaeya's network, and that is the ability to decipher codes and read messages in between.

7. He is incredibly reliable as a knight! Not only do the people of Mondstadt agree that he is the more approachable cavalry captain between him and Diluc, but it is also a known fact that Kaeya has never failed to complete a mission to date (except the one during Diluc's 18th). Nearly every citizen of Mondstadt adores him and knows how reliable he is. Arguably, this success rate could be attributed to his "end justifies the means" mindset that not all find enjoyable, but he is definitely the person to ask if you want something done. Vile has once mentioned that she could just ask Kaeya to do the charming and convincing for her, dubbing him as a prince charming for it.

8. He is one of the people who spends so much time with Klee (potentially attributed by the fact that he also has more free time compared to others). He spends so much time with her that Klee mentions a few interesting things about Kaeya, such as the fact that Albedo draws Kaeya frequently (enough times that Albedo says Kaeya could be drawn by him easily. yes, it's that "three strokes" line lmao) and the fact that Kaeya has saved Klee from solitary confinement a lot. He is shown to be a very effective person when it comes to corralling Klee without making her feel bad as even when he was trying to berate her, he still ended up giving her a possible reward if she listens.

9. He is very meticulous. He willingly spends the time to get himself ready in the clothes that he is wearing, and he likes embellishments. He really is quite the perfectionist in his actions as well. (very Alberich of him!✌️) We can also see this in his handwriting that has been described as "beautiful" and again with his near perfect track record as a knight.

Here is the order oldest to youngest (with a Bonus of the full name, nickname, and what I think they did? I don’t remember) 

Leonardo Stein-Meyer (Leo) - if I remember correctly, he is the oldest, and plays the cello

Giovanni Stein-Meyer (Gio) - not sure if he’s the second oldest or third oldest (prob 2nd)  and plays a guitar 

Cleopatra Stein-Meyer (Cleo) - (read Fiona’s part)

Fiona Stein-Meyer (no nickname) - Her and Cleo are the two i know the least about  due to the fact, I often confuse and mixed both of them, so I know that both of them are somewhere the second youngest 3rd youngest, one of them, I believe, sing soprano opera, and the other teaches at a high school and plays piano,

The only way I can tell the difference is that the one with fluffy hair plays piano, while the other one with the bangs sings opera.

If you manage to get most of them, correct, congrats!

The two thing I don’t like about the Stein-Meyer is:

1. why is Fiona‘s name different from the others?  like it doesn’t rhyme at all and it doesn’t have a nickname. They couldn’t have gone w/ idk, Aliona? AND IT’S A REAL NAME MEANING SHINING LIGHT? and they could have gone with the nickname Alio? Gio already proved that it doesn’t have to end with EO?

2. Why is Theo name his full name and it’s not something like Idk, Theophanes? Which is the male version of Theophania here given to children born on the epiphany in eastern Christian traditions - just why??

hey so do you guys ever think about how often Diluc is referred to as the ‘uncrowned king of Mondstadt’ since he’s like the only male heir to the noble families and like it or not, where Jean is the authority of the nation, he’s pretty much the symbolic face of Mondstadt and the values the nation projects— and despite his temperament, Diluc has learned to embrace it wholeheartedly. He’s charismatic, extremely righteous, and he blazes bright and gives the people of Mondstadt a fire that guides them in the dark, quite literally. Like he’s literally Bruce Wayne lmao

But he doesn’t want this, no, and here’s the proof- maybe he did, once upon a time, before everything happened— but he doesn’t really care about wine, he only cares about the winery because of the people in it and his father. He’s righteous but doesn’t give a damn about the rules and the knights of favonius. After what happened to him, he’s clearly a rebel at heart now, not some charming superhero who does everything expected of him, unlike before. In summary, Diluc was someone who was quite literally ready to become an (uncrowned) prince, pretty much royalty in every way except title- and on surface level, he still is, but he throws that mantle away in secret whenever he can.

And then look at Kaeya, his brother who’s always lived in his shadow. It’s easy to see that now, people don’t really project Mondstadt’s values onto Kaeya the same way they do onto Diluc, since lots of people hardly even remember that they’re brothers. And yeah people still think kaeya is reliable and nice, but also because of how Kaeya built his image after Diluc left— an excessively over the top personality that pretends to be sadistic, mean, and at the same time dripping with false charm. So despite that people still find him approachable and nice as expected of a knight, hardly anyone would call him befitting of a prince.

But Kaeya is actually so painfully and authentically ‘princely’ and kind, deep down— the way he deals with children, his fierce loyalty and willingness to protect people at all costs, his self sacrificial tendencies that most often appear for Diluc’s sake. Even the tidbits of lore we get about him scream aristocracy- his ‘ceremonial’ bladework, Alberich family secrets that reveal just how central they are to the kingdom of khaenriah. This is kinda obvious to any player who’s bothered to learn anything about kaeya, but to the characters in game, there are very few that know that side of him.

And whereas Diluc is forcibly projected the title of royalty and secretly rejects it, Kaeya was actually born into it- his family is very important to Khaenriah, and much like how he does with anything related to his past and heritage, he loudly and outwardly rejects anything to do with ‘royalty’. Diluc outwardly rejects what Kaeya shows (a darker, more ‘means justify the end’ nature), and Kaeya tries to hide what Diluc projects (a sophisticated and aristocratic upbringing).

Honestly? It’s as if they were swapped at birth. Kaeya’s real hidden nature, even after everything that happened to him, remains to be so unwavering and people-oriented, while Diluc’s true personality changed drastically over time. Not that Diluc isn’t unwavering or whatever, but Diluc mostly actively rejects relationships and prefers to do everything alone, obsessed with the idea that he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt, whereas Kaeya always, always yearns for companionship and for people to be by his side- solidarity.

Diluc is the poster image of royalty, but his brother who hides in the shadows is a real king. They complete each other, balance each other out, represent the parts that the other hides. I don’t know if hoyoverse always meant them to be that way, but damn they basically represent each other’s parts of themselves that they lost. Yin and Yang, two halves of the same whole.
